Hello,
I recently updated to CM7 Pro. Unfortunately it also doesnt have the Complex Script rendering. Can some one tell me if any custom roms support the complex script rendering? Thanks

The indian ROM supposedly has support for Bangla. You can try the singapore version of the rom and it should work with the complex script
I am trying to convince the devs to work on the indian firmware on CM7, but until then, we are struck with vanilla firmware

Hello, first o all, the acer liquid mini is a new phone, they is not much forums about it, but i can list you a custom rom, just google ace firmwareband it should be in the first results, some websites may redirect you to a russian website, thats because the rom was develloped by russians, but it is also available in english. I also know forums about the acer liquid mini, but in french: acer-android.fr
acer liquid mini e310, froyo (2.2.2)
After Installing a ACE ROM; beware that it may be difficult for some to remove/switch ROM.

Yes just go to System>Update Phone. I just got Acer Liquid Mini updated to Gingerbread (2.3.5). It is worth the upgrade looks much better and neater, also feels much more smoother.
Hope that helps.
Hi, I'm back here after a number of years with my Xperia Play, I need some help flashing/rooting/modifying my Xperia Mini Pro to the latest version of Android.
I have many questions, the main reason I want to upgrade is to get the latest apps only available with newer versions of Android such as Vine.
Are there any stable ROMs that anyone could recommend specifically for the Xperia Mini Pro? As far as I know the version of android I'm running (2.3.4, kernel v 2.6.32.9-perf, 4.0.2.A.0.62 build) has not been touched, do I begin with rooting before flashing? Also, how do I go about backing up my data?
First of all, there's no best rom like stated here
If you want official ics, flash the stock ics rom and root it using this tool

Hello there.
I recently changed my device from a Xperia X8 to the new LG L4-II (E440), but i noticed that development for these new LG devices is almost nowhere to be seen because of its Mediatek hardware (at least that's what devs complain about)
I used MiniCM10 on the X8 (JB 4.1.2) and noticed that both of these devices have the same resolution (although the LG has a bigger screen), so my question is:
Since both devices have the same resolution, and both Roms are Jelly Bean 4.1.2, is it possible to use the UI files from the custom Rom in Lg's stock rom, (SystemUI, framework-res, stuff like that) without bricking the software?
LG doesn't have a custom recovery and both phones have very different hardware, so porting the Rom for me is out of the question, i'm no developer... but since they have the same resolution, it would be fun to merge some CM flavour into the stock rom.
Thank you guys in advance.

no..bro yu simply cant copy the ui files for another rom...dey wont work... U may end up soft bricking or bootlooping ur device...
Yu must port it for ur device
and another thing yu cant simply port cyanogen from another phone to a mediatek device...it will never work....(may cause hard brick also)
only roms of mediatek can be ported for mediatek devices dat also the chipset should be same (like mt6577 to mt 6577) or (mt 6589 to mt6589) not from (mt6577 to mt6589) and vv
hit thanks rather typing
Anyone can change the UI without root, just install nova launcher, sun beam live wallpaper and a custom notification bar from the play store.
port UI
i want to ask you that i started cooking roms using android kitchen for my s duos.. but i want to know tthat how to port UI of other rom to my rom..
waiting for reply
Running the stock OTA kit Kat on the mediapad (honor) x1.
Please see attached photo for details.
The phone is a bit sluggish, due in part to the slow Cpu and I wanted to see if I can overclock it (hopefully from 1.6 to 2.0 ghz).
I'd like to stick with the stock Rom if at all possible but I'm open to a custom lollipop rom if it supports an overclock kernel.
Any idea where I can load an overclockable kernel and how?
Thanx
PS: I plan on using SetCpU which I already bought
Hi
I need help with development of kernel.
I'm new on Note3 custom ROMs. I installed good kernel, idleKernel.
I seen in most custom Note 5 Port ROMs users said, @civato Note3 kernel is better, but for my model phone haven't support for this kernel (my phone is Note3 Snapdragon, but korean version).
I now want make own kernel.
- How to extract/compile with windows using cygwin?
- How to convert to my phone model?
- How to change CPU/GPU ghz?
sorry for bad english, thanks
