Quick question:
Isn't there a line in the updater script to automatically mount /system and other partitions before installations.
If I'm not mistaken, the command is:
Code:
run_program("/sbin/busybox", "mount", "/system");
Why don't compilers/themers just include that line in their updater scripts?
Sorry if I sound rather asshole-y, but I'm genuinely curious.

They're making use of busybox to mount the system , in which is not genuinely recommended because you'd have to mount /system for busybox to be executed .
What I recommend is to mount the entire /system partition in its own without busybox , for all those noob users .

It's just a script that (in conjunction with the updater-script) can always mount /system correctly regardless of device since there are many mount points for /system. This would have helped me for the viperMOD script since some devices had different mounting points.

First of all Rom Toolbox is an app xD xD xD
It can block ads, change fonts ,browse files, etc
But its coolest feature is the boot animation changer...u can download and change the boot animation with it
NOTE: ull have to resize the animation to 320*480 using the boot animation editor included in the app ...
EDIT :the boot animations part is a feature of ABSOLUTE SYSTEM ROOT TOOLS ...sorry for confusing the two ...sorry ...

Hi guys..I've tried to edit the sammy keyboard and in particular i've edited in layout/arrays some lines that say 'recognition_time'. The default values were 1000, 300 and I have casually modded them to 100 and 30 (also other lines). I think that something is improved..but I do not know if it is a placebo...
I also asked to @mr.harsh to help me with this little project and I am waiting some infos about smali coding.
Now, can someone of you test my SamusngIME keyboard?
Please, i need testers you just have to download from attachment, copy to system, set perm to rw-r-r (644), reboot and then let me know something! (Do a backup before installing it)
Only for stock sammy firmwares deodexed.
Many thanks in advance, i'll be grateful

The launcher bug would be kinda useful man, I just don't think that having this much space on the phone storage, would one have to move an app to sdcard
Anyway, the problem about Sammy's keyboard is not you, it's Samsung itself, since the keyboard is super laggy when typing anywhere except message...
