Excuse a dumb question? If I bought a Tab (wifi only) in the US for use in the UK are there any issues to worry about? Prices in the US are around 30% cheaper.
Any issues with different firmware? If so could I write a Europe/UK firmware over a US one without rooting?
Is there anything in the hardware/software that is regionally specific?
(I know the US charger will come with a strange plug on it but that's not an issue!)

I didn't if to post it here or in the t-mobile forum but I just wanted to know...
Is there a way to find out what T-Mobile version I own?
Whether it's US/UK/GR ... ?
I didn't buy it yet but I'm from Israel and I wanted to know before I buy it
so I'll exactly what updates to download...
and one more thing, what's better? Normal version or the t-mobile one ?
I know the t-mobile one is faster but I read there are some new exclusive updates to the normal version so I don't really know.. ?
Hello all Im about to buy a Samsung Galaxy S2 from Expansys USA for 656 us dollars but I have a couple questions if you dont mind helping out.
1. Is that model number above any different than any other i9100? Can it still flash the same ROMs, and flash back to stock method?
2. Have any of you bought from Expansys USA? How are they? And how was the experience.
3. For USA users, hows cell reception, im on AT&T.
Thanks! From hopefully a future i9100 developer.
hey all,
As the samsung galaxy tab 10.1 is still not yet (if ever) released in Australia, I'm looking to buy one overseas in Hong Kong as a friend is currently there and can bring one back for me.
Are there any issues with warranty as the SGT10.1 is not released in Australia?
Is there anything that needs to be done with the device before it leaves Hong Kong? (registration? etc.)
Are there any problems in general with buying it in HK for use in Australia?
I'm getting the 16gb wifi only model.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, please reply soon as my friend is leaving soon!
[EDIT]: sorry, just realised i should have posted this in the Q&A section.

I live in Hong Kong and I think if u only purchase the tablet for personal use, there is no need to do anything before leaving.
I am not sure about the warranty. If I purchase the tab from somewhere else, I cannot bring it for warranty in Hong Kong. I am not sure about the Australia case.
Hope it helps.
Hello,
I'm the happy owner of an Acer Iconia Tablet and I want to upgrade to a smaller or faster android tablet with included 3G. I will use it on Brazil, so I need an AT&T compartible 3G.
I was putting my hopes on the Transformer Prime, but wifi only is a dealbreaker for me. Now I'm looking for a Tegra 2 device but can't find many tablets AT&T compartible AND unlocked to be used with any carrier. The few I have found (like some imported Samsung tablet 10.1) goes as high as $800 on ebay.
Does anyone know a good 3G AT&T compartible tablet and where I can get it?
Thanks

Hi Members, I know this is pretty much like asking how long is a peice of string..?
...but in the off chance that some member is in the know, is the EU/International version of the Edge 30 Pro probably the finished version that the UK market will get ?(apart from charger brick pin differences)
Do any forum members think that the frequency banks will be identical, or lhave ess or more bands, and will an EU international model still have warranty cover in the UK?
If there are any thoughts, I'd appreciate the input.
Regards
