[Q] Install of Cyanogen Half Worked - TouchPad General

I seem to have installed it but when I reboot and should be offered the chance to boot into WebOS or Cyanogen I am offered:
boot webOS
boot ClockworkMod
boot webOS recovery
reboot
shutdown
What have I done wrong and could it be qa case of just having to start again? I want to make sure that's safe, that's why I'm posting. Maybe I should add that I couldn't find the folder where the Novacom drivers were installed (on a mac Lion 7.2) so just typed this into Terminal
novacom boot mem:// </Users/tonyohooligan/Desktop/ACMEInstaller
Andy ideas?

There should be a "Space" after the "<" sign.
novacom boot mem:// < /Users/tonyohooligan/Desktop/ACMEInstaller
Did you place the GAPPS moboot Clockwork and CM7 .zip on the cminstall folder?
Also make sure you add "update-" at the beginning of every .zip
Hope that helps.

OK, there wasn't a space so there's something I have got wrong. Can I just start again from the beginning (placing the zip files in the cminstall folder, running ACMEInstaller etc) without damaging anything? Not sure about what you mean about adding 'update-' at the beginning of every .zip, is that to the start of the file name of each .zip if I attempt the procedure again? Thanks for replying BTW, much appreciated.

Yes the "update-" at the start of every files helps the ACMEInstaller identify everything properly. Give it a try again.
Good Luck.

Will do, I'll let you know how it goes....

Rather annoyingly I have got the same result, no Cyanogen option at the multi boot stage. All zip files have gone from the cminstall folder as well. I rather get the feeling that I need to erase everything and start again but have no idea how to do that...

I wonder if I use Clockwork Mod to install Cyanogen, reckon that will work?
Hmm, got a message saying that it can't open the zip (bad). Going to download that file (update-cm-7.1.0-tenderloin-a2.1-fullofbugs.zip) again.

Try running the ACMEUninstaller. You do so the same way you do the Installer and start all over again. Seems weird you cannot get it done. Are you sure the folder is "cminstall" and not CMinstall Cminstall etc?

OK, all installed, it was either the missing space or a dodgy .zip file. Either way thanks for taking the time to help me out atapia984 it is really appreciated.

Anytime Have fun. Keep a look around at some of the other threads for troubleshooting. It is all out there.
Sent from my PC36100.

Thought I should just outline what I did to put this right in case anyone else has the same problem. I downloaded the ACMEUninstaller from here:
http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rc...-cW9Cw&usg=AFQjCNHZTu7Aghf80vOjo4Pa7Feslo0SmA
and put it on the desktop. Then I made sure the Touchpad was connected via USB and put the Touchpad in recovery mode (reboot, hold down volume up before power comes back on again) then opened the Terminal and typed:
novacom boot mem:// < /Users/tonyohooligan/Desktop/ACMEUninstaller
This deleted everything from the Touchpad. I then followed the instructions again and this time Cyanogen installed perfectly. Seems like a pretty damn good Alpha version as well, haven't had a crash yet. Thanks once again to atapia for all the help.

One last thing atapia, is there anywhere to report bugs as I find them without getting on the devs nerves?

[Q] E:Can't open /sdcard/update.zip-Samsung Vibrant

Hey everybody,
I apologize in advance if this post is a duplicate but I have tried searching for a solution and still lost. Here is what I did: I used the Odin to restore stock rom, then re-rooted using the one click method, then downloaded a rom from theunlockr.com, then used rommanger to install it. My rom has gave me no problems but now when I try to reboot into recovery to install something else(Like the 2.3 keyboard or a lagfix) i get this error:
E:Can't open /sdcard/update.zip
(No such file or directory)
Installation aborted
Can someone please help me? Thank you, BTW I have a Samsung Vibrant running axura-froyo-rom
I had the same problem too.
When I put update.zip at the root directory of internal memory... once I restart the phone (not get into the recovery mode), this file is missing / dissapear. So... I always got this message too :
E:Can't open /sdcard/update.zip
(No such file or directory)
Installation aborted
anybody can help us pleaseeeeee
I got my phone to factory settings using odin then i rerooted my phone and flashed the same custom rom back on and it worked. Try reflashing your phone, backup first, might work.

