[Q] Most strange issue after flashing TntMod(0.4) - Folio 100 General

Hey guys,
I have some problem with my Folio (surprised?).
I flashed a lot of Roms on it but the last time when i flashed the TntMod something went wrong...
The flash was smooth but on the second reboot my Tablet storage seems bricked and when I tried to flash another Rom I noticed that my recovery came back to stock (before i had CWM).
It doesn't matter to me.
But when I try to flash something (recovery, gapps, another rom, update of tntmod, partition table exc) it doesn't work: it prints a lot of errors such as "E: can't mout CACHE: recovery/log" or similiar and then "installation aborted".
So, i tried to do that with fastboot but adb (and fastboot script also) don't recognize the tablet thought windows recognize the devices like "ADB device" (I installed the adb drivers before).
Maybe it's because the Tntmod doesn't keep the settings about Debugging mode (everytime i reboot the Folio i find this set disabled, USB mass storage doesn't work and windows doesn't recognize ADB interface thought Debugging mode is on ).
The icing on the cake is that i red somewhere about bootloader mode and now my screen is totally black (neither toshiba logo ) and windows recognizes it like "APX"... I found nvflash utility and driver (oh my god Folio is recognized by dos script O_O it's incredible!) but when i launch a command nvflash says: "Nvflash started".... End, nothing else happen...
So, any suggestion about some (or every) of these problem? =\
Please start with the way to exit from the bootloader mode (APX) =\

up is quiet urgent

Are you in APX mode?

I tried it too but it didn't work o.o i think there is another way to get out from apx mode, no one knows it?

You can reboot via Nvflash but I'm not familar with it.

I saw the Dexter 3d where he had a problem like mine.
Another user dumped the bct for him but i'm not understanding how i can use that partitiontable..

Oh...that's the problem. You lost partitions on your device. You need to reflash them with Nvflash but, I said before, I'm not familar with Nvflash, sorry.

Help me install a custom recovery...please and thank you

I know this may seem like a dumb question but here it goes...I have unlocked my Prime with the unlock tool. I am trying to install custom recovery using fastboot but cannot get it to work. I get "error: cannot load (recovery here)" I've tried twrp and cwm with the same results. I'm on .21 (not rooted) and attempting this in osx 10.7.2 Lion.
When I put the tablet into fastboot it says "starting fast boot mode USB download protocol" and just sits there. Is that normal?
Anyone out there complete this process running OSX Lion? I've read that there are issues with this os and adb though I don't comprehend if this applies to me or not...

I don't know about your error but it's normal that your prime just sits there in fastboot mode

Try this:
transformerprimeroot com/transformer-prime-recovery/how-to-install-clockworkmod-recovery-5-8-2-0-on-transformer-prime/
There is also a video to make it even easier
That's the tutorial I followed. I'm going to try it with a PC from work today. Maybe I'll have better luck with that. Thanks

Prime soft brick, ADB not recognizing tablet.

I was just wiping my tablet to get it ready to turn in to best buy so they can exchange me for the Infinity, and I'm just doing my final data wipes of the tablet and I chose to wipe it from the settings menu. Since I'm rooted and have CWM Recovery, when I wiped, the tablet was probably looking for the stock recovery and won't boot back into the ROM anymore it just continually boots back into recovery. I followed the unbrick guide in the Dev section. But only issue is that. ADB won't recognize my prime. Also, I have nothing in my internal storage, so I can't flash a ROM...
Any advice?

Try installing universal naked drivers on the PC and try ADB again.
Ok, I'll try that. Thanks for the reply!

I ran into the issue...took me 3 days to get my PC to recognize the prime....tried universal drivers, 3 different computers...and then one day it magically appeared

Dang, well hopefully I can fix it before my mom leaves to Chicago on Friday. (I'm passing down my Prime to her since she got me the Nexus 7)
Thanks for the info though!

So i tried to work on my prime earlier today, and i drained my battery on purpose (it only had like 20% left)
And when I went to power it on after charging it for like 20 minutes, it does not turn on. The only feedback I get is the LED on the power button blinking 3 times.

I had the same thing happen to me. Once you get your drivers installed and adb recognizes it you'll be fine. Its literally a 5 minute fix. What recovery are you running btw?
Edit. Saw in op you're running CWM.

Now, when I do get the drivers installed and ADB does recognize my Prime, what commands do need to type? I'm assuming "adb push" and push a ROM? I'm not that great with ADB
Sent from my Rooted Nexus 7 using xda premium
Yea, the command is
Adb push directorywhereromislocated\rom.zip /sdcard/rom.zip
You may have to use /system/data if you get an error though
Also, i put the rom @ C:\ because for some reason, it wouldn't push from the adb folder, so my command looked like this
adb push C:\rom.zip /sdcard/rom.zip
Edit: If you're using windoze

Save yourself a lot of grief, put the rom in the same folder on the computer as your adb.exe is, this eliminates the need to put in the proper path. So then it is adb push [name of rom].zip /sdcard/
or
adb push [name of rom].zip /sdcard/media/
If this is the first time you are trying this, I would suggest trying to push a small text file first, this way you are not wait 5 minutes to find out it failed.
Note do not use the brackets, and for ease of use, right click the rom file, go to properties and copy the name of the file then right click and paste it in the command window, this way you won't mistype it.
Also proper use of the cmmand window is go to the folder where adb.exe is, press and hold the shift button then right click in the window and select open command propmt here.

