Hello guys I'm using cyanogenmod with a combination of cm tweaks and build.prop tweaks and it's running lightning speedy.
My combination here is:
CM TWEAKS: jit enabled, 16-bit transparency enabled. Disable others.
BUILD.PROP: added line "windowsmgr.max_events_per_sec=150" which is said to increase scrolling performance. Also, changed Dalvik virtual machine heapsize to 12m. Yes, 12m.
Damn fast for me. Share your combination!
I'm the same as you , except without that build.prop tweak and with 32m heapsize
Im using these tweaks on my SGA :
V6 SUPERCHARGER script
Loopy Smoothiness script
and CM Tweaks, pretty much the same as yours
It runs like hell lol just like that game on iOS.
just would like to ask how you apply those tweaks.
how to apply 16 bit transperancy? and how it helps to bosst up speed?
and also i have class 2 mmc and i have moved dalvik cache to sd, now i want to revert it to phone memory or cache but in A2SD it shows not enough memory...
I have supercharger too, applied it too long ago to remember

CM tweaks refer to the one in cyanogenmod settings>performance.
Build.prop tweaks, use root explorer and go to system>build.prop, and mount r/w. Then add in the line.
and what about 16 bit transparancy?

I have the overclock-compatible kernel, maybe that was the one that added the transparency option in CM settings.
And how does tht helps in improving performance?
Scrolling seems better. Though I see visual glitches in some apps, but nothing big. Google it then if you want the technical explanations!
Hey I flashed with OC kernel though I couldn't find 16 bit transperancy option....could u tell me where I can find that option?

What best CM performance setting you recomend for Behrad rom 2.2 update?
Im at:
normal 800 Mhz CPU ondemand
using enabled JIT
enabled surface dithering
VM is 32
1 Gb sd-ext
256 Swap
Dalvik is on sd...
Is there any option how to make it faster without overclocking?
I dont use any supercharger...
Best result in quadrant is 1875 without any airplanemode ar app killer....
Thx ;-)

Supercharge it, ram probably works more efficiently. Use 16 bit transparency!
I don't use swap. A slow sd slows it down, swapping also uses CPU.

I have those modules compiled for some time. But since we don't suffer from lag caused by ridiculous file system, it's not really useful.
Cheers,
z
yep, i know there is no lag, but still, ext4 with disable barriers, noatime and other options can be very fast, and also ext4 uses more ram so it doesnt write temporary files that much on disk ( and also some more points in quadrant ) but thx anyway, what about btrfs? 2.6.29 already supported it, and also cant we use unesed RAM as swap or compcache maybe? thx
i know there is a way to overclock our SGA. But i dont know how. Can someone make a tutorial how to. for a noob

you need ketut's patched kernel
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1296905
then get setcpu
i dont get that thread... sry but im rly noob when things come to that kind of stuff
Download the oc kernel
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1296905
there are 3 download files. which one and how to install them.
Read the instructions instead of finding shortcuts.
If you can't do that then you shouldn't even be wanting additional features like oc.
Do you have cyanogen mod and clockworkmod then I can help
And you have to dowload file which has written oc kernal on in it and flash it
After that choose 921mhz after that phone starts to reboot.

Y r u tellin him to oc at 921mhz? 921 is stable on sum phones, not all. It depends on d cpu. My fone works at 921mhz, bt sum fones r stable at 844mhz. So normally one should start frm 806mhz or 844mhz.

guide to overclock samsung galaxy ace
first install cyanogen mod 7 using clockworkmod.then follow following steps-
Though ketut.kumajaya make this kernel to reach 1036mhz but now we can run at 940mhz
because he make some mistake in voltage providing so above 940mhz phone get reboot
so choose max frequency 940mhz
How to install-
1.put zip file in sdcard
2.go in recovery mod
3.choose install zip from sdcard
4.choose zip and install
5.now reboot
How to choose frequency
go in setting/cynogenmod setting/performance/cpu setting/ then choose max frequency you want but it should not more than 940mhz
file i used - cm-7.1-oc-kernel-2.6.35.7-perf-CL562111.zip (4.5mb)
if i helped u plzzzzzzzzzz click on thank me

Agreed!
Dude, if you're unfamiliar with it, don't do it at all! If you screw your device up you'll be pissed!
There isn't much point overclocking the.Galaxy Ace anyway. Most people can only clock to 900mhz. Any higher and the device restarts. That 100mhz difference is going to be barely noticeable unless your benchmarking.
You can also **** your CPU up royally (beyond repair) =[

dont overclock
why would you want to risk frying your CPU for the marginal increase in performance?
its better to use a lightweight rom than overclock

But what you only use supercharger like i do, you said in the OP that you dont need the tweak because you are supercharged

Are you editing them for neo/v as last time these were posted, there were many errors, now as their init scripts you won't see errors apart from in the logs, but there's also a script to disable the log.....
So may I recommend you grab script manager or a terminal and execute them to check for errors, then update with a list, or better fixed versions.
There appears s lot of confusion with init scripts yes android core is universal but tweaks aren't they use mount points, paths to devices and kernel features that vary from device to device eg sgs2 to neo and kernel to kernel.

Nothing happend bro, i flashed it and supercharger still owns the tweak,
so solution: supercharger is better
Not really fair to say, as their not set for our phone. Look at 04journalism for example all lines with /path/ need altering to their relative mount points (you can get this from fstab)
Okay, I'm a bit confused...
I'm on stock .562 right now, with stock kernel, no supercharger... Can I try this? Does stock kernel support these scripts?

Full details please? What rom?
Just flash nAa's rom, I've been using it for a year and half and now Im on a S3 mini. Link to the rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1415026
Mod/Rom: MINICM7Pro V21
Recovery: Clockworkmod v3.2.0.0-r5 x10mini
kernel and baseband is same like 2.1 version(sony official update)

If you are in nAa. Go to settings/cyanogenmod settings/performance/ you can speed up your phone there
My performance settings
I used smartassV2 governer with min CPU frequency at 245 Mhz. not 122 mhz. i left the maximum frequency at 691 Mhz. this is because i hav so many apps syncronizing that i need the little extra power but surprizingly, it didnt affect my battery life. i also have undervolting enabled. i noticed compcache can slow the system down so i disabled it as well as surface dithering. i also enabled allow purging of assets. if you still having problems, use memory manager from playstore and play around with the settings there or use V6 supercharger. search for that on this forum. also, use seeder. that made a huge difference with my phone.
