[BATCH SCRIPT] MR. Navigator 1.8 (updated 11.9.11) - myTouch 4G Themes and Apps

v1.8 was a major update.
Please redownload all files and delete old ones.
This is a script I made for myself to put all popular scripts and Patchers in one FILE!!!
I will add scripts on request! This is a Windows/PC batch script using command prompt. This was created on Windows 7 but will work in Windows XP or higher.
Included scripts of November 5:ADB/Fastboot setup for first time users, ADB and Fastboot for already installed users, FTP server for online file storage, ADB and MR. Navigator updater included in options,
Well I decided to share this with you guys.
Please message me if you would like to be a greater!
BUGS: None! well...you tell me
1.8 out..
Working on:
YOU TELL ME]I'm looking to contact a good range of known devs for permission to implement there script or patcher into my AIO (all in one) script.
Support for all devices will be added after fixing some compatibility issues on a good range of devices...... But works perfectly with MT4G tho , a auto installation of ADB wireless if your lazy like me. ACpatcher, ICS status bar layout patcher, and new scripting codes!;
I would respect constructive feedback/criticism because I'm a young mind looking into developing...and such!
Expect v1.9 to come November 10th (Thursday) with BUGFIXES
l]
Download Mr navigator with v1.8 and all needed setup files here (Must have to run)- http://www.mediafire.com/?xy4cl7655m3xu03
If you just want to download v1.8 update because your coming from an older version, here-- Major update (re download all files)
(You need actual Mr navigator to run, but if u just wish to update mr navigator you can just download this then look at my how to update guide below MAJOR UPDATE REDOWNLOAD ALL FILES
How to update: Mr navigator v1.9 will be named "update.bat"
Don't open it just move it to the same folder as Mr navigator.bat Then open Mr. navigator and go to options/updater. Then it will detect the update and ask if you want to apply it

True, sorry this is one of my first threads

Advice:
Search "Scripts" here on XDA and youll find lots of results. The most popular ones that I kow of so far are the V6, Darktremor, and Juwe(?) Ram Scripts. A good starting point would be to start an official "Scripts" thread and provide links to each popular script devs forum thread. Ask the devs permission if you can link direct download links to their script so you can track which ones are more popular with users and then collaborate with the devs themselves on making a batch script .zip file that contains multiple scripts for different functions (RAM mods, partitioning mods, etc). Script manager is a useful app, but I would rather all scripts be flashable through cwm. If you really push yourself on this project I really think you could gain a good following among fellow XDA users. Good luck

although I would prefer using windows batch scripts because then I could use adb help and I'm familiar with most commands. I still have alot to Learn about making update.zip which can be flagged in recovery...so for know, I'll stick with what I already know. but I might look in to what you suggested and I've already started private message some people. :-]

[KITCHEN] COFFEE SHOP v2.1 w/ HTC-SENSE support

Welcome to COFFEE SHOP v2.x; Your favorite KITCHEN for HD2 Android
COFFEE SHOP - creating your own HD2|ANDROID roms (2.1 only)
HTC SENSE supported
Desire base
Froyo base
ECLAIR base
Evo base ( but is very unstable )
If your base is not listed above, that does not mean that it is not compatible with your ROM. While I have not tested other roms, I suspect that most roms are similar enough that they should all be compatible (to some degree).[ Some features MIGHT be restricted such as Camera. Test it out, and report back for the convenience.
How do I use it?
Read the second post
Your Android system image (system.img) should go to '/root/of/coffee/shop/bin/environment/image/system.img' < You should create the folder if it doesn't already exist
COFFEE SHOP 2.1 is here!
If you have no clue what I said above, there really is no point of attempting, unless of course you want to learn
Download: v2.1
COFFEE SHOP -Tips:
Before starting, you will need any supported Android Image. Download it, and save it to the root of your COFFEE SHOP directory. Extract the "system.img" to 'bin/environment/image', which is located inside of the rom ZIP. (Only zip is explained in this guide. However, if you know how to extract from .EXE, by all means, go ahead).
Coffee Shop will do the following
EXTRACT SYSTEM IMG CONTENTS
INSTALL MODULES/APPS/ETC
REPACK SYSTEM+HOUSEKEEPING
You will need one separate dependency
Code:
genext2fs
#in terminal, use the following to install
apt-get install genext2fs
My rom won't work?
Make sure that you have adequate permissions on all coffee shop files!
Use the following command before your first time running COFFEE SHOP!
Code:
chmod 777 -R /path/of/coffee/shop/*
HOW-TO-USE?(2.1 only)
Using COFFEE SHOP 2.1 is simple as ever!
1. Move your 'system.img' to 'bin/environment/image'
2. Click "Build Android" button
--Your image contents will be extracted
3. Click "Export Android"
--Your system.ext2 will be built and ported to 'bin/environment/port/'
You have the option to install Modules, Apps, HTC-SENSE support ( does not install HTC-SENSE ), or root your rom! Check the boxes according to your preference. More options coming soon!
Where do I get my roms from?

