I got my new Samsung galaxy S2 last week.
The toggle option for packet data does not appear when I press and hold the power button. The silent mode and airplane mode toggle options come up, but not the 4G data toggle option. Can we change these settigns anywhere? I would really love to have this shortcut, instead of always going in to Settings.
I forgot if it comes with the stock kernel. I doubt it.
Flash a kernel with jkay mod. You'll be able to customize it.

has anyone worked out how to edit the pulldown menu on the Sg2?
I would love to know how to remove the Sound Vibration and Auto Rotation buttons from it as i never use them. Would also prefer to have Airplane mode on there instead.
You can have Airplane mode if you press Power button for a second.
Besides I don't think there is a mod out yet which will allow you to modify the Notification menu items, if you want it badly then only option is to go for a Custom ROM.
Regards.
Is it possible that when you activate data from Notification power widget (the one under status bar) to make him auto activate 3g as well? and when you deactivate it, to change to 2g? Like the one in the power control widget?
Im using Mik'os 6.5.7 rom.

There is a separate toggle for 2G/3G in the notification bar option in CM settings. Add that to the notification bar. But you've to use the Data toggle to enable data, though.
So like everyone else Im having data issues as well. I tried several roms ,builds, radios etc and nothing helped. The other day though I added a LTE toggle to my status bar through my interface settings. After adding the toggle i noticed LTE wasnt on and if I pressed the toggle it just closed the the toggle bar and didnt turn LTE on. I checked my network mode in settings as well as the testing menu app and both were set correctly. Then I realized in the interface settings that there is actually 2 different toggles, one toggle (LTE) is in the power widget menu and the other (4G LTE) is in enabled toggle menu. Only after enabling and turning the 4G LTE toggle on was I able to turn on the LTE toggle. For a few hours now I have actually had consistent data. I did notice that the 2 times I pulled my battery and turned my phone back on both toggles were off, like the settings arent sticking or it goes off by default. Anyone try this yet or know why they turn off?
Im running Cleanrom Verizon Edition and would like to have multiwindows toggle but its not a option in the quick panel setting app anyone have any ideas!!
I see having the toggle and redundant when you can press and hold the back button.

the toggle turns multi window on and off and the back button just opens it. i turn it off with the toggle when im not using it because i found that it drains my battery if i leave it on.
One unfortunate limitation of the CM11 lockscreen is that you can't toggle silent mode or flashlight using slider shortcuts. (Yes, you can use the notification drawer or quick settings menu, but those are more cumbersome.)
I've been experimenting with Tasker App Factory, and I've just created two very simple apps: one to toggle the flashlight (torch) and one to toggle silent mode. You can set these apps as slider shortcuts on the lockscreen. I'm not a developer, so don't expect much, but I decided to share these in case they're useful to someone.
great, i had such a habit from old samsungs where holding volume key would turn flash on by default. thanks!
i use this menu: lock screen -> action buttons. there is an option to turn on toggle sound and torch, but it is not visualized.
Using an app called Torchie, just press both 'volume buttons' together to turn on/off torch anytime. It runs as a background service and just works anytime, even when screen off (if enabled from Torchie Settings). It kinda make your phone feel like a conventional battery operated torch. No root required.