thanks for reply.
how to use factory setting using odin ? tick the "re-partition" box ?
can you explain to us step by step please ?
I'm so frustated
Did you guys delete the update.zip after rooting?
If you do not see
sdcard/update.zip using a file manager, download the update.zip from my noob guide, move it to internal memory and then try to flash CWR.
Also, look in the bottom of the noob guide (last few posts) for a solution to a RECENT issue with CWR... I assume whatever Koush did in the last update is causing this problem? BUT, there is a fix posted by another XDA user... just a matte of downloading the file and putting it in the right place.

listen to s15's post....he knows what he is talking about. i followed his noob guide in his sticky and everythign worked perfectly! his vids are also very helpful. one thing i have found that works a lot as well is if you download ROM Manager from the market and then click on "fix permissions"... don't know if this would help in this situation but i have had that fix weird stuff.

yeah this, the update.zip is ESSENTIAL for your phone to run the clockwork recovery, it stores all the things needed, and when you click "reinstall packages" your system goes in update.zip and looks for what to boot up and finds CWR and boots that so you see that screen.
Don't delete it if you did.
i have tried numerous times to root, but cant seem to get update.zip file in right place, can anyone help? thanks. challenged noob!!

When you usb into your phone it needs to be in the initial area of your sdcard.
You might have a bad update.zip file. Two things, verify the md5(if possible) from where you got it and check the properties and make sure it's not names update.zip.zip. The later is very common.
Try this method too btw, when I Odin back to stock I always use this one to root again. Follow the 'Automated Method' area.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=786877
you will need these drivers AND set your phone to debugging mode (settings/applications/development check USB debugging).

hey all,
Newbie here trying to flash a ROM, i am running into this same error, i have tried everything here and i have one question (might be a stupid question) but my root sd folder is called SD/, not SDCard/ ...is this a path error?
Please note it file must be in the internal card, not the SD card.
This step drove me nuts.
"2. Copy the update.zip (and the ROM) to the INTERNAL SD (not the external SD Card). sdcard/ " (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=732458)
i ran into the same problem...how do i get from 3e to CWR?
here's what's shown in my vibrant directory: Android, DCIM, external_sd, LOST.DIR
i dont have an internal sd (the card) so it's not shown?
the path i got error on: /mnt/internal_sd/update.zip
1. when i tried to "reinstall packages" i keep getting the error that the update.zip file cant be found. should i create a folder for it or something? i think it's a matter of pathing but i cant find out the right place to put the file...(to get from 3e to CWR)
2. i see people suggesting boot with odin or sth like that...does that solve my problem and how do i do that?

You definitely have an internal sd card. Use Astro file manager or something similar and put update.zip on the root of internal sd card, meaning not in a folder. It should look like sdcard/update.zip. If you are having the 3e mismatch recovery issue read this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=833423

i go to the link that you linked and ran the script. then i download the update.zip file at the noob guide with a slimbean 4.2.2 rom and addons. this time i would just put it in the root folder (technically not in any folder). when i try to reinstall packages, the screen shows that it is "replacing stock recovery with clock work recovery"... but then it would go back to the 3e.
so...i guess putting the files in the root folder is correct. but someone it still wont let me get tot CWR...

You have to reinstall packages twice for it to work properly. It is normal to not work the first time, just reinstall packages again and you should be good to go. If you keep having issues you should just flash back to stock 2.1 with Odin and go from there.

What version of TWRP are you on?
My only other thought would be that the roms aren't downloading correctly for some reason or another, check the size of the file downloaded to the actual size its supposed to be.
Im using the latest version of TWRP. I flashed the following .img:

My guess is a bad download then, possibly you aren't getting the whole file when you download it?
I'm redownloading see if thats the fix. I initially downloaded directly to phone. I am downloading to computer now and will drop into SD card and see what happens from there. Cross your fingers!!!!!

With the size of the roms for the 3D I would highly recommend always just doing it on your computer. I almost guarantee that is your issue, not 100% sure but not just a shot in the dark.

NO GO!?!?! I wiped and attempted again and nothing. SAME ERROR MESSAGE. Quick question: The background image when choosing to zip to flash, is it a box with question marks? Just wondering maybe something is wrong with my tmrp.
I dont get it and dont know what to do. Should I push the root .zip again to see what happens, if anything?