COFFEE SHOP
Allows you to build roms based off most STOCK ECLAIR/FROYO builds
Allows you to build roms based off SOME STOCK HERO builds
How do I use it?
First, make sure you are on Linux (cygwin MIGHT be supported, but is untested. Anyone who wants to test, and report back, feel free to do so).
All you do is simply put your "system.img" file into the COFFEE SHOP root directory, and run the following via terminal
Code:
cd /root/directory/of/coffee/shop
./start.sh
==SETTINGS==
FILE : settings/settings
Code:
#allow root access on rom
root=1
settings are read per line
[variable]=[value], otherwise, it will NOT work. Currently, the only option though is allowing root access. More customization will come later
THIS IS A BETA RELEASE; NO DOCUMENTATION, OR FURTHER HELP UNTIL OFFICIAL COFFEE SHOP HAS BEEN RELEASED.

[ROM] CyanogenMod 7.0.3 ALPHA3 - 5/11/11

Got bored again, this time I merged my device tree and fixes into CM7 Gingerbread ROM is built from the newest CM7 source code, and has been merged with the majority of my device specific fixes from previous ROMs. I love open source, so of course source code is available for everything, here (ROM), here (kernel), and here (initramfs). If you would like to follow the changes I make, check my github rss feed here.
*** WORKING ***
RIL (calls/sms/3g data)
WiFi
GPS
sdcard and USB mass storage
rotation and proximity sensors
screen on/off animation
haptic feedback
*** NOT WORKING ***
Camera/Camcorder
MMS
BT
most video codecs - Youtube playback (LQ & HQ) is broken for example - youtube does work from a browser if you use a desktop user-agent
Voodoo lagfix conversions
There are still plenty of bugs! and there likely will be until we have a true GB leak or official release to work off of.
PLEASE READ
It is considerably difficult for me to stumble upon every issue out there, and even more difficult to narrow these issues down, let alone fix them. That said, PLEASE do not clutter this thread with "thank you" or "X/Y/Z doesn't work" or "I'd love to flash this if..." type posts. I APPRECIATE THE THANKS AND THE FEEDBACK!!! Don't get me wrong. But these posts are not at all helpful in moving this ROM forward, and simply add more clutter to the forum. If you make such a post, don't expect a response.
If you experience a bug, PLEASE GET LOGS! I can't fix something simply by knowing that it does not work. A bug report without significant details is a useless post, it just is what it is. Logs help identify the code affected, and thereby help facilitate the fixes that we all love. PLEASE share your issues if you can provide helpful data in fixing them
THANKS FOR READING
The ROM package currently includes the base CM7 ROM, and a compatible kernel. Flash gapps from the package linked below. DO NOT FLASH ANY OTHER GAPPS OR KERNEL PACKAGES! The ROM package uses edify scripting, so it is flashable with any iteration of ClockworkMod recovery.
ALSO: devs and noobs alike please take notice : this ROM uses ClockworkMod recovery 3.x. I will no longer be supporting older recoveries!
Much thanks to the EpicCM and teamhacksung folks for code and ideas, and of course props to the CM team for all they do, it's their ROM after all.
If you appreciate the time and effort I have put into this ROM please click the "Thanks" or "Donate" buttons. Either one is fine by me
***** Update 4/26 - ALPHA2 *****
fixed USB mass storage
fixed haptic feedback
fixed TiBu 'whoami' bug
update to 3.x ClockworkMod recovery
sync'd with latest CM code
updated to latest Market
stubbed the camera (yes, I know it takes pictures of nothing but a green android )
** package still includes gapps and kernel **
** changed to new kernel that can be used with BOTH rfs AND ext4 - but it does not include the Voodoo lagfix code, so no conversions! **
** Make sure to wipe data even if coming from the previous alpha! **
***** Update 5/11 - ALPHA3 *****
updated to latest CM7 code (7.0.3)
enabled recent CM code to prevent "ring only once" bug (lightly tested)
made one of my sms hacks "optional" for easy editing by the mesmerize/showcase users (simply remove "ro.sms.padding=1" from build.prop to fix sms on these devices)
fixed some memory settings in kernel - should fix the lag experienced when using previous versions
added other tweaks to kernel for speed improvement (increased sdcard readahead cache/lowmemkiller/etc)
included punk-kaos' recent camera changes into kernel (cam not working, but getting there)
unstubbed camera (no more pics of a green android )
cleaned up my build tree a bit for a smaller download for people building themselves
removed gapps from ROM package, download from link below (kernel still included in ROM package)
ROM package will no longer flash a recovery
switched to bmlwrite for flashing kernel (screen will no longer wig out during kernel flashes)
Instructions:
flash with Clockwordmod recovery
flash ROM first then flash gapps package
WIPE DATA! if coming from ANY other ROM
Don't worry about disabling lagfix or any of that nonsense, ROM will work whether you are using ext4 or rfs
ALPHA3