ODIN does not detect phone

Hey all. Decided to go back to Froyo stock. When I try to ODIN in download mode, it doesnt detect the phone!
Code:
MacPro:~ nomadman$ heimdall detect
Failed to detect compatible download-mode device.
I'm no OS X Mountain Lion. I tried ODIN 1.7 in WinXP virtual machine and it doesnt detect it either. I know the USB cables work. I use it to transfer my backup from the vibrant to my OS X desktop. I also tried using all the USB ports on the machine. Do you think it's because the vibrant is using a jelly bean custom rom? I've been at this for 3 days without getting anywhere.
in OS X Mountain Lion and virtual XP, i installed Kies Mini and all I get is "please connect your mobile phone" in Download Modes.
HELP?
edit: resolved
Have you tried nexus S drivers? Sometimes they are needed when on a ICS or jellybean rom.

I have no come across nexus S requirements. But i'll download the driver from samsung and see if Odin and Kies detects the phone in download mode. There is no problem detecting the phone when it booted up. adb detects the phone fine.
the nexus s has the same driver for the t-mo vibrant. Samsung_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_v1.5.14.0
I installed that in windows several times.
Have you put the phone in download mode? Odin or Heimball wont detect it otherwise. Sorry if you have but you didn't mention it. Im not familiar with mac pc so not really sure, make sure it has admin privileges also.

Yes the phone is always on download mode every time I try to Odin or Heimball. It's just OSX or winXP doesn't recognize the phone at all. I really think I'm stuck without a downgrade option.
Is it possible to flash a zip file from ICS recovery to an earlier recovery so I can flash a froyo rom? This is really irritating.. Last ditch effort, i'm installing ubuntu on VM and see if I can odin that way. If not, then OS X is the issue and I have to find a PC to odin.

No, there are no stock flashable zip files. You can't go backwards, it will soft brick your phone. I have heard a few people say they have flashed from JB to Froyo but I personally have never tested it. Supposedly you can wipe data, wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache, then format system under mounts and storage, then flash a froyo kernel and then a froyo rom but I don't recommend trying that. I would try a windows pc, sounds like its the mac having issues, not the phone.

Need help, no os on Nexus, only TWRP

As mentioned I stupidly wiped everything on my nexus 4 and now only have Team win recovery project left. No os. I tried to adb push, but it gave me a protocol failure and I saw a solution with fastboot, but I don't seem to have that either.
I have tried a lot of things I found on similar threads, but none worked for me. I don't have the knowledge to try anymore. Your help would be very much appreciated.
Thank you very much.
I'm not familiar with your phone. But can you flash it to stock using odin?

What is Odin? Sorry I know very little about this
So basically the problem is I have no rom on my phone so I cannot flash anything. I would need to get the files onto my phone.

How did you get TWRP on it without odin?
Odin is for Samsung, don't bother trying on your n4
Right now you need to sideload a ROM (+gapps usually)
Boot to recovery, choose sideload
Then use adb to sideload the ROM from your pc
Or you can always use fastboot to flash the ROM as well

Thanks I just tried sideload. And I get a protocol fault somewehere between 0 and 40% of de procces. I looked around but I cannot seem to get to recognize my phone with "adb fastboot" how exactly should I do that?
after trying every setting and driver sideload somehow worked. Thanks sooooo much:
You made me a happy man!

[Q] Driver Issues

I've searched and not found anyone with my exact issue so please forgive if this redundant.
I am unlocked and s-off with CWM v6.0.4.5. I've been on CM11 nightlies and unable to get my pc to see the phone(vista 32bit). I flashed back to CM10.2 and could then see the phone in windows. I wanted to install CM11 again with a clean start so I moved Rom and gapps to the pc and wiped and formated EVERYTHING in CWM intending to then sideload CM. Now I cannot get my pc to see the phone at all. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling HTC sync, tried different usb cables and ports and tried a different computer(windows 7 64bit) all to no avail.
Are there any tricks that can be done with drivers to make the pc see the phone or is there any other way for me to get files back on the phone. Any help is greatly appreciated.
In settings goto storage. Then open the menu in storage (either the 3 dot menu or the hardware button if remapped) and you will be able to pick USB COMPUTER CONNECTION

Thanks for the reply. I probably should have clarified that there is not a bootable rom on the device. The device has the bootloader and recovery and nothing else on it at all. To farther clarify, my pc does see my device as HTC6435LVW, it simply won't find the drivers even though they are installed and when I type "adb devices" in a command prompt it doesn't find my phone. Also tried putting the phone into fastboot and searching for "fastboot devices" and nothing comes up that way either.
