To get into recovery use three-finger (hold vol+, vol- and power, then release when samsung logo shows up) like on the BML rom.
Before you flashing other MTD rom, flash this first then reboot, you will go straight into CWR, wipe everything, then flash the rom.

2. If a person is on an MTD rom will flashing that cwm and then flashing file work?

Same thing I was thinking. I've already flashed enyo's ICS, don't think I'll try another one until they get functional.

I'm not entirely sure if this is MTD or not because it has all the bml_over_mtd files in a folder not root directory so idk if the dev did that so they arent used or what. But the kernerl is .35.7 which is only found on any gingerbread roms so *I* think he used jt's kernel source for this but I'm not entirely sure.
I wouldn't flash it, but it damn sure looks cool!

Yes its mtd. Or at least i flash right over an my existing rom and it booted.
Wifi is working but no calls/3g.
Smooth as butter and visuals are beautiful. It took a few min at the boot screen (nexus boot) but i pressed the softkeys and it came to the welcome screen with colors intact.
Sounds work too!!!
Its a must try. I have been flashing enyos since the day he posted it and now it pays off. I first thank him for getting the ball rolling

1. This is MTD rom, but you can use three-finger salute (like on the BML rom) to get into CWR
2. Yes
Please be aware that you cannot directly flash other MTD rom from this rom because of MTD partition differ.
Please follow step this step:
Before you flashing other MTD rom, flash this first then reboot, you will go straight into CWR, wipe everything, then flash the rom.

Wow, this runs fantastic. If things like 3G, MMS, SMS, Calls worked, I would probably use this as my daily driver! Ice Cream Sandwich is a ton more beautiful than I thought it would be. Little things like dragging icons across the homescreen just looks so much better, not to mention the live wallpapers are great. But have you guys noticed that the wallpapers no longer scroll? Is there anyway to change that, or is it just that Ice Cream Sandwich doesn't have any stock wallpapers wider than the screen?

Why is my device running/booting slowly?
Your first boot will take an unimaginably long time. After that, your device will continue to run slowly until the application cache is built up. Don't worry, the speed will increase as you use the ROM!
The new Android Market doesn't work for me. Can I get the old one?
Yes! Check the attachments on this thread. Download and install "androidmarket.zip."
Why is my battery life bad?
Your battery life is often killed when flashing ROMs in CWM. For the best battery life, you must drain your device’s battery until it turns off. Plug the device into the AC adapter and let it charge till the image says 100% charged. Then turn it on and use the volume buttons to boot into CWM. Click Wipe Battery Stats under the advanced menu. Then you should charge to 100% and install the ROM. Battery life should be comparable to (if not better than) every other ROM.
Reserved for future use!
And away we go.....

Would there be any issue if I were to use CWM recovery to restore my back up that I just made before flashing the ROM?
I havent rooted yet or Id try it. Im just sooo lost. Ive had android for a while but never Motorola. Why is Motorola so different? It just seems so different then flashing on HTC.I havent even rooted yet cuz I thought I read that that root method wouldnt let us flash Roms it was just to be able to basically run rooted apps?

Your phone has a locked bootloader. Things are very similar across all Android phones, but you still need to follow the directions on the install page. SBF's are Motorola-only, that's why you've probably never heard of em.
[TWICEWEEKLY][ROM][2.3.7][GWK74] Unofficial CM7 "nightly" builds for AT&T Samsung S2
Hi,
I've been posting new unofficial "nightly" builds in the official CM7 nightly thread roughly twice per week for a while now. Many people seem to have appreciated their availability so I'm spinning out a separate thread to distinguish them from "official" builds and make them easier to locate.
Builds are performed (and uploaded) automatically every Wednesday and Saturday evening and should be visible by around 21:00 PST. The most recent commit included in the build is listed in the download table (link below) and the changelog can be found here.
They are pure, unadulterated CM7 (compiled with CYANOGEN_NIGHTLY=1). update-squished.zip is then renamed based on the build name taken from ro.modversion in system/build.prop and then uploaded to the webpage referenced below.
For further information on CM7 and how to install etc, please view the beginning of the official nightly thread .
If you want to use a different kernel, flash it on top of the nightly (though you probably want to consider using the Kernel Cleaning Script in between the nightly and kernel zip flashes).
Enjoy your flashing fix (I know I do)

What rom are you coming from? If is one that makes it think it is a i9100 then that is the cause. Give me a few minutes and i will put a link to flash just the kernel and cleaning script all in one so you get past it. Then once you flash it while still in recovery flash the full kang build.

