the advantage of using sd-ext is that ALL THE APP (including its DATA) can be moved to it. Right ??
so link2sd can do this ?

a2sd can do only that. You cannot choose which app.
link2sd can do individual apps. I have never used it so i dont know all functionalities. Read the thread i linked to. I guess that would answer your question.

Sorry then...
Yes, your free internal memory is normal, cheap phones have very small storage space. You can root and use a root uninstaller to delete system apps you don't use in order to free more space.

That is where all the apps installed to SD (the native Froyo way) go. PC Suite can be downloaded from their web (the application is horrible, BTW) and no, system applications are not installed there at all.
Ok...so wat are the changes or advantages of 10e over 10c???& how to start with using market place???

By the way you keep asking stuff, its seems like either you're a lazy guy, or your search function does not work. You can find out about such trivial things like using Android Market or finding your apps and games yourself! All of these questions have already been asked before.

Check out this RAM Optimising Script.
I flashed this script and now my phone is a lot smoother. All the little things such as opening/closing keyboard, scrolling and switching between open apps is faster.Tested with Xgin 5.3
To use this script
1.You will need to have cwm recovery-available with minicm and xgin with dual recovery mode(afaik)
2.Download Juwe_RAM_Script-CWM.zip from last post of this page.
3.Flash in cwm recovery
Post your experience in this thread
Devs if you and everyone experiences better results, you should include this in roms
Could u create with xrecovery too? For kuyo rom
Sent from my X8 using Tapatalk
after i flash at cwm,how can i know does it works ?
anyway to check ?
i've tested it..nothing change...i dont see any difference..tried in xgin5.3
Sorry but i don't know how.
If devs find these useful, they might include this in their roms.
If you went to link the you can try the second method mentioned there.
Unpack Juwe_RAM_Script.zip ,copy the file into /system/etc/init.d/ using rootexplorer or like and restart. That should do it.
Just tested and can't see any changes really and quadrant score didn't change it just went from 1063 to 1065 :/

Look to /system/etc/init.d/ if there is file named S97ramscript
I think that there is wrong mountpoint in updater-script (X8 has different mountpoints)
Strange,it definitely helped me.
Keep an eye out ,try apps which used to lag before.

Right I manually installed it. Not really convinced it does a lot. Quadrant score went from 1065 to 1079. Not really a big enough difference to confirm that it works but it doesn't slow it down so you might as well flash :L

I read somewhere that more memory is bad on an Android system. I mean they wrote that if you have low memory free, then the android cached what you will need = faster system. Am I right or wrong?

Hey guys!
I try this internal memory increase mod and it work my Sony Live With Walkman WT19i CM9.1. This mod posted on XDA Xperia Arc Android Development sub forum. This is only a sharing, I'm not the person who developed this Mod. Developed by "XtremeSilencer"
Installation instructions
1. create a ext partition [ any ext2/3/4 ]
2. put this mod in your sd card
3. Make nandroid backup. (backup and restore>backup)
4. Flash the zip (install zip from sd>choose zip from sd card)
5. after flashing...wipe data/factory reset
6. reboot and enjoy
Download:- http://www.mediafire.com/?y7rblybs7474yyp
I think this mod performances depend on the SD card class. If this work hit the thanks button.
Note! After phone boot up, first few minutes phone slow. After that it OK.

Don't you think that link2sd is better?
It allows you to choose which apps should be stored in phone and which should be moved to sdcard. That really matters because sd-cards are limited in write-read cycles, so moving all apps to sd is not the best idea.
And link2sd is way too simple:
1. Make 2nd partition
2. Install and run link2sd
3. Reboot
4. Move what you want to move

Dead Link...
Can you please add new link, this one id dead.
I want to give it a try, Link2SD is no a solution because the apps still waste internal memory as well...
Thanks

Link2SD wastes the internal memory too. If you have a lot of apps you'll see your memory disappear too
Broken link to download can fix please? Thank you :good:
Here's a link to the original thread, however be warned that the author has been banned (don't know why) and it seems that the script is pretty buggy. I haven't tried it myself but it would be great if theres anything similar that's working.

how to edit a custom rom to be in the picture

what is your point tho...if you mean moving an app to sd..then no need to 'edit' a custom ROM..and u can install link2sd for moving an app that cannot be moved to sd..