Try running the PC86IMG.zip from your bootloader instead of pushing the img file for TWRP. My only guess is that for some reason or another it is something to do with the recovery.
Could you provide me some directions really quick, detailed? Just want to make sure i get this right. Ya dig lol. Man I am so discouraged right now. Im missing my Hero lol. Ouch no, i didnt just say that. nevermind
I have the following directions:
Install as a Flashable Zip? [RECOMMENDED]
1.Download flashable zip from the OP and rename it "PG86IMG.zip" (without the quotes)
2.Place in the root of the sdcard
3.Power off phone (make sure you turn off hot boot or pull the battery when it's off)
4.Power on the phone holding power and volume down
5.Follow the prompts to flash it
6.Delete .zip (PG86IMG.zip) after booting
7.Enjoy
I have read over and over that you will be "prompted" to flash as update or whatever, but I never get this option. I basically just load into hboot. Am I missing a step here or what?

Just read what you posted before I posted that. If you are not being prompted for an update then the file isn't renamed properly. You don't need to add .zip when you rename it because it is already a zip file.
Ok, I made sure the file name was correct. When loading, it slowed up on that .zip but never prompted me to do anything?
Oh and still getting the same message when trying to install ROM. It was different this time around with the slowing up when booting like it did something but it never prompted me to do any action. I really dont know man, I am clueless.

Hmmm so you did update the recovery or still not able to?
Second guessing myself now, root of the SDcard is just anywhere in the SDcard not within a folder, correct? Just want to make sure, trying to over all my bases. Jeeeze, I did not have this type of trouble with my Hero. I am feeling like a Noob but this is challenging me.
It did not prompt me to update the recovery. It simply slowed down during the .zip verification process when it was booting and than it kept going. Nothing more, no prompt for my action to update.

The file just needs to be placed on the SD plain and simple no folders etc.
I still think this is a naming issue because it should prompt you to press the volume up to update. Rename the file to just PC86IMG and see if that works.
Oh and the renaming part is case sensitive.
Ok, I read what it said "wrong zipped image" when the process slowwed down during the boot up
And I named it only "PC86IMG". and than when i look at the file through AstoZip than the it shows as "PC86IMG.zip" The ending (.zip) automatically is added.

I really did it now... installing and it gave me an error?

Everything looked like it was going good... I made a folder names cminstall and put the 3 files in there....opened up cmd prompt and typed this is "novacom boot mem:// < ACMEInstaller" Everything was installing good until i got this error
"looking for the install images... initial install files not found. please download it from touchpad.linuxhacker.ru and put in sminstall folder on media partition. the name should start with update-cm end end with .zip..."
Anyone else have this problem? I searched google and found a guy with this prob but no solution.
I pressed the home and power button and it got me to the normal hp os
What did I do wrong?
Any help would be great!
Have you tried just the basics like downloading the files again and perhaps with a different browser/site to make sure they are not corrupt?

You either don't have a CMINSTALL folder on the root of your Touchpad, or your zip files have (1)s or (2)s behind them and need to be removed, or you just didn't but the files in the folder at all.
help me please
Hi to everyone, my name is Federico and I have the same problem!
When I started the ACMEInstaller after some minutes appeared the message "Looking for the install images...
Initial install files not found.
Please download it from touchpad.linuxhacker.ru
and put in sminstall folder on media partition
the name should start with update-cm and end with .zip"
the main issue is tha I'm not able to restar the device =(
How can I do? Please help me.
What are you installing and what exactly did you put in the cminstall folder.
Details are very useful
hold down the off button and the home button for a good 20 seconds, this is hardcoded to the device and should reset it

should be novacom boot mem:// < ACMEInstaller2
Depending on what you were trying to flash, you may need ACMEInstaller2.
You need a folder on your PC named cminstall and the same folder on your tab. In that you'll need moboot, cwm, acmeinstaller2 and your rom.
Cm9 needs acmeinstaller2

[ZIP] PRIME-FULL-WIPE Format /System /Cache and all of /Data [ZIP]UPDATE 31/05/12

