Hi Sorry if this is not the correct place to post.
I have a chinese made tablet, it id's itself as Crane BC1003,
Some how it has lost its system partition, Normal boot it stuck on bootloader,
Recovery boot i get the android robot laid facedown with a big red cross on his back, but adb will see the device
1, Does anybody have a copy of the rom for it? or a rom that will work?
2, Can i install it if found via adb, there is no system partition so i cannot use ADB shell command as it can't find system/bin
3, full instruction on how to flash/install it.
All help to get this going again will help
i am prepaired to try anything

found out pad is a flytouch 7 / supapad vii,
found a firmware download and install guide http://blog.chinistore.com/2012/tutoriel/tuto-firmware-mise-a-jour-de-la-flytouch-7-superpad-vii/ will have to use google translate to read if you don't speek french
there is a download link for the firmware also.
Try flash stock rom via odin.

I have the same issue with one of these; I can not for the LIFE of me get it to flash a new ROM, though! Can not get past the "dead" Android...

Find me a stock ROM. In a format Odin can flash. Please. Because I've been trying for 3 days, and can NOT find one.

Odin is only for samsung devices.
You cannot flash other than samsung devices and even if you do so, it will end up that your phone/tablet gets bricked.

after i installed this rom ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2002376 ) on my XPERIA MINI PRO the touchscreen is not working anymore..ill try to back on stock rom gb and ics but theres nothing happen...what should i do???please help me....

I lost all my apps and contacts and it wasn't rootet...so i have to use the backup. it was a nice try! xD

PS: I offer one of my friends 15€ too root my phone, but he has not made it. So if someone show me a way to root my phone i will donate him 15 €, because it now already more than 2 weeks that I'm tring...it is boring -.-

can you tell which app you used for backup?? I tried carbon but it's telling me to connect to computer via usb.. then I tried mybackup pro.. **** of an app it is.. it's just backin up my apps and not app data.. I love titanium backup but it needs root.. to try rooting methods I need to backup.. any app which can backup app+data on a unrooted phone?

i don't do it whit an app....i just instaled the phone program in my computer and whit this i can make a backup.... just connect per USB and choose the backup file....
and sry at moment i have't time to test the root program... i will test it later and let you know if its works

I can't tell you whether it will work or not because I don't have a live with walkman to try it myself.. you should look for comments for the success report..
any time your phone gets bricked you get flash original software.. so don't worry about phone getting bricked..
My Phone is Lava IRIS 454 ( rooted ) with CWM.
I installed a font without making BACKUP
My Phone crash now, booy up and Stuck in the LAVA LOGO.
I can boot into CWM.

First off, as you can tell from my join date, I am a newbie to android devices, but I am experienced in flashing and installing ROMs for my friends. There are a few questions I want to ask and hope it will be answered.
1. I am using LENOVO A516 phone, as far as I know this phone is made in china and there is no custom rom on this forum (yet, maybe?) I even tried to search my device on the "type to find your device" box and my phone model is not listed.
2. I understand that this phone uses a MTK65xx bootloader, so if there is a rom for another phone that uses the same bootloader, will my device be flashable with the rom?
3. Is there anyway I can make my own custom rom for my phone? I'm thinking of making a custom KitKat rom for this phone as Lenovo does not provide firmware upgrades.
Thank you very much to anyone that is willing to answer these questions. I am irritated by the lack of customer support Lenovo has, hence the decision to make my custom rom.

Hello, first of all, thanks for relying, so far there is only one custom rom there and I don't understand russian. (google translate is still bad). I would like to see a kitkat udate for this phone

Me too, I'm using Lenovo A516! Rooted, Overclocked, and Ramexpanded.
I'm having no problem, and I think you don't need recovery image..cause you don't even need to update your phone to kitkat.

Just search " ideafriend apk " on google or 4shared.com
The stock version of a516's ideafriend is v1.10.100 but u can download some updated version. I have a copy but i cant attach it here, sorry.

Hi. I factory reset my a516 because i want to recover some system app i uninstall which is the contact manager （ideafriend apk）. But it didnt came back, so i cant recieve/send, dial and see my contacts and messages but i manage to get some copy of the apk in the web and install it.
My phone book and messaging able to use like normal, but when i try to use dialer or call logs, it will closed immediately. Everytime I restart it will prompt ContactManager has stopped.
Pls help me

Just install the apps in the playstore CDTOSD with a logo of a nintendo controller if your phone is rooted then it has no problem sa transfer your files to sd

Hi . I have a huge prob...My phone is not working.
I just wanted to change my launcher from kit lat launcher (from google play) to othe original lenovo launcher installed in the phone...
Then a dialog box appeared: "lenovo.ideapad is not responding"
I hit ok but the still got the same error .
I turned it off. When it powers on, it is just stuck with the boot logo.. I can only see the animation logo of lenovo...
All I can access is meta mode which is all in "Chinese" so I can't understand a thing.
I have no idea how this happened all of a sudden.
Can I still restore it?
Please help.

dude. U can use google chrome to translate the website to English no need to use google translate. or better search for this video on utube.

Sir?!.. Allegro ROM is pretty much good. This custom ROM includes:
Firmware + TWRP, SP Flash Tool v3.1316.0.150, apdb + modemdb Languages: en , RU , BN, CS, de, EL, es, FA, FR, Hi, HU, in, it, IW, ko etc.
So, if there's any here who have problem about the RAM usage and APP Storge this custom ROM is worth FLASHING hehe lol. . .
U will also notice ur phone is running much smoother than before.

Try flash ALLEGRO ROM, then install camera 360 ultimate app. But i think it doesn't really do auto focus haha lol. (i already tried it, it looks normal for me.)

I think its not possible to transfer app to sd with this kind of ROM ("app2sd not supported" this notification will pop up if u try to transfer app+data to sd card. I experienced this many times when i try installing app2sd etc.. i do experiment with a lot of app in appstore but nothing works)
BUT then after i flash my phone to a custom ROM (allegro ROM) my problem solved even the app storage thing?the primary storage before is phone. NOW it will become ur SD card is primary storage. i hope i can help u as much as possible. the reason im doing this comment is because at first im so regretful buying this phone. it has too many problems haha (in my opinion) anyway .. just pm me or reply on this comment i'll try my best to help u too. p.s RAM problem also solved.

Sir?!.. Allegro ROM is pretty much good. This custom ROM includes:
Firmware + TWRP, SP Flash Tool v3.1316.0.150, apdb + modemdb Languages: en , RU , BN, CS, de, EL, es, FA, FR, Hi, HU, in, it, IW, ko etc.
So, if there's any here who have problem about the RAM usage and APP Storge this custom ROM is worth FLASHING hehe lol. . .
U will also notice ur phone is running much smoother than before.

Try flash ALLEGRO ROM, then install camera 360 ultimate app. But i think it doesn't really do auto focus haha lol. (i already tried it, it looks normal for me.)
