2. entering to recovery mod and wipe cache
3. flash the new MIUI rom from zip file (ver 1.11.11)
4. reboot the device
and then I get bootloop! please help me to solve this issue, I already tried CM 7.1.02 and other rom's
am I doing somthing wrong during the process?
with official cyanogenmod 7.1.0.2 i also got bootloop issue , after that i installed free xperia team's cyanogenmod and it works great

Real ICS r5.2 looks on CyanogenMod 9

Hello,
I have had a lot of problems of updating my Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro with CyanogenMod 9 but this files worked for me, in the correct order
1. flashtool -> SK17i_4.1.B.0.431_BB72.ftf
2. flashtool -> SK17_4.1.B.0.431_WORLD.ftf
3. fastboot -> boot.img (from FXP133-cm-9-20120809-UNOFFICIAL-mango.zip, CWM-based Recovery v6.0.1.1)
4. CWM recovery -> FXP133-cm-9-20120809-UNOFFICIAL-mango.zip (Android 4.0.4)
But... Then I realised that CyanogenMod 9 had a much uglier interface than "Real ICS r5.2". Is this possible to solve with a Theme?
Thanks in advance
yeah . i want this too if possible . but this need a lot of hardworks
what do you need from cyanogenmod 9 ? and what do you need from Real ICS ?
i think there is no perfect rom like this
so which one ?
Cyanogenmod 9 optimized performance for daily uses
Real ICS great and nice interface for comfortable uses

[Q] Porting no popular Phone

Hello users. I have one Question about Porten rom.
I have Android OT-908 and i Have Android 2.2 . This phone haven't update to 2.3.
If I ported my phone guide from guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1598713 there is a chance to create Custom rom Android GB 2.3 from phone with the same CPU ( G1 , Xperia X10 mini pro etc) ?
For Example - I'm download Android 2.3 (CM) at G1 - and I'm editing from guide to My alcatel.
Hey buddy..
As far as I know yes..
But the thing is that you need to have a custom recovery to flash it on your phone..
So you need to look for a custom recovery port too for your device...
And good luck for your efforts..
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium

You should try to port CM from source, starting from the device files from a phone similar to yours (same cpu, you, drivers...)

Backup via Recovery yes? Well - I will Change only Lib and aplications (with guide) so bootload is same.

Xperia Mini Pro beginner

Hi, I'm back here after a number of years with my Xperia Play, I need some help flashing/rooting/modifying my Xperia Mini Pro to the latest version of Android.
I have many questions, the main reason I want to upgrade is to get the latest apps only available with newer versions of Android such as Vine.
Are there any stable ROMs that anyone could recommend specifically for the Xperia Mini Pro? As far as I know the version of android I'm running (2.3.4, kernel v 2.6.32.9-perf, 4.0.2.A.0.62 build) has not been touched, do I begin with rooting before flashing? Also, how do I go about backing up my data?
First of all, there's no best rom like stated here
If you want official ics, flash the stock ics rom and root it using this tool
