Hi - I've searched and searched and all I can find is links to this fonefunshop to get rid of simlock on my wife's x10 mini pro. Is it possible to do this any other way or do I just have to buy an unlock code from these guys?

Does anyone know any place (Toronto), or sites that is able to unlock my x10 mini (E10A)? i've tried mutiple sites like unlock4u, unlock zone, and cell unlocker, and they all gave me back a refund saying they aren't able to find a unlock code for my phone.
does anyone know anywhere that might be able to help me unlock this?

Upgrade to android 2.1 , root it using Super One Click or another tools. Then unlock it's bootloader like on instructions http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254225 .
