I have a few apps i developed and would like to put free versions on the market. I would like to incorporate ads, but am having a hard time setting them up. Does anyone know of a simple tutorial that details step by step in easy to understand language? I am a freshman majoring in Software dev and has been fiddling with android for awhile, but is having difficulty with these ads. Also i am using eclipse helios with the latest sdk. Thank you.

Hey guys i hope someone can help me out. iv been a longtime user and hacker of android os but never got into the app side of things but now im looking to create an app for a website forum. its not my website or forum im just trying to help them out and said i would look into it. but having no previous coding experience etc i need your help if you can spare some wisdom.
The forum is a simple machines forum which iv been told is a pain since not all that compliant withmobile format.
Basicly i want an app similar to that of the xda one. on start up the company logo then once in the list of categories followed by threads. with an option for people to log in obviously. thats all i would need just now anyway. just something that would allow a better rendering of the forum on mobile.
Im sure there must be something that needs to be done from the forum owners side to enable mobile rendering but Any feedback would be great.
Thanks guys and girls

Tapatalk hosts many forums. I believe that you can contact Tapatalk or visit their website and get instructions on how to make the forum compatible with Tapatalk. While Tapatalk is a paid app, it's a lot easier than building an app.
And you can get Tapatalk for free on GetJar. Don't know how long the promotion will last, but if you get it up and running that would be something you could let the forum members know.

I need some work done....SIMPLE coding work for Android. I would like to explore the notion of making it cross platform to iPhone too. Here is the thing... I am new at Android programming.
I was using Eclipse and found out you could create apps with Adobe Dreamweaver. I started using it as my app is 100% web based and have MOST of it finished. I don't know how to integrate Facebook and Twitter feeds the way I would like. I also have some general questions.
Any idea on where to go to find coders for hire or someone that would help me via teamviewer or something similar? Thanks in advance.
Anyone? Maybe? Thank you.
One final bump.....

Not ashamed of the word cause everyone has to start off somewhere.
Yes I am new to android development and i really could use some pointers.
I have 0 experience with Java ... and i am trying to learn the easy way at least to get me started.
i've heard of a product thats supposed to make things super easy called "Livecode" ... its supposed to be multi-platform and they just released their android version of the product.
please make recommendations / advise.
thank you.
One thing that helped me was the newboston tutorials on youtube

Thanks for the reply, DROIDRAZ.
The thing is i am not too keen on learning java at the moment. That would consume so much time.
I think something like livecode would be a good solution for my current situation.
So before i go and purchase livecode is there anything else like it that you guys may recommend?
I've learn quite a few from newboston YouTube video, as well as from Stackoverflow.
And we have our own forum user creating easy tutorials with explanation for us ->

Hey, sorry if this is in the wrong thread!
I was just wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to some brilliant beginners tutorials for developing?
I just can't make heads or tales of how to do stuff, because I can't find a good basis to start on.
Thanks!
Hi
The best thing to do is learn Java. Google Java tutorial and then take your pick from the many thousands that shall appear.
Once you've learned Java then you can go to the android developer site and begin to learn all about how android apps are made.

Thanks for the advice. Got any tips on where I can find good tutorials? The ones I'm finding aren't really tutorials, but more just telling you about programming terminology.