THIS ZIP WILL FORMAT YOUR INTERNAL MEMORY CARD ALONG WITH SYSTEM AND CACHE. YOU WILL HAVE NOTHING BUT RECOVERY ON YOUR PRIME!!!
IF YOU DON'T WANT THAT TO HAPPEN, MOVE ALONG, THIS AIN'T FOR YOU!!!
AS WITH ANY FLASHING PROCESS, SOMETHING COULD GO WRONG!!!
NEITHER I NOR XDA SHALL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE
THAT YOU CAUSE BY FLASHING THIS ZIP!!!
Now that's out of the way, let me explain the reasons for this zip's existence.
I personally do not like having things left hanging around on my phone's SDcard
after I flash a new ROM onto it, I usually back up my data and format the card too.
It struck me that due to the nature of having an internal SDcard in the Prime
There most surely be stuff hanging around in there from all the flashing I've done.
I also find that hunting down application folders for apps that I have since deleted
can be rather tiresome as they are not always labelled as expected.
Maybe I'm just lazy, but there you go.
Now you can simply install this Zip and all of your partitions will be fresh and clean.
So that's why this zip was born unto the world.
ONCE AGAIN, THIS ZIP WILL FORMAT YOUR INTERNAL MEMORY CARD ALONG WITH SYSTEM AND CACHE. YOU WILL HAVE NOTHING BUT RECOVERY ON YOUR PRIME!!!
BEFORE STARTING, MAKE SURE YOU CAN ACCESS YOUR PRIME THROUGH ADB IN RECOVERY!!!!
INSTRUCTIONS: (THIS GUIDE ASSUMES YOU KNOW HOW TO SETUP AND USE ADB)
1. Download prime-full-wipe.zip to your Prime.
2. Backup everything from your internal SDcard to a location that exists outside of your Prime. USB Hard drive, flash drive or another SDcard.
3. After making certain that your data is safe, reboot your Prime to recovery. (zip will work in both CWM and TWRP)
4. flash the zip.
5. Once complete, you will need to reboot to recovery manually otherwise ADB push will not behave correctly.
6. After a successful reboot to recovery, open up Terminal or Command Prompt.
7. Push a new ROM.zip to your Prime via the command
Code:
adb push /path/to/rom.zip /sdcard/
If "/sdcard/" doesn't work, which sometimes happens use
Code:
adb push path/to/rom.zip /data/media/
for some reason it seems that "/sdcard/" is not seen all the time. So far seems to be a windows issue only.
8. Install your new ROM and enjoy that factory fresh taste.
I hope that these instructions are clear enough. If anyone needs help I or someone else will be happy to assist.
I STRESS AGAIN, THIS ZIP WILL FORMAT YOUR INTERNAL MEMORY CARD ALONG WITH SYSTEM AND CACHE. YOU WILL HAVE NOTHING BUT RECOVERY ON YOUR PRIME!!!
Credits to mero01 for the original idea and Team Virtuous for some sexy code used in the zip file.
KOUSH for CWM and Team Win for TWRP
Big thanks to swiss-prime and anthonyexmouth for being patient men/windows guinea pigs!
Thanks to Nandrew for pointing out that users may need to reflash CWM if experiencing ROM Manager errors after flashing this ZIP!.
UPDATE: 31/05/12
OK, so to anyone that has had problems pushing a new rom to the SD card after using this zip file. I have found some rather odd behaviour that sometimes occurs when formatting the Prime.
After many hours of testing yesterday, I found that when using CWM I simply couldn't push a file to the sdcard no matter whether I was pushing to "/sdcard/" or "/data/media/"
The only way I was able to get a rom onto the sd card was to eventually flash TWRP using fastboot and push the file after booting into TWRP. However after doing so and then getting a rom installed on the Prime, when looking through the file structure with Root explorer I found that the sdcard symlink had not actually been re-created properly, the file was there, but it was not showing as a folder, and as such, I believe that this is where the problem some people are having stems from.
The only solution that I found was to re-flash the full-wipe.zip again in TWRP and then push a rom onto the sdcard again. After successfully getting back into a working rom, I checked out the file structure and the alias had been properly re-created this time.
The behaviour is very weird and there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. However, if you have had issues pushing to the sd card after using my zip, I can only apologise for your worry.
I hope that the above makes sense and helps people out who feel that they are now up sh*t creak without a paddle.
To be clear I do not believe this to be an issue caused by CWM, I believe it to be a Prime issue.
Update 01/06/12
Nandrew pointed out to me that you will receive non-critical error messages from CWM about a missing log file after using this ZIP. Once you have made a backup, a log file will be created and these error messages will cease.
You may also need to reflash CWM if you experience rom manager errors.
I think I should give it a shot!

I'm heading out for about 20 minutes, but I'll be around after that. If you run into any issues.
This looks really helpful Dok - thanks! I seem to have accumulated a mass of crap on my SD card and I was wondering what to do with it...
I do have one question (not directly related to your zip). I have all this stuff on my SD card but I don't know which folders contain app user data and what can be safely deleted. Will TiBu restore all necessary user data to /sdcard after using this (obviously after copying the TiBu folder back to /sdcard ) or do I need to figure out what user data I need to keep for each of my apps before I wipe?
Hope that makes sense! Thanks again for this.

