Another thing you can do that is even easier (although it is great to learn how to do things the "hard" way) is to use this Tweaks.apk. It was made by Romanbb for his bulletproof ROM.
One you flash the zip go to Settings>Tweaks>clock options>Choose clock color.
This feature is already in most of the custom ROMs here, but here it is.
This color blue?

I upload my roms apk's that uot kitchen asks for. It will be systemui.apk, htc.resource.apk and framework-res.apk.
Right now I have androdian status bar, miui status bar icons and custon battery. Before miui icons I had blue sense 3d icons.

Have you tried UOT? It now supports qHD status bar and pulldown menu. You could easily make one for whatever opacity your looking for.

So I'm on beastmod and I love the AOSP look but there are few things that bug me such as the blue icons in the settings menu. I want to change it to the stock gingerbread menu kinda like what is in the fourthbar rom. Any one know how to edit things like this? Or were they are located? I was thinking I could just take the settings menu out of the fourthbar rom and put it in beast mod

i think the icons you can change in rom toolbox are only the status bar icons. im looking to change the settings menu icons from the florescent blue to the stock AOSP grey.

I seen something rather interesting on a er...iphone that I wonder is possible on a android
any ideas?
That is very possible it can be put in there as part of the background or as an icon...
what he said^^^^^
i figured it was possible i've been trying to find the means to do so.
You can do on a skin or systemui
Just decompile and add as a overlay on status_bar_background. 9(be carefull its a .9) or make as an icon of some sort (ei wifi, etc)
