I just compared the back of the phone in the picture with mine. The pictured one looks to be made of a cheaper plastic than mine and/or as deeper indents. Anyone else notice this?

A picture with the phone actually ON and WORKING would help
I'd stay away from it, seems shady. The seller possibly could of found it on the floor sans battery, and attempted to sand down rough knicks from it being dropped.
Also there's ribbons for the antenna and other things that go right where it's sanded down and you don't know if that's going to affect the signal or not.

If it's stolen, and was replaced through att insurance, I believe att places a permanent imei block on the phone. If that is the case, the phone will only function unlocked on TMo, sans 3 and "4" G data.
That price definately falls in the too-good-to-be-true category. If they don't want the phone, its been out less than 30 days, why don't they return it. Very fishy.

I would walk away.
I would at least get the imei number and call at&t and make sure it isn't stolen.

Kinda scary. I would suggest going with the imei idea. If its legit and you don't mind the damage it would be a gamble still.

Does anyone else have this issue? The middle clip on the power side wont clip down properly. I had to trim a tiny bit off the clip hole in the phone to get it to stay down. Even then its still bulges a bit.

Same problem here,went to Att they say I need to contact Samsung,it feels real uncomfortable with the back cover wiggling
I also have the same problem. I thought I broke the battery door.

Mine does it too, and Samsung will not replace it under warranty for whatever reason. They want me to pay to replace it, but don't know if the replacement part has the nfc. AT&T offered to replace the phone under warranty as I am well past my 30 days. It just pops off on its own, real annoying.

Same problem...glad someone made a thread now I know its a known issue...
Doesn't bother me much just makes the phone feel cheap...if I spend 300 bucks on an awesome phone I want the back to clip in lol

Mine is OK. But I went out and bought the black hard cover. It looks cool and protects the screen while in transit.

The reason it happens is because you've broken either one or several of the clips on the cover itself. Happens on mine too.

No. I have had three notes and 2 out of 3 had the problem and the covers were all fine. It just depends on if you get a solid one.

So, I dropped my phone just now and spider webbed the glass pane. Now it looks like most of the iPhones I see in the wild. The screen and touch matrix are still functional as I'm typing on the phone now. I'm just wondering if I should sbf back to stock before I go and see if insurance will get it replaced. I'm on cm9 right now.

oh man that sucks. May I suggest the otterbox defender. I have thrown mine across the room on numerous ocasions and still looks brand new when I take the case off. Also I have never used my insurance but I would sbf just in case but thats just me.

insurance is the same price if you told them you lost it. then you can keep it for testing roms and such before hand... just a thought.

Just make sure if you told them you still have the phone (didn't report it lost/stolen) that you send it back asap or they're going to hit your bill with a huge fee.

I would just replace the screen myself. It's probably a lot easier than you think and you can get the kit off amazon for $20. So you'll save money and you won't end up with a refurbished phone.

I bought a white note...a day later I went to Att and bought a specks case per the sales Rep. They only had this and a flip case. Ok so I bought it because I'm moving to another state for work and wanted a case for the move. I bought the case on sat afternoon Sunday evening I was going to put my 32 g card in and I notice my phone is stained black. Wtf. The case bled into my back cover. I'm soo pissed. Plus the case is all scratched up and it hasnt been 24hrs yet. Now I'm trapped in a small town with no Att center around until i get to my new home. Don't buy this over price case....

Maybe they'll let you swap the back with a returned/defective white Note that they might have in the back in which they haven't sent back to the service center yet. Assuming they have any, of course.

btw just a tip, a alcohol prep helped get the paint transfer off on my white note, but i had ghost armor over mine. i would imagine it would work just as well on a row back
That's pretty bad after only one day. A lot of cases give me the same feeling. Some of the slim fit cases have a lot of dyes and are hard, rough plastic inside. You need a case from your case now.
Thanks guys for letting me vent. I honestly know its not then end of the world and there's an easy fix its just we pay so much money to these companies and then great people like the xda members makes them better and find work around to make them even better. Why aren't these companies doing that? We should get what we pay for. Ok I'm done venting ill just return it and get a new back.

They tried to sell me one of those when I got my note. I told them I would get a case later.
I have the same case.... I've had it for the past three months.... It has protected my phone past my expectations.... I removed my case and my phone has no scratches whatsoever.... I would rather scratch up my case than my 500 phone.... And believe me, case doesn't look pretty....

I've seen mention of the bumper case in a few posts... is there anywhere to purchase it online? Or for that matter, anywhere to purchase it besides an AT&T store?
I haven't found it on Belkin's web site and the only other sites I've seen it on said it was "Out of Stock". I passed on buying it in the store because it was $35 and I know it isn't worth that much!

I agree it's not worth $35. I bought it at the at&t store the other day, and stopped using it today. The tiny amount of extra width it added to the phone was just too much for me. The OG feels much better in hand without a case. It is a little too slippery, though.

The Belkin case is a cheap piece of crap. I've already managed to crack the hard plastic shell taking it off to clean. And yes, it is very slippery.

Hey if you want to tell Verizon screw off, and get the same battery door as the rest of the world, then buy one from ebay. I contacted this seller and they say it has the Samsung logo and all. So I ordered one for my white Note 3, I'll post it when I get it. But here is the link if you want one. They are worth the price in my opinion, the Verizon battery cover looks horrible.

It fits perfect, it's for sure the original back no doubt about. Even had a protective film around it and a cut out where most companies brand the phone with printing. Highly recommend it for anyone. If you were nervous to buy cause you thought it was fake it's definitely not.

So I have to say I checked out a black one yesterday and my new back feels very similar if not exactly the same as the black one. Maybe they changed the material for printing on the White one when the carriers branded the phones, but it's also not as shiny as the old back. Looks and feels better, win win.

Yeah that's what everyone says but I just compared this new one with a Verizon black one and it feels exactly the same. This new one with Samsung branding is a different build then the White Verizon one. Even the stamped code on the back is different by one number. When you hold it with no phone on it, you can feel it's a fraction thicker. I'm really happy with this back

Nice cover! If I ever run my phone naked, I'd scoop one of these up. But since I have a case on my phone, you'll never see the back cover so it'd be a waste of $20. Good find though.
