At least there is new activity on the Flyer HC leak. I"ve upped my optimism a bit

Yea I have about 14 days to return this Flyer if nothing offical is mentioned its going back. Then Samsung 7.0 Plus is the next move.

Good news that Tmobile supports it.

This has got to be one of the most redundant threads I have seen on XDA.
Why not ask users to confirm that are alive also?

Could be useful for developers maybe...
knowing how may users that are posting and downloading, actually own one.
And which versions are the most used ones.

As I am new to HTC and I am attempting to learn through reading I apologize for my lack of knowledge. If you could explain what differs beaten the two it would be appreciated

They mark down your serial and void your warranty if you use the htc tool. Revolutionary can be removed before sending in for service, preserving your device warranty.

Correct me if I am wrong but us best buy wifi versions are voided no matter what

People has reported that they have rooted and even bricked their Flyer and still received warranty service from HTC. But any vendor reserves the right to refuse you warranty at their discretion so you mileage may vary.

Turn HDTV into an Android Tablet

WOW. Look at this dongle that makes any HDMI display an Android device with BT, wifi, etc.

It'd be extremely awkward walking into a meeting with a 60" tablet.
"Don't mind me guys, this is just helping me become more efficient....now, where is the closest power outlet??"
Can't wait to see what custom ROMs come out for that beast...

WiFi ROM?

I noticed that there is an official wifi ruu available now. Can someone make a WiFi based ROM? That would be awesome.
Lee has intimated that he intends on doing so I believe

Honey Pot is based off the wifi RUU incase you want to try it out

My Flyer just lost its wings

My wife dropped it while it was charging right on the USB port. Guess ill just wait for 7" Google Nexus, I don't want to pay $150 for repair. Unless anyone here has any Diy tips.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using xda premium
Is the charger the only thing that broke? Or did the port get screwed too?
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda premium
All the actual contacts came out on both port and charger. I seen on another post how to fix it with a factory replacement part and then super glue the back cover back on. But Im still debating if I should sell as is, cause everything works still.

Here's a link to a thread in the accessories forum. Someone is fixing a view but the part they found was for a flyer, $35 if I remember correctly.

I'm not to sure since there is a million rumors, but one rumor I like is that it will be shipped with Android 5.0 (jelly-bean).

I was able to replace the USB circuit board on my son's HTC EVO View which is similar to the flyer. See the following thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1638501
[Q] Evo Flyer - Broken charging port...
Part is easily replaced and cost me $50. Part was $35 plus $15 shipping. Post 2 in that thread provides a link for part.

I'm selling this now if anyone wants to buy pm me an offer.
