Try installing "Select Locale and Language" app from Market

[Q] How to change Regional Settings in Samsung Vibrant ?!

Hi,
I got my Samsung Vibrant 2 days ago and it's simply awesome !
But I have a problem with showing callers number. As it's mentioned in my profile I'm from Bahrain and our mobile numbers are different from US in format.. US calling numbers comes like this.. (123) 123 1234 but in my country Bahrain we use normal numbers like this.. 12345678 !
Anyway in Windows Mobile all I have to do is go to settings then regional settings and change the locate to English (UK) and done..numbers will appear normal !
In Samsung Vibrant I tried to find the place to change this but I simply couldn't !
So guys, Where can I find this option ?!
Thanks in advance..
Its called locale, but by default uk isnt in there by default. Theres a program in the market called locale switcher thatll do it.

Auto-Correct Dictionary

Somehow these misspelt words were saved in my phone and are now always defaulted to when texting, how do I go about erasing my dictionary or removing words from it. Thanks in advance.

Which keyboard? Swype, ICS, android, Samsung? Try going into Setting--->Language and Keyboard, then look under input method for whichever keyboard your using. There should be an option to restore default setting(erase saved words).
Also may be able to go into Settings---Applications--->Manage Applications---> select all. Then find your keyboard and clear data
Sorry, I should have been more clear, its the android keyboard, but in its settings I see no option to erase dictionary, I have also force stopped it in applications and cleared its cache and still no solution.

Actually found a solution, there was an app in the marketplace called "Used Dictionary Manager" which allowed me to see all my saved words and have the ability to add, delete or change them! Thanks for your help though mate, very much appreciated

No problem. Glad you found a solution. Did you clear cache only for the keyboard?
There is an option to clear data, which erases your previous settings from said app.
I actually didn't have the option to clear the cache for some reason, which seems unusual, however after clearing the data it did not work either, I'm kinda thrown off though how with this phone and its "superiority" that it doesn't have this type of option and that an app was needed, that being said it makes me even more grateful for these developers who go unnoticed and make these seemingly simple apps which actually help out so much, and I'm sure are quite a challenge to make

[Q] Add English Lanuguage to Rom

I have a Japanese GS3 alpha. Basically an I9305. Anyway I put CM10.1 on it and it only came with Japanese as the base language. My apps are english but the system is all japanese. Is there anyone can explain how to add english to the system. Or how to rewrite the build prompt to include the english language. I'm not new to Android but everyone I've ever used has included English. Help Please.
Try downloading language enabler from the play store.
