Well i have intalled go lunher in motorola defy and when i press the home button wond let me choose or go back to the luncher that motorola has..What can i do to have both lunchers (the motorola and go??)

Settings - Applications - select go launcher and select delete default values or something like that , then Press the home button AMD select again the launcher

It want let me make this...i dont know why..it isnt activited that option!!
Maybe that happens cause you are using Motoblur ... uninstall the go install again and dont check, use as default, or try CM7 and bye bye the Motoblur thing

Tap Menu, Preferences and scroll to the bottom. Tap Exit GO Launcher EX.
Or just download HomeSwitcher from the market. I guess its free.
It's moto's bug...
Download 'HomeSmack' from market and enable MotoHomeHelper.
You'll be able to change the default launcher.
Problem with Go Launcher
Hi, i m facing same problem. m using Defy. i installed Go Launcher but now m unable to go back or switch back to my default theme. A mentioned in this thread, i installed HomeSmack. It works, but it also changes the wallpaper of the default theme. The default theme wallper chages to the theme used in the go launcher.
Is there any solution for this????
or is thr any other application wich overcomes this issue????

Hi. (From Norway so sorry about my bad english)
I Have some questions about the x10i and I hope someone can give some answers.
I have searched alot around the web trying to find some way to change my home screens or my themes if you will. And i am trying out these different types for applications for my phone like AHome, Panda Home, ADW Launcher, etc.
but nothing works. ADW Launcher doesn't open up at all.
Now for the questions:
1. Is it posible to get some help about getting themes to work on x10i, and
how the program works? and how to make them work?
2. is there some applications out there that you can make your own themes
without having to script it? for example sony ericsson theme creator is
a good application to make themes only i want something better.
3. if i root my x10i will i loose my warranty of the phone?
4. is it posible to make the phone vibrate every time i touch the screen?
I saw the x10 mini has it, and some other phones. is it some kind off app
to the x10i that i can use? tryed searching for some apps in the marked
place but didn't find anything usefull.
5. If I want to for example change my fonts on the phone.
why do I have to root it?
can't i simply replace a font file with a file manager?
Hope someone can help me with this.

Hi. Welcome to XDA and the wonderful world of everything X10.
I hope you are using ADW Launcher for donut as we are still stuck on Android 1.6, version compatibility needs to be checked always.
1. The latest versions of ADW Launcher is "theme-able" and lots of themes available in the market, just search for ADW themes. Other Home apps (GDE, Ahome etc) also have plenty of themes in the market
2. To create themes HERE is a good starting point. HERE is a good collection of themes, for other themes browse through THIS thread.
3. YES! rooting voids your warranty, but un-rooting gives you your warranty again. There are lots of root methods search THIS thread for more info
4. I don't know of any such apps but searching in the sub-forums of the devices you mentioned might give you more insights
5. Fonts are stored in the system partition and not in SDcard, to access the PHONE or SYSTEM partition you need to have ROOT... to know more about root, read up some basic Linux documentation (search using google)

I downloaded adw launcher donut from market place. and tryed downloading some themes. but nothing happend. and the adw launcher was installed correkt.
but i didn't find the application in my menu. and didn't find any way to set the theme
that i had downloaded. så I just uninstalled both.
but do you mean that we have to have android 2.1 or above for adw launcher to work
properly?

Did you select your theme in ADW settings?
ADW settings? how or where are the settings when i can't even find or open up the program?
ADW Laucher will not show up in your main menu like other apps,its a launcher (home replacement app), install it and press the centre (hardware) button (the one with the square mark above it) or home button and select ADW launcher. To use ADW launcher as your default home, tick the use as default option. The menu options are there when you click the menu button (one with 4 squares on top of it) and ADW settings. Hope this solves the issue.

now its only one thing missing and that os yo learn how to make my own themes.
i know how to make everything like for eksample photoshop and flash but how to make a x10i theme is a little more complicated i think.
if anyone knows how to make themes without having to script?

I have got exynos 5.4 on my sgs2. When 1st boot it gave me option to choose whivh launcher to choose. I picked the wrong one.how do i get the option back? I accidently ticked default launcher already but i bloody pick the wrong one

Go to settings > Applications > Manage applications
Select the launcher you are using and then clear the defaults. Once done, click the home button and it will ask you which launcher to use.
This might not be 100% accurate, as I'm using MIUI so I have different menus to you.
If that is too hard for you, search for Home Switcher in the android market.

hi there i had a problem where i rooted phone and i installed apec launcher buy i deleted it the n the screen went black, please i cant re install it as my screen is black i tried going to playstore to reinstall it but for some reason my keybaord is stuck on default and isnt letting me type oh please help

Did you delete or uninstall apex launcher? For the play store hit the my tabs in the top left of the screen, hit my apps, select all (your app history) and scroll through until you see apex launcher

hi there i cant do anything as my screen black as its missing the launcher im not sure what no bloat took out ive deleted no bloat all this is scary stuff... how do i go back to before before the root ive tried few things but not sure what to do xx

Pretty much what happens is, I download it at the play store, and open the launcher. It works fine, but when I push the home button, it goes back to the stock launcher. Every time, I try to set a launcher as the default one, my screen just kind of jumps from the bottom up, and nothing happens. For the Google Now launcher, It gives me the prompt to either cancel, or go into settings. After selecting settings, it does the weird jump again. Kind of getting annoyed, since the stock Emui launcher doesn't have an app drawer. I tired it rooted, and unrooted. I do not have busybox installed, so I'm stumped. Is there hidden settings somewhere to change the default home launcher? I can't find it unlike the previous version. Maybe someone who has had the same problem as me, can shed some light into this problem. Thank you.
goto settings>apps
then click on 'advanced'.
there you can find default app settings,click on it and select launcher and set your desired launcher as default.
and dont forget to add that launcher in protected apps

Since i haven't The Stock 4 to Guid You . So just Try To uninstall All launcher's You Have , Stock Will Comeback Automatically !.

Hi. I cannot use klwp with more than 1 page. Wallpaper scrolling doesn't work on different launchers. I've trying use force scrolling in nova launcher but it crashes this launcher. Any suggestions? I'm using huawei mate 20 pro.
It all works fine
there is a tricky way to make it all work.
First - Set you default launcher to Huaweis own. Longpress and set the amount of screens you want
Second - Set your prefered launcher and set the same amount of screens as you did in Huaweis launcher
Third - In Nova, go to "Home Screen" and look for the box "Scroll". I've set it to "Wallpaper scrolling ON" and Force Wallpaper Scrolling.
Now.. Go in to Huaweis theme section and set a normal wallpaper. When you choose this, in the bottom of the page with you new wallpaper you'll see an option to use wallpaper scrolling.. Do that!..
Load up KLWP and choose your desired wallpaper and it should work.

It doesn't work. I've done what you say. When I switch my launcher to nova it crashes. My phone shows smart recovery window where I can push unistall or cancel button.

Okay reinstall Nova without changing the settings and try again. This worked for me

I had to change launcher into huawei launcher. Then I change wallpaper. You have to choose scrollable wallpaper. Then save it. That's all. It should be scrollable wall
