had two bluetooth headsets working ok. Moto infinty was for phone audio & Sony MW600 was for media audio. Now i can't get either to connect to the media audio. both will connect for phone audio, but no media. If i turn off the phone audio and have media audio on, neither will connect at all. If both phone & media audio are selected, device will connect to phone audio only. Can't fiqure out what happened. Am I missing something, somewhere else other than buetooth settings to change settings?
btw.. I have multiple bluetooth devices, would plural for that be I have blueteeth's?

Bluetooth audio during phone conversations (Jawbone headset) = no problems

Bluetooth audio from Youtube or Movies = no luck
Anyone else experiencing this?
It might be related to the app. The jawbone likely only uses the hands free bluetooth profile that the phone and google voice may acceptable use, however the other apps may only work with a stereo bluetooth profile which is absent with your jawbone.
Just a thought. There are apps that will route all audio through your headset. Might give one of those a try.
The connected device should show "connected to phone and media audio" if it supports A2DP. If it doesn't, only phone-esque audio plays through the device.

Thank you. This Jawbone was upgraded to support A2DP. I used it with my Atrix without fail. Now, it doesn't work with A2DP on the SGSII AT&T... and yes, it does show "Connected to phone and media audio"... strange... ideas, anyone?
Every time I turn on my bluetooth headset, both the phone audio and the media audio get routed to the headset. I want to keep the phone audio through the headset, and the music through the aux-out to the car stereo.
Every time I disable the profile for media audio on bluetooth, it reverts back when I re-enable it.
Any ideas?
Do you know of any application that manages your bluetooth connections?
Here's what I'm talking about, I have bluetooth headphones, several speakers and my car that all are connected to my phone and I'm having several small issues.
- As soon as I turn on bluetooth it tries to automatically tries to connect to these certain speakers, I don't want that and don't know how to stop it.
- If I'm in my car, my phone connected to my car for calls and I'm listening to music through the headphone jack but it will automatically connect to a set of bluetooth speakers in my home when get home and pull into the driveway. So music will play through those speakers instead of my headphone jack. I obviously don't want that either.
-Titanium Backup never restores my bluetooth connection either so if there is an application that can save those too that would be helpful.
Nothing? Any idea if I have to just deal with these issues?
I got a rig that lets me connect my phone via bluetooth to my stock stereo in the car. Slight problem. No phone audio. Media only.
Alas I need to talk too. So I connect my iclarity speaker. This works great after I turn off media audio on the iclarity I get music to the car bluetooth and phone audio to the iclarity.
Problem. I have to manually do this every single time. Because the iclarity takes both phone and media audio links when it connects.
Is there an app that will let me assign profiles to bluetooth devices so I can limit my iclarity to phone audio only permiting my car adapter to take media audio so I dont have to do it manually each time?
Does anyone know of a way or even an App that will route audio from separate source on the device to different outputs? For exampe, when i have my S4 in the car dock, I'd like to have phone audio get routed to my Bluetooth headset and any other audio like Pandora or GPS directions to go to the car speakers?
thanks
You should be able to go into bluetooth just press and hold the bluetooth to ogle and it will take you there you should be able to hit your paired devices each time you push each one it will change your audio output to each paired device. I do it every day with mine, I use headset for phone and wireless headphones for media I.e music Netflix Pandora etc etc