I haven't used TiBU yet, I made this zip and flashed it last night, then just flashed it again earlier, so I am currently with a Prime with no ROM.
I think though that TiBU should behave as normal, You may need to re-download app data for some of the biggies like games that have a separate download after the install.
Before I flashed it last night, I backed up the entire contents of the card to a USB hard drive, to make certain that I didn't lose anything at all.
<Edit> Nevermind... I read the whole post!

Thanks. I guess I am just not quite sure how TiBu works. When you do an normal factory reset thru CWM and leave /sdcard intact does TiBu restore a link to app user data located on /sdcard or does it completely rewrite it based on whats in /sdcard/TitaniumBackup/?
Doesn't really matter. I will just back everything up before I use this. I know I need to clean up /sdcard but am a bit chicken to use this

Thanks. I guess I am just not quite sure how TiBu works. When you do an normal factory reset thru CWM and leave /sdcard intact does TiBu restore a link to app user data located on /sdcard or does it completely rewrite it based on whats in /sdcard/TitaniumBackup/?

Just finished restoring my TiBU and all my apps and relevant data are intact after only copying across the TiBU folder.
Im glad someone finally made this for everyone else. I had once had a problem with my prime that no matter how many times i wiped and reflashed my status bar was not working and when i tried to return to my back up of stock it was giving me read errors restoring the data section and would stop. I had to modify a zip to format what this does and then reflash and then everything worked again. Wiped my tf201 clean but hay it worked again and thats what mattered.
I would love to try this out but I am absolutely too scared of this ADB thing to work on pushing the Zip to the Prime...I figure I will brick it..

What operating system do you use on your computer?
adb is easier on Linux and Mac than on windows.

I would have a look at the naked ADB driver thread here very useful for windows users and should help put some of those fears to rest.
Yes and if you follow this guide to install ADB it will be easy:
http://dottech.org/tipsntricks/2153...ows-computer-for-use-with-your-android-phone/
ok, when you say reboot into recovery do you mean "fastboot"
cant find device in adb. using win7 with naked drivers.
Yeah, I dont think I am that gutsy to take this risk. But Ill keep researching it. I would like to start fresh as possible..

No I mean exactly as I said. After flashing in recovery, you have to reboot back into recovery. It is a funny quirk that I may need to look into further.
No then, to your problem. Do you have an irc client on your computer? If so, come over to #asus-transformer on freenode irc and we can talk in real time.
If not, then I will endeavour to assist you here.
Gonna take the zip down for a moment until we can sort this out.
ok, rebooted into recovery and it now sees it in adb. i get a load of E: cant open lines but i guess thats cuz they aint there.
adb push "rom" /sdcard
all looks like its doing it but been stuck there for 20 mins.
leaving it just in case.

I assume that you are abbreviating when you say adb push "rom" /sdcard
It should take no more than 3 minutes to push the rom
yeah full path is adb push c:\android\virtuousprime.zip \sdcard

[CWM] Nexus Q Factory Image

For all you Shotputterz heres the factory image we've been waiting for
assuming you have debug mode enabled, ADB and fastboot working properly
EDIT 1: REUP'D CWM mod
EDIT 2: reordered process to make more sense
Method:
1. Download the Beta CWM mod from rootzwikis credit to birdman EDIT:REUP'ED http://d-h.st/Fdp
2. Using fastboot, DO NOT FLASH Clockwork mod just use the syntax
"fastboot boot 'File path of clockwork mod image'
Note* this will boot directly into the recovery without permanently writing to the recovery and boot partition on the eMMC on the Nexus Qs board
3. Download the posted CWM factory backup posted
4. make the directory on the device and adb push the backup folder (unzipped) to /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup while in CWM recovery
*The device should show up in "adb devices" while in the CWM recovery*
5. *TEXT WILL BE REALLY SMALL! Now navigate with the Scroll wheel to backups and restore and tap the mute button to select.
*IF SOMETHING IS SELECTED IN ERROR THERE IS NO BACK BUTTON JUST REBOOT AND REDO FASTBOOT BOOT*
6. Now select restore and select the image folder
7.blah blah CWM Freaking MAGIC
8. Your Q is back to factory state
If someone wants to PM me or show me how to package this in a nicer CWM zip to install with a script let me know
http://d-h.st/yeo
*Note* I am NOT responsible if you brick your already bricked Nexus Q*
You sir get a beer, since my 2nd (dev) Q won't arrive until later this week, and mine was a shot put until this post.
If you happen to be in NYC before I move to SF, you get three beers.
Hoppy ones.
I am moving to SF
Did the reflash go smoothly?

