is there neway to put windows xp tablet or 98 on the athena. i mean just putting it out there. i rember my first sony viao had a 233 mhz processor and 32 megs of ram with a 4 gb hardrive. coste me 2300 at the time cause it was super slim. seeing that the specs of the athena fars out strips my first vaio, i even if we use an emulator it should still be better than my orginal vaio. just a thought
no
you would need arm compiled version of windows with drivers for all the athena's hardware etc etc, just not possible
Proabably not XP and 9x might be pushing it but you can run Windows 3 on a WindowsCE device using an emulator like PocketDOS.

Word running on Windows 3 running on an old HPC (From when PocketPC's (Handheld PCs) had keyboards before the lost them (PalmSizedPC) and then got them again!
Seems whilst pocketdos can only emulate a 286 so no win9x pDOSBox can emulate a 386. If you can find a recent enough version that doesn't need to be hacked for VGA support.
Just today i was going through qemu and how ppl are using it to emulate win95 and also 98 on Windows Mobile for example HD2 and i though i would try once, and its running !!!
But its completely useless as it is too slow. And everything is too small. But if you wanna see Win 95 just once on ur device like me. Its cool to see Win95 on Touch viva and gene

I did the thread about it a while back, ran it on my old Gene, but better hardware has come to the market since then. Theres no telling how much real estate Windows embedded might take up in the OS market.
Hello!
Got a little bored last night and decided to see how well I could make this work, and surprisingly, it works quite well.
For those of you eagerly awaiting WP7, here's a Windows Phone 7 news/devices app (pulls its data from WP7C, yes I have permission) that will list out all the rumored/confirmed Windows Phone 7 devices, right onto your WVGA/VGA Windows Mobile device.

-Links to wiki page on the device
-Kinetic scrolling

Let me know how the performance is, I've only run it on my HD2

Hopefully it's not considered too "commercial" but it's designed as a free database for Windows Phone 7 apps, and isn't meant to give off that impression. If it does, sorry, let me know and I'll remove it.
Hi everyone,
I am a Pokemon Go player frustrated by the news that this will stop supporting 32-bit systems soon.
In my case I have a Samsung J7 Neo SM-J701M cell phone that has 64-bit CPU but Android 32 firmware.
Is it possible to update it to make the game work?
I would appreciate comments about it!
Thanks a lot...

I see a lot of these request on the forum these days. Going to 64-bit with your device may be really hard, since to develop the 64-bits ROM you need the right drivers for the SoC (system on chip). Samsung has them but they wouldn't earn anything updating any of their actual devices to 64-bits. It's way better for them to make you buy a new device.
Have a good day tho

reinstall the graphic drivers of your PC
Never allow Windows Updates to do so, because they are always a basic, out of date driver. Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA make updating your drivers easy.
