I have ViewSonic G tablet. I am stuck and need this forums help. I paired my headphones (Sony DR-BT50) stereo headphones but I can't seem to get sound to play into them. I've search too many links on google and other forums only to be further confused.
What do I need to get the tablet to play sound through the Bluetooth stereo Headphones?
(I assume it is a possible lack of A2DP technology in the G-tab, if so, How can I install a2dp software to rectify the situation?)

Hi,
Has anyone tried the OMIZ headphones
http://www.blueunplugged.com/Products/OMIZ_Stereo_Bluetooth_MP3_Headset.aspx
Googling gave me the above solution for bluetooth headphones which can stream music from my XDA mini to the bluetooth headphones.
However I dont have any idea about what to look for when buying bluetooth headphones.
My requirements are
-- Head phones must recieve songs played by Windows media player on my XDA mini.
-- Head phones must have FM radio functionality
-- Head phones must have handsfree features to receive calls and stop music play during the call
Can any one suggest me a product. Can someone also tell the the technology features that I need to look for when buying product with the above requirements.
The head phones I got with my XDA mini are broken already. [/b]
I've tried the Zonet ZUB8100, which is basically the same as the OMIZ. Couldn't get them to pair with the Wizard in A2DP mode; they'd only show up as a handsfree device.
I've used the Zonet with the SX66 (Blue Angel); they were OK as stereo handphones (the Moto HS820 works much better, IMHO). The Zonet is the crappiest handsfree unit I've ever used; the noise cancellation is non-existent and the mic barely functions.
I have tried a number of ROM upgrades for my Himalaya, but I cant seem to find one that supports outputting music to my Plantronics P590 bluetooth headset. Using it for the telephone is fine, and it can receive music from my Nokia.
Any recomendations?
look at this and this

I have looked at those links, and even tried the bt upgrade that was posted in one of them, but I'm still not getting anywhere. The only change I got is that when I'm not using the phone, all the sound is muted and I can't control the volume anymore.
Has anyone out there upgraded a Himalaya in any way resulting in the ability to output audio to a stereo bluetooth headset?
from what i've heard, there was a succesful one with a motorola headset. it has A2DP support.
I'm hoping for a little clarification. As the title says, I'm using a Blueant Z9 headset (with A2DP) and it won't send music over the headset. The only way I can get it to work is with BTAudioToggle. Even then, if I get a call, it won't reconnect when the call ends to continue to play music. The headset pairs under bluetooth settings as "hands free".
Is there a way to get this to work yet, or is this still the only way to use music over a headset? I was under the impression that if the headset has A2DP, it should play the music and pair as "wireless stereo". I recently tried a Jabra BT8010, and that worked seamlessly, however, the size and fit didn't work for me.
No A2DP
The Z9 doesnt support A2DP so that would be why you are having the problems

James, thanks for the reply - I'm really not usually that dumb ...Don't know where I came across the info that made me think it did.
From what I can tell, A2DP is just a software protocol, correct? In other words, if Blueant chose to add this to a future firmware upgrade, could they do it, or does the hardware have to support it also?
Go to handango and down load Bluetooth music. I have the Blue Ant and it works fime
Try this freeware app A2DPToggle made by the same maker of bluetooth music before you pay for it.. might help..

Hi,
I have a UK T-Mobile HD2, is it possibe to play audio through my bluetooth headset. I have a Invisio G5 headset which works fine to make phone calls.
I just can't see which setting I have to change/select to play music via it.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
CJ
Your invisio G5 bluetooth headset does not support A2DP. You can't stream music into it other than making calls out of it!
If you absolutely must stream your music through to your mono bluetooth headset....

Don't expect anything quality-wise. it's going to be like listening a badly tape-recorded version of your music/movie
You're better off buying a pair of stereo bluetooth headphones that does support A2DP

Thanks Guys!
Thats what I'd feared. I may give the link a try, it's mainly so I can watch core player while at my desk at work without people seeing what i'm up to . stereo headphones would be nice but for to obvious.
thanks again!!!

Now to have another pop at t-mob UK about not releasing the latest rom!
just interested if this is possible, i have an app which stream stereo music to a mono headset (probs mixes both channels)
however if i had two mono headsets, would it be possible to stream L audio to one headset and R audio to another? i have an old motorola headset and a newer plantronics one
No as only one bluetooth device can be active at any one time.
you could
you could use a 3.5mm audio splitter but i think it will drain battery and as from your question you want wireless but might be usefull for you.