Enjoy and remember: If your phone breaks after flashing, YOU broke it! Not ME!
You work pretty quickly for someone who gets bored.
This may peg my level of knowledge but here goes. . .What logs would be most beneficial? Assuming alogcat is the standard method, there are a lot of different options of logs in there. Any specific ones that would be the most helpful in tracking down a bug?
Not trying to clutter, hopefully avoiding more in the future

any random bugs can usually be picked up from the main log. anything having to do with the radio (call issues/sms issues/etc) need the radio specific log
I'm not familiar with alogcat (market app right?), but the logs can be dumped using adb from a pc. ex:
adb logcat > logcat.txt
will dump the main log
adb logcat -b radio > radio.txt
will dump the radio log
thank you for your concern

Hey JT, I know there are many thread junkies (like myself) who are constantly checking for bug fixes and updates. I also read in the OP that you said there will plenty of bugs still until we get an official leak. Does this mean that with what you have available to you at the moment the functionality will remain as is, or are you still plugging away at some of these issues? I ask this simply to see if we should be checking for updates. Not complaining one bit! I love this rom so far. Thanks a ton!!

I will still make do with what we have. As far as what that entails, who knows. One thing I'm relatively sure of is the fate of the camera. It's likely to remain non-functional until we have a GB base to work with.

1. Go here and download 0vermind's init.d re-hack
2. Flash the init.d re-hack in BSR (Bootstrap Recovery)
3. Flash Speedy v2 (Road Runner)
4. Reboot twice
To make sure the scripts are working go to /data and check for "ZipAlign log" if you see it, the scripts are working.
Don't be sorry. This section is for general which includes Q&A
Does anyone know if these scripts will work with the atrix ports?
I am a noob and didn't want to start a new thread that would clutter up so this seemed like the best place to ask.
They should work on atrix port but in theory you don't need to flash the init.d hack its already built into atrix port.

Yes the scripts are working GREAT with the Atrix port
I install this morning and my phone is working outstanding
7 hours and my phone is still at 80%

another question...so now that naven updated his scripts do i even need this? Or would it be smart to install this over navens latest release?

It depends which scripts u prefer. They are different in some ways...and u may need to delete parts of conflicting scripts or entire script itself. I saw some people had problems when trying to do that. Just make ur nandroid before trying to be safe.
U could just push the scripts into init.d folder u want to use and fix permission/owners.
So the scripts from these two guys are named differently, does navens have the script that helps battery or can I just add that specific one from overmind into navens zip file?
If so what is the name of the script?
Sorry again I am a noob and am just trying to figure this stuff out
I wanted to say thanks for your interesting work on RoadRunner. I've flashed it, along with the hack, and it wasen't loading as I wasen't seeing Zipalign. log. but realized maybe I should reload busyox, hch I did. Then upon reflashing roadrunner, the zipalign.log appeared. Al started speeding up after this as well as increasing battery life. So thanks again

What's wrong with RC7? I installed it successfully on my phone, and it runs. Can't tell much of a difference though.
Is there something specific installation error that you are running into, or do you have a way to check if the script is running correctly? If I try to run /data/99Supercharger.sh again, it tells me the my phone is already supercharged and to verify that "Ran_Supercharger" exists in /data, which it does.
After installing Balance 3, I see no difference in the Go Launcher. LauncherPro is better than ever, and my battery life is now really good.

I'm throwing SauROM on it tonight, because I am having other issues too that the rom should fix, I hope. Citrix wants to auto delete the first thing it sees in Active Directory. I don't think my work would appreciate me if I deleted the entire Servers column in AD.
I would love to install this. But.your instructions differ greatly..you suggest a busting install along withal file explorer install.. He suggests script manager.
And there is some question as to which pdt we should be using.
I have a seperate thread with his install instructions linked. I referenced file explorer because i didn't realize u could mount rw. If your THAT confused u should probably not install it.

In not confused. To the contrary, i understand almost wholly. But what isnt clear, is whether his instructions are sufficient or that they work with out note.
Its not clear which version of the script we need...or which set of instructions we should use.
Listing a set of instructions in a note specific forum (ones that differ from those elsewhere) implies that the others wont work on our device....or that something could be easier or go wrong.
Thank you for pointig the supercharger mod out. I was unaware of it. With that said, id still like to install it.
Which PDF do we use?

i got u completely - i just listed my walkthrough because some people truly need step by step instructions lol. but the DEV's instructions are plenty IMO
my thread was designed to link instuctions for setup and also discuss which scripts are working for the Gnote (case and point, my experience with update 9RC7 which isn't working for me, but does for another user). for me update 9rc6 works fine.... i would try RC7 too - lot of nice features

After installing Balance 3, I see no difference in the Go Launcher. LauncherPro is better than ever, and my battery life is now really good.
So... it sort of worked.

