Change default action of a notification, ie calendar? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777

Is there a way to change the action of selecting a notification - ie a Calendar notification in the status bar - if I select it, it will open the item in the Android Calendar - however I would like it to open a different calendar app - Business Calendar in this case.
Thanks,

Nope. You'll have to disable the default calendar notifications and have the other app notify.

I was afraid of that... yeah the "other" calendar app (Business Calendar) uses the Android Calendar for notifications, and doesn't have it's own notification system. Hopefully the dev will update the app soon.

[Q] Gmail icon

how come the gmail icon does not show numbers like the message icon or the mail icon?
It's not an active icon... But you can search the market for an active Gmail widget.
There is an app that will do this, I think its called Gmail Unread Count, or something like that.

[Q] Cleander app with Google sync & alarm

Hi All,
Here's the thing, if i set an event in my Google calender & set it to "Remind" me, then all it does is display it on notification area
Is there any option to have an actual alarm before the event ?
I was wondering if there is an app with real "reminder" (alarm) function for calender events set on your Goolge Calender (the one like on old Nokia phones)
Have you enabled notifications from Calender/settings/notifications?
I use Calendar Snooze for my reminders.

[Q] Google Calendar Widget planner

I have the Google Calendar planner widget on multiple devices. It only shows items coming up in the next couple of weeks, regardless of how many items are entered in the future. How do I get it to show, and scroll beyond this to show all future events?
Is there a better app widget that will sync to my Google calendar?

Shortcut to specific calendar? or how to view work/personal separately?

I recently managed to sync my work outlook calendar using MyPhoneExplorer (the only way i could do it dure to corp policy).. so now i have the events on my phone but i dont wnat to display my work calendar in my standard calendar app, so I uncheck it from display. What I'd like , is to have a separate shortcut (or app, or widget) that would show me JUST the work calendar.
So far, every time I try a different app or widget and select the work calendar, it changes it on a global level and so all my apps/widgets will now show only the work calendar. is there a way to separate these?

Widget with Google Reminder

I'm looking for an app with a customizable calendar widget that shows me the Reminder from Google Calendar and not only the main event. Every app I tried (Chronus, Simple Calendar and many more) only shows tasks I created as event, but if I create a Reminder none of the apps shows it. Only Google Calendar widget shows the Reminder, but is really ugly, I want something minimal or at least a bit customizable. Suggestions? Thanks
Me too!!
