My phone is on a stock rom, not overclocked.
My problem is that the newer games are lagging..for example 9mm or NOVA 2..I dont know if its because I'm not overclocked or on a stock rom and I've tried to find answers but havent found them..
So please answer if you know whats the problem
Try overclocking and see what happen

hello guys, I recently tested it in the emulator dsoid in defy with Gb 2.3.7 RC2 version stable, I noticed great performance to emulate some games, I wonder if anyone has tested in CM10 or in CM9 in our great defy ,he have sufficient capacity to emulate nds

Hey there! I just installed it and tried super mario bros 2 and it works fine but very laggy. Thats because the app itself is laggy and i'm on CM10 22nd build, Quarx and defy+. Im looking for this emulator. Who needs a ds now!!!

I've been using CM9 for some time and recently updated to stock ICS... I've felt it before in CM9, but thought that it'll be fixed with samsung's update, but it's not. Games, especially 3d games stutter like hell, they are unplayable. I remember I've been playing Dungeon Defenders Second Wave on HC 3.0 and it was perfectly smooth... now? It just sucks. Did anyone else notice it? Why is that so? Is there any way to fix it without downgrading to HC? I use 3G version.

Did you try, or can try Dungeon Defenders Second Wave, Backstab, or Order & Chaos? Maybe I just keep hiting unoptimized games... Unfortunately I don't have asphalt 7 and Im completely broken right now so I can't buy it and check. But Dungeon Defenders is free. Gameplay itself is not perfectly smooth, but playable. It stutters for example at the beginning of new wave. Would you spare a moment to tell if you have the same, or does your tab perform better? Also, can you tell precisely what version of rom you are using?
I use XXLQ8 rooted and deodexed.

spawk's custom rom is great for gaming, maybe because it has mujeni's kernel which overclocks processor. games noticeably lag less n are smoother.
maybe the only faster rom would be once which tweaks the gpu more since that directly affects gaming performance.

Use gbrocks v3
its best rom for gaming
gb needs less ram than ics or 4.0+ roms, so more ram stays for gaming and multitasking

I Tought GB was DEAD !!!!
Hello I have a Samsung Galaxy 5 GT-i5500 rooted and I found CM10.1 slow so I install the application Voltage Control Extreme but it does not allow me to make a real overclock but just use my processor to the maximum. I've heard of that kernel could overclock my phone til 1300 Mhz I think, but I did not find any Custom kernel on XDA to download or on another site or can someone tell me where to download overclock kernel and how to install it if there is a particular way.

I would not advise to overclock your phone's CPU to max than 20%. You can burn it and make a door stop with

You don't need to everclock to do that.
Simply install a faster browser rather than using stock one. Like Opera mini or Dolphin.
I am pretty sure that you will notice difference

Even my S3 is slow, and suffers lag, while opening phone...
Just install a fast ROM and that should do the job for you (hopefully)

1º By the normal method to disable the "R" of Roaming from the signal, is not possible, I would like to know how I should do it
2º How to unistall APK´s, those which you turn on the phone gets re-installed again after unistalling them
3º Do you have a bug when you are hearing songs, radio, etc with earphones, because it happens to me that when I pull them out from the jack, it seems that the system thinks that the earphones are still there and there is no way to take a call and listen without EA, and also, radio thinks that EA are still plugged in, so it works... I have had such headaches for this, because happened to me always, no matter the ROM used, Stock, GB, ICS, MoD, ROMs, etc..

no. 3 is a random/common Xperia problem across the ranges. just keep plugging the earphones in and out until it clears