IN GoLauncher ---> make sure you set icons to "Default Size" because using LARGE or CUSTOM is one of the main Culprits to lag.... also get the 2.85 version
I have no lag.
Anyone tried this on the ICS leak builds?
Super charger us the best mod to improve speeded etc. however this is my second phone that after super charging my phone doesn't shut down all the way. If i power off then plug it in., it reboots. Also wifi constantly looses data connection. Both issues are related to one of the supercharger tweaks just not sure which one is causing it. Maybe home bullet proof.

Q: How do I set up the V6 Supercharger script?
A: Thanks to drlzanej's Tutorial... I'll attach the files when he PM's them to me
V6Supercharger Tutorial;
Ok guys, Ive done some more testing as far as SuperCharger goes and this is what I'm coming up with. This is just to help you folks out with any issues you may be having, I really like this rom and as far as zepplins mods they speak for themselves if applied properly.
Run SuperCharger script and pay attention to whats going on on the screen. Theres a lot of useful info there, so read along as it runs. any quarys you may have as far as what the script is or what certain mods do you can find the info HERE
After you run the script, Its my recomendation to run"superclean and reboot" (choice 32) as your last option, thats just my opinion.
If you want to patch in the services.jar the one I'm using is attched(or you can get it from zepplins thread found HERE
open terminal emulator an do:
type: su, enter. Leave terminal running.
Copy the new services.jar into your /system/framework folder
Go back to terminal and type: cd /system/framework, enter, chown 0.0 services.jar, enter, chmod 644 services.jar, enter
Reboot. This will take awhile since it will optimize apps the first time.
After reboot, go back to terminal and run the V6SuperCharger script again
and choose to re-supercharge, you will notice that it now says 100% Super Charged....Which I promise it will be. after the script is finished running choose option 32 again, (superclean and reboot). and your done. I know I know it takes a little time but believe me its worth it, Trust me.
If you choose to run a custom Kernel,(which I don't recommend, but, Your choice I don't care) My recommendation would be thicklizards "ArcReactor" works pretty well with this rom. I mentioned in an earlier post some glitchyness but after installing services.jar and running SuperCharger that was gone.
*** AFTER YOU INSTALL YOUR CUSTOM KERNEL, YOU NEED TO RUN SUPERCHARGER AGAIN***, it says it at the beginning of the supercharger script. Just do the re-supercharge thing and your good to go.
Again the services.jar I got from zepplins thread is attached, Just follow the instructions here and your golden. Please don't forget to Thank "zepplinrocks" for the V6SuperCharger AND the modified services script.
Q: I just flashed this ROM, Why do I have no Status Bar?
A: You probably downloaded an older release, re-download the latest 4\25\13 release and you should be good. Remember as always with anything you flash, to check your md5.
Q: This ROM was running really smooth for a day or two and it seems to be getting a little laggy. What do I do to remedy this?
A: Its recommended you run the zepplinrocks V6SuperCharger script through Terminal emulator or Script Manager after you flash to avoid or eliminate this, It will also improve performance and battery life. (***See the V6SuperCharger tutorial above***)
Q: Can I run a custom kernel with this ROM?
A: Its not really necessary to run a custom kernel as the kernel that's baked in performs extremely well, But if you wish to yes you can run any sense based custom kernel. drlzanej has tested thicklizard's Arc Reactor kernel and flar2's Bulletproof Kernel and the both seem to play well with this ROM. ***The S2W(sweep to wake) may cause glitches. To eliminate this issue disable S2W with Kernel Tuner. As always, Any other software you may use with this ROM please hit the Devs Thank you button.
Ill try to help you out here as much as i can bud. Thanks man

I think Titanium Backup may have a feature to convert apps to system apps
Sent you the file and sommore Q&A bud. Have a good one man
Polar2792, if by 'greenify' you mean make the app not launch on boot, ROM toolbox has that feature. Works for user apps and system apps and is very configurable.

If you're on Ver2 of Rage the services.jar Zep has posted in his thread may not work for you. The one he posted is from an earlier version of Rage so that might be the issue. If you're hell bent and determined you could download Zep's Automagic patcher and patch the services.jar yourself. It'll do most all the work for you and really isn't that difficult to do.
I'm S-On and just tried flashing 1.0.2. I followed the install instructions and flashed it twice. On the second time I flashed it, I didn't receive the "LOOK" message, so I assume that it went through correctly (TWRP said 'Successful'). I wiped the cache and rebooted. But, now I just hang at the HTC loading screen. Any thoughts?
