[Q] Updating restored softwares using android market

I recently backed up my phone apps then restored them apps. However, after that I went to android market and I realised that none of the apps that I restored was listed on the android market so It's harder to know if there's any software updates available as I have to look up manually. How can I fix this issue?
You're looking for Titanium Backup's Market Doctor function.

That will definetly take care of the problems you are experienceing, or you could find
each app in the market and then hit the "update" button which will update the app and then
give you the option to turn on full time notification.

[Q] Market apps?

I am on eclipse v0.5. Why are some apps on the market like facebook not compatible with my phone?
Most apps are compatible.
What kind of error or message do you get?
When I go to download facebook from the market there is no download button. Only a message saying my device isn't compatible with it where the button use to be.

Same prob on my n1 for some apps (scottrade, firefox). One temp solution us to undo market updates and cached data and quickly install apps before the market updates itself
Some say its due to the density setting in build.prop... For me even the default density on cm7 didn't help.

If u r rooted you can freeze market updater after clearing DATA and uninstall updates so it wont update on ya. Have had my.phone.like that for a while now market working fine this way
Thanks for everyones input! Turns out that lcd density was messing with it. Once I went back to stock resolution I could download facebook and firefox.

Thanks, froze "Market Updater" with titanium backup and then uninstalled market updates and wiped its data. worked. All apps are installable at the custom density.

New market update

Does anyone else have issues with downloading and installing apps sometimes? I find I can update already installed apps but when I see an app I like it will hang and say please wait iirc and an orb will just rotate constantly.... Previous version works but as soon as you remove update in applications it works but then instantly the market is updated to New version.
Yup, it takes ages for the new market to load apps, sometime it gets stuck the way you mention and i need to delete data and market cache in order for it to load apps in the market or installed apps. Hopefully they will fix it in a new update.

My SGSII downloaded apps auto-deleted

Recently I found my apps is being auto-deleted and sometime it prompt out a free photos and videos link..Am wondering whether my SGSII got any spyware installed unconsciously???
Could someone please help me??!!!
Happy new year buddies....
Use titanium backup to backup your apps. Then reset your phone and install apps bit by bit (e.g. 10) and see which app causes it. You can also try installing avast mobile seciurity app which is free from the market and do a full scan
install AirPush Detector from market, it will show you what apps are using AirPush Ads

Uninstall Google Play Store

Hi guys,
I was wondering if it is possible to uninstall the Google Play Store via Titanium Backup without having FCs and trouble after.
Honestly I use very few apps (this device doesn't allow to have many) and I would like to increase the RAM availability by stopping Google Play services. In addition, one can download the apps using the browser, so it really seems like a RAM and battery wastage.
I already tried to disable the Google Play store with Autostarts but it seems like the new version of the Google Play cannot be disabled completely. I also tried to uninstall the Google Play updates but it updates automatically again. So I was thinking to remove it completely.
Anyone has suggestions/has already tried?
Thanks in advance to everybody
Yes you can but wont increase ram much.
What rom are you on.
ALWAYS BACKUP STYSTEM APPS.
