throw it out the window or either use a stick with a false finger to see if it works
have you tried going back to stock rom and see what happens or unroot your handset and try again? sorry i never had this happen or read anywhere the same thing......have you tried searching the forum to see if anyone else had the same problem? or do you do a full wipe before flashing a rom?

Hi I have been messing around flashing custom roms and Frankenstein roms on my rooted S2 today something went wrong and now I have a red border which flashes up around the outer edge on my screen when I touch an app on the screen.
My phone still works ok but I fear I have done some damage, does anyone know if this can be fixed?
Alan
I'm fairly sure it's one of the developer options in settings.
P.S. Very descriptive thread title.

Backup files and do a data factory reset (*2767*3855#), if that doesn`t help reflash the stock rom with Odin 1.85.
yes that was present in the early early leaked ICS ROMs, just change the ROM to the official newer versions.
also Cm9 developer mode has that option.
Thanks for the reply's, I have tried doing a factory reset and I am using the rooted XWLP8 rom which was working fine yesterday.
Thanks for all the reply's, now sorted Fixed by going in to Settings, Developer options.
Alan
Excellent. Maybe the ones telling you to factory reset/flash another ROM will change how they help others.
But I doubt it.

Very un thankful attitude buddy! Everyone tries at his best and don't forget massive number of problems are because of faulty flashes.
So instead of criticizing, try to help few.

Unsure if you're trolling or just plain stoopid. I gave the correct answer in the first response to this thread, so I don't understand your point.
Hey guys,
I have been running the last build of Paranoid Android until today. My speaker sound suddenly stopped working yesterday. I updated the kernel (to Feb 10. 2013) thinking maybe something broke but even that doesnt seem to have helped!
I need help! I keep missing all my calls, messages .. :crying:
Cheers!

Bump! Guys .. no one has replied to my post on PA. Can someone please help me out here? I even tried installing the SuperNexus rom on it. No difference. I am currently looking for the stock rom to see if the problem persists.
Help me please! Pretty please? :crying:

Hi, unfortunately im new user, so i cant ask that in AOKP thread (i dont have 10 posts), therefore ill ask here:
My problem is when someone calls me i get 'com.android.phone has stopped' message and i cannot answer the call.
I have wiped cache and dalvik, but it was still happening, so i did it again and fixed permissions --> nothing worked.
Then ive deleted rom, did a factory reset and flashed rom again. I'm still having this problem.
Can anyone help me?

try flashing another rom ? and see if some problem exists. or even try just going to stock and see. could be problem in the rom so you might want to report it. also could be problem in the flash. example a bad flash. then see what happens

Hello, I had my acer running KingRoot, but due to certain requirements had to change it to supersu, so I used supersu-me. After rebooting the phone is stuck in the acer logo screen.
I've tried to wipe it, no fix, I also tried to use fastboot to clear cache and it didn't work also.
I can't find any rom for this phone and I'm pretty much lost. I really need to fix this so any help would be highly appreciated.
Any info I can provide I will, just ask for it.
I appreciate in advance your availability to help me.

Can someone give me some guidance with this?
It's been a week. I'm really not asking you to do the job for me. I just need some guidance.
So there's not one single person in these forums that can actually help me? Isn't this about android development? Shouldn't this be an easy answer for you guys?
Look for fastboot flash rom, then download the stock rom. maybe reflasshing the boot.img helps
