try the Need For Speed Hot Pursuit for Adreno version. it worked for me
it's a matter of GPU (graphic processing unit)

I bought Asphalt from the Market, and somehow they managed to screw it up -_- had to get a refund.
After installing, opened the game and got a nice message that said: "Your phone is not compatible with Asphalt6".
Bought Need For Speed: Shift too, and after downloading like 5 times the data, all I get is corrupted graphics. No refund on this one tho
Try NFS:shift. It costs 0,10$ untill tomorow, and i find it awesome! No problems at all for me

Asphalt works great for me I got that nfs shift wot a game for the 10p price tag can't moan. Pro evolution 11 n 12 works great samurai 2 is a great game and works perfect there's loads I haven't come across a game that hasn't worked yet

i have almost all tegra 2 games, all great, works fine and fast, all awesome =)
scofilde buy it, all avaible to buy in gameloft(vacessing the site via your atrix original browser) or in the market

Riptide GP is pretty awesome. It shows off the phone's graphics power very well. It also reminds me of the PS2 game Splashdown from way back when.
T-Racer HD is available in the market now looks on par with Riptide

I have been hooked on Bang bang racing. Game looks awesome to show off THD, it also has the old mixed feel of Nintendos RC Pro-am and Super off road. Check it out, even has a lite version to try!!!

CM7 can't install THD games
Hoy guyz! I've installed CyanogenMod7.1 Ba2tF then Google Apps for CyanogenMod 7 md: 1647897d8ac3efb04723d2ad2c361a3f
And noticed that I can't install THD games from market. It says "Your device is not compatible with this application" (This is translation from russian lang as I use this lang on my CM7 Atrix)
Any ideas how to fix it?

If you are using chainfire3d, revert the settings back to is original state and it should recognize your phone.

yeah i do have modern combat sandstorm for our screen version even at 600 mhz you can play nicely but if you prefer to run it totaly smooth run at 729 mhz OC!
Where can you get a working need for speed apk for the optimus v? Or p500 if that one would work.

I run it on my MSI tablet, it's a 1GHZ cortex A8 with powerVR. the problem is firstly by the screen size (mine is 10" 1024*768) and secondly it doesn't run the 3D game, what I see is the menus and the teams, it'll be finished when starting the main game, any idea ?!
So which one is good in term of graphic and game play... FIFA12 or the PES2012 ??
@ goldiecalypso.. it's compatibility issue and not all apk suit the tablets big screen. You have to get the one design for tablets..

as you know, all apks are unofficial, i searched the market and easports.com for it but there's no official ver for it

pes 12 + FM2010 = ultimate football exp
pes 12 is a smaller but more optimized game...fifa 12 isn't official, but pes uses less then 100 mb
FIFA series ...i havent try...
i wanted to give it a try, google play store says its incompatible with my atrix
The game isn't anymore an Xperia Play exclusive...Xperia Play isn't much stronger that our Defy (almost the same CPU/GPU) so the game shouldn't run laggier than on Xperia Play...
Find it in play store...it's really a good game.
Please share the list of hd games that can be played in our Xperia U.!

I tested Asphalt 6 on my Xperia U( KA03 XperiaSSpeed)...The game is getting real stuck...it gets force closed...I don't know whether it is the problem of my sd card data, The app said it is not compatible, so i changed the model number to Galaxy S2, and installed SD card files of Xperia Play ....May be that might be my problem.. those who are gaming Aspalt 6 please share how they installed it..!!
shadowgun works, dead trigger works, nba jam works, minecraft works, gta 3 works, mass effect DOESN'T work. at least for me.

You had to do that with the first version I think, now it should just be able to play. But, it won't. You'll just crash at the Activsion logo and return to the launcher. Same when using cf3d with qualcomm plugin (at least for me).
By looking at the reviews even xplay owners are having the same issue, our best bet is to wait for a patch.

I bought Asphalt 6 on sale last year from the playstore and it did not work. Contacted Gameloft and they said i shouldn't have bought from Playstore because Defy is not compatible (facepalm). After a few months it become and worked ok. They even offered me a free game from Gameloft store (which shows you only games for your selected device).
So what i am trying to say is that Gameloft has a hard time making games work for everybody. I saw that Asphalt 7 does not run on Nexus 7 for example. So if you bought it wait, (can take a while) if you crack it.... just wait for the game to work and buy it... When it was $7 i believed you... now it's only $1...

Play store does limit visibility for incompatible games. I bought backstab and Nova 2 on my desire z when I had it and now I can't see them on defy. Also asphalt 6 has worked fine for me on every version from 1.0.8, if it shows in market its supposed to work. So gameloft can s*** my d*** if that's the bull they've rammed down your throat
Play Store says Spirits by Spaces of play (new user, can't post link, sorry) is not compatible with my phone (Bayer camera with 08.28. Defy+ build). Can anyone confirm it or maybe even have a tip for editing build.prop or something like that? Thanks.

Try editing it to a Samsung galaxy S, search it though I just done 12hrs at work so CBA to show you

Thanks, I did that. Used a build.prop editor from xda and changed the ro.product.model. Rebooted, got a blank screen after the CM logo
Pushed a backup build.prop with adb, didn't help. Reflashed kernel and CM10, I'm fine now. Exciting times for a noob like me

works very well on cm7-jordan (maniac103's latest builds anyway).hehehe.
900 some MB of SD data, 1.4GB once unzipped ouch! - no more space
for a safety nand backup on my sd card.. better go do some cleanup...
One more reason to stick with cm7 for me then...
