I can't watch Comcast Xfinity TV or videos on the touchpad browser. It's asking to use a different browser like IE, Firefox, and Safari. Is there a workaround for this?

Hi, I'm curious if anyone has been able to browse website which have HTML 5 content?
An example would be viewing a blog like Gawker, but viewing the embedded videos as HTML 5 video as opposed to flash (or viewing the iPad optimized version of a site). I've tried switching the user agent on my browser to emulate an iPad but the flash content still appears.
I'm using Dolphin, this video appears to play fine although I don't have the sound turned on at the moment.

Edit, just tried it with the standard browser too, it plays but seems to lag compared to Dolphin. I should point out that my standard browser will only open sites in their mobile version and not as 'desktop'.
Were you ever able to get "iPad" versions of websites?
Does anyone know how to stream video from sites that are either in flv for divix format? I've been trying to get streaming video from say, watchseries.eu, to work but its a no go for me. I'm not sure if this is a limitation of mobile browsers as its the same way with my android phone. I would think streaming media of various formats should be something that is supported as these devices are portable media centers. Is there perhaps a downloaded browser on the market that works better for streaming media content or an app that will capture a stream and play it? I'm currently using the stock os, stock browser, and have tried the beta release of chrome but still no luck.

The Chrome beta is crap when it comes to flash (if you read up on it, it's not supporting flash at all), and won't help you. So's the stock browser.
Dolphin HD plays some flash, also Skyfire will play some... but there will be streams that you just won't be able to play on the TP.
I tried the pilot of Vampire Diaries and it worked...
I think it might be hit or miss with the actual server that is hosting the stream. I found one for the show I was trying to watch and it loaded. Just left it with the circular loading symbol going and it started about 3-4min later.
I will try a different browser over the weekend and see if there better compatibility.
-Thanks!
Is anyone able to get Twonky to work on any of the JB ROMS?
The app starts up and I can get it to beam media from my network, but it won't beam any media from the twonky browser.
I have tried iMediaShare lite and it doesn't have any trouble, but you it doesn't offer a full browser.
Just looking for a way to stream videos from the web to my DLNA TV.
The app works great on my VZ Galaxy Nexus but the Nook's bigger screen really is needed.
Thanks.
I had this question on g3 section but no reply came. Trying my luck here.....
Need help to understand. What tech is used to cast from browser e.g. any video embeded, to smart tv. I guess it is dlna. I was able to do that on 5.0 however since the update (G3 D855) to 6.0 browser does not show this option anymore. I can still dlna youtube, any media on my harddisk by using smart share or bubble unp etc. Even soundcloud is working.....just the browser embeded videos are no more working.
This is a very strange problem. On my Chinese MXQ Pro TV box I get a black screen with only audio running YouTube on Puffin browser. What makes it even stranger is that the adverts at the top of the screen in desktop mode run perfectly. Once I click on a video it's just a black screen. Chrome, Opera and Lightning browsers all run YouTube perfectly and Puffin works correctly on my phone and tablet.
Desperately searching for a solution. Please help.
Any help please?
