[Q] How do I backup Swype added words? - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys,
I have Swype 3.23.89.29564.29696.2852.OXX on my SGS2.
Is there any way to save/backup/restore my added words? I mean, the personal words that I add to my dictionary?
I want to backup/restore because of ROM replacement.
Thanks!

Titanium Backup? It depends on where it saves the words... but maybe the app itself holds the data our perhaps its the messaging app

thx a bunch man

Looks a lot harder than one would assume. I will try it when I update swipe the next time or do a full wipe.

Its really easy. The only hard part is typing in terminal and not making spelling errors.

I think you mean to ask how do I restore all my settings after each time I root
If thats the question, then, I use the Titanium backup for backing up and restoring all my apps and settings.
Hope it might have helped you
Is Titanium better than MyBackup PRO ? Does it backup market links and everythig else so when I restore I get my phone in state like nothing happened ? As I can see, there is no difference between paid and free Titanium Backup ?

okie .. I get it now .. The widget is called as "Beautiful Widget"
They both just as good as each other but titanium allows you to restore app data. If you wana b ultra safe use both lol atleast u can test it yaself an all
Unlike pro version, the free version only allows one backup copy of each app.. not sure about what else

[Q] How do I remove HTC_IME?

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section, I'm a new user here. Anyway, how do I remove the HTC_IME keyboard from my X8? I'm running floyo 0.30(racht's) and I don't really like the HTC_IME keyboard. In the Language and Keyboard settings, there's no "Input Method" option. Thanks in advance.

I like the stock Samsung one for the 4x3 keyboard, I find the qwerty one is too small and I spend more time correcting spelling mistakes than typing

As you tell that you have backuped ur data .
Then feel free to make a factory reset.
It may fix this for sure.

Salam mahdi87_gh,
Do you mean by keyboard, or by the text displayed even without the keyboard?
You might be able to install a custom keyboard from Google Play, or use an app like locale changer. But those are my guesses. Even though they are written in a similar text, Farsi and Arabic are segregated.
You also might be able to change the font, with a font changer app, but it might not work like you want it to.
Hoping that this advice helps you.

This person "may" have some helpful info:

As for browsers, is there maybe a non-stock browse that comes with language support, even if you have to install it to the browser?