No unfortunately it didn't--I blew away all partitions other than bootloader so I can't, to my knowledge at least, push the zip since I can't adb.
I've got factory recovery, boot, system imgs but the system img won't push out because of fastboot's apparent inability to handle files that large (1GB exactly I believe).
...I guess I have to patiently await my second Q but the point of having two was to *use* one and have one for dev... rather than have one as a heavy reminder of my overzealous endeavors...
Hopefully I can give it more time while on this SF trip...
Boot into the cwm bootloader with fastboot without flashing. Adb will be enabled and you can push files the files while your in adb recovery. Try that and flash it.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda app-developers app
Does our Q's have internal memory.. if not wouldn't it be possible to run back up of off otg memory stick if recovery would support it
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium

The problem I'm having is that ADB is not responding from CWM... at least not on a Windows machine. The drivers are fine as ADB was working in normal mode before my issue sprung up.
EDIT: As suspected Virtual Ubuntu on a Win host didn't see the device, Physical Ubuntu had no issue. NQ reloaded.

Can we do this by say pushing the file to the download folder and then installing from zip?
And i know slightly off topic but once we've installed some apks for example, what's currently the best interface to use to navigate through the apps and use them?
How do I make a directory on Nexus Q

In step 2 you say make a directory for the file that is posted below. How do I create a directory on the Nexus Q? Currently my Q is stuck in a bootloop after trying to launch CWM from a Galaxy Nexus. If you could post command codes that would be awesome!
I figured it out. You can just follow step #4 and in CWM you can push the CWM Factory img to the /sdcard/Download/ folder and use CWM to unzip and launch.
Could someone please provide me the beta cwm image for Nexus Q? The links are all circular and point to
http://goo.im/devs/birdman/CWM-steelhead-beta.img
Which is dead...

Me as well...not sure why I got this damn thing...lol
The edit didn't prompt an email to me even though I'm following the thread, so those of you looking for the clockworkmod beta image please take note that OP was kind enough to provide a working link to the image.
Thanks fiveipads!

ok this is really bothering me, i've restored with this factory image several times, and I have to do it again right now and I cannot seem to push this file folder to /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup
what am i doing wrong..
it should be:
adb push NexusQFactoryImage /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/ (assuming the file is in same folder as adb which it is)
that's it right.... the extracted folder contents in a folder.. not the zip.. so i dont understand why this is not working. Everytime I go to CWM and try to restore it tells me nothing to restore...
what really bothers me is that i've done this a hundred times, and never had this problem..

BUMP.. stuck in CWM unable to get a restorable file.. no idea why...
Download OneClickRestore (it's the factory image straight from Google with the needed fastboot files included)
Extract zip to OneClickRestore
Unplug Nexus Q
Plug in Nexus Q and place hand on it til the leds turn red then remove hand
Launch "flash-all.bat" from the OneClickRestore folder
You may need to do a full reset, it's hit or miss
Another option is push & flash (Nexus Q)uantum Singularity Project RTS ROM from CWM and again may need to hard reset.
RTS is
Based on stock 4.0.4 build IAN67K
Deodexed
Zip aligned
init.d Support
bash support
Busybox updated
Prerooted
Superuser
Updated Keymap (Home=Home, End=Back, Delete=Menu, Insert=Visualizer)

The problem with putting Quantum singularity project on is that I can't turn on ADB debug, because i use a bluetooth mouse and keyboard, don't have an OTG mouse/keyboard, so somehow I need to be able to connect with adb to setup a bluetooth connected mouse/keyboard
I was thinking to install stock image, and then without wiping install Quantum SIngularity Project over top to preserve the settings for usb debug, on.
what's confusing to me is that i've restored the stock image many times before, and never had a problem.. that's why im wondering what the problem is.. if im typing something wrong.
I used the OneClickRestore as you said, and im just booting it up now
EDIT: didn't get past boot logo, i'll try again
So just to confirm this OneClickRestore is loading the stock nexus Q img right? I've never used it before I usually manually do it
EDIT: still stuck at the nexus q logo before home screen
do you see any error in my commands of trying to push the stock img folder (original post) to "/sdcard/clockworkmod/backup" ? I've done it many times before never had a problem