I noticed the "Fast Connection" option in the Bluetooth settings, which seemed to fix my bluetooth problem... is it new or did I just miss it before?
Turning that on, then turning bluetooth off/on, and connecting to Ford SYNC, media ONLY, seems to work...hopefully it continues to.
Edit:
Oops, looks like i spoke too soon... still having same issue.
It was working briefly though, until I connected again. It is only Google Listen, Google Music is not affected...
guys i have this phone about a week.
And now i were send some stuff (music, photos) to my phone and i saw that i have folder named RECOVERY in External storage.
Does that mean that we already have some sort of recovery instaled on phone or it just a garbage?
Here is the picture showing that to you, and look for date, it were made before phone came out to market.

all android phones have a recovery, that might be a folder used for the initial flashing of the firmware. what we're after is a custom recovery (like clockworkmod) so that we can install unsigned/custom packages/roms.

I looked, maybe not very well, but what is the newest or most recommended radio for this? i found the radio threads, but was just curious as to what you use Scott.

I've looked around and it seems it has been an issue on previous HTC phones including the one, so it very well may be an HTC bug with some people, I was just curious if anyone (or all) running this specific rom were experiencing it. Not a big deal, just something I noticed. Again, keep up the great work!
So I'll make this quick... just doing some google kung fu, I came across a Spanish forum... HTCMania (http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=836297)
Word is that user Davidvaz is responsible for this work and all credit goes to him as such, as I said I didnt' build this, just found it.
Low and behold, someone built a working Sailfish OS port for our Nexus 5... and it's actually pretty dang functional... You had to flash it on top of an existing CM 11 install and stuff.. but I combined the two and rewrote the updater script into one flashable zip.
Here's a rough idea of what works and what doesn't:

Also not working: Terminal Application. Installing applications from the Jolla Market.
This is very much a work in progress but it's very functional and I'm very impressed with Sailfish. Have fun!
Oh! And I'm pretty sure you can make it work with MultiROM if you have a primary that utilizes a kernel with kexec hardboot support... Don't quote me on that! I don't use it so I'm not sure... I'm sure someone will make it work if it doesn't already, though.
Download Mod Edit:Link Removed.. sorry copy.com is lame I guess, haha. Once someone downloads if they could mirror it on mega or someplace.. upload stinks.
Looks interesting, will download once upload's done.
upload is done. let me know if theres any issues with the updater script or flash itself..
Issues with the rom, however, I probably won't be able to assist you with.
Thanks for finding will give it a go....never enough roms for this rock bottom crack flashin fool.... Thanks for feeding my addiction... And glad you checked HTC Mania Ive found a few there, VampSkyDragon (lol that name cracks me up) and SlimVamp (again lol)... Probably one of the least likely Nexus 5 Rom places you'd think to look but they do have some so good lookin out.
So basically any cm11 rom then ill flash it over it?

No need to flash cm11.
It is clearly stated in the op that it is combined and there is no need to flash cm before flashing sailfish os.

Thanks for the time you spent on this. I'll try out multirom now. Can't even begin to express my excitement!
EDIT: I spoke too soon. The download is not working.
Code:
{"result":"error","error_code":"1048","error_string":"Link 'NiiPOdORFQSo' has been flagged as abuse"}
EDIT 2: If you can figure out a way to get it to me, I'd be happy to host it for you. Mega, perhaps?
Can't download it. Can you upload to another site?

Yikes, Yeah for sure I'll try to figure out why copy flagged it.
Updated the download link..
Edited OP,
Once someone with a fast connection downloads it, if you could please mirror it on mega or androidfilehost.. my upload sucks
Thanks.
This is only the Sailfish OS, you need to flash CM11 first before flashing this on your Nexus 5.
Mod Edit: Link removed
I tried it, working smoothly, however you cannot install Android Apps yet, Home screen doesn't align well and camera is broken.
Anybody try it out yet and is everything working? Screen shots would be nice to see =) Thanks!
Hi there. I know it's not my problem. But I know the guy who did this work in HTCMania and others here on XDA. He is Davidvaz, I use one of your roms, and I think you should at least mention it here.
At least say his name because many people do not look at the link, just go directly to download
Here's another mirror just in case, hosted personally. Trying to get it running on multirom right now

It has CM11 included, as per OP.
Well, no luck on MultiRom and not familiar enough with it to know what to do next. Hopefully someone else can work that one out!
Installs successfully in MultiRom but does not works. Sits on Google Logo during boot.

Don't use multirom to install, install it as main ROM then after you boot it and set it up move it as secondary, won't work if installed as secondary

Unfortunately not everyone has that option.
