I recently got an LG Optimus Chic e720 phone, had it unlocked so I could use it on Rogers.
At first I couldn't get 3G, and after phone calls between Rogers and LG, it was determined that there was no APN settings.
So Rogers told me to set up an APN with the following:
Name: Rogers
APN: rogers-core-appl1.apn
Proxy: <not set>
Port: <not set>
Username: <not set>
Password: <not set>
Server: <not set>
MMSC: <not set>
MMS Proxy: <not set>
MMS Port: <not set>
MCC: 302
MNC: 720
Authentication type: CHAP
APN type: <not set>
This enabled me to get my 3G connection, but I can not send or receive MMS. So I found the following settings here:
APN: rogers-core-appl1.apn
Proxy: <not set>
Port: <not set>
Username: <not set>
Password: <not set>
Server: <not set>
MMSC: ht*p://mms.gprs.rogers.com
MMS Proxy: 10.128.1.69
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 302 (retrieved from SIM)
MNC: 720 (retrieved from SIM).
Authentication type: <not set>
APN type: <not set>
Problem, is I can't set the Authentication Type to <not set>, but only NONE. Even with it set to none, I can't send or receive MMS.
Anyone have a clue why this is the case?
Ok so I figured this out.
Seems there was an APN for Bell in the phone that was hidden, so I used to hiAPN to delete all APNs, and re-add the information below:
APN: rogers-core-appl1.apn
Proxy: <not set>
Port: <not set>
Username: <not set>
Password: <not set>
Server: <not set>
MMSC: ht*p://mms.gprs.rogers.com
MMS Proxy: 10.128.1.69
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 302 (retrieved from SIM)
MNC: 720 (retrieved from SIM).
Authentication type: <not set>
APN type: <not set>
This now works for everything. I used unlock.ca to unlock the phone as well which only cost $9, so all in all, pretty good deal.
The phone is pretty good as well. A little slower than most Android Phones, but it does the job I need.

Can only run APX mode.. no Odin.
Was running Touchwiz 3.1 when all of a sudden, my tab locked up.
I powered down and it never came back up.
I can get it into APX mode, but get the following when I try to reload the bootloader.

Did some searches here and wasn't able to find something that would work.
Is there any way to use nvflash to repair?
Thanks!
Does anyone have to set their phone into "Airplane Mode" after rebooting your Amaze to get the cellular radio to turn back on?

I jusst got the z ultra but i believe i have incorrect apn settings because i am not able to send any mms settings i am on tmobile i was just wondering if someone could screenshot there settings and help me out or point me in the correct direction. It would be most appreciated
Try here. http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-2090
Enter the following settings for the Data APN:
Name: T-Mobile
APN: epc.tmobile.com or fast.t-mobile.com (for LTE devices)
Proxy: <Not set>
Port: <Not set>
Username: <Not set>
Password: <Not set>
Server: <Not set>
MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MMS proxy: <Not set>
MMS port: <Not set>
MMS protocol: WAP 2.0
MCC: 310
MNC: 260
Authentication type:<Not set>
APN type: <Not Set> OR Internet+MMS (depending on software version)
For APN type, try the settings there, if they don't work try default, internet, mms, supl
If that does not work try this:
Enter the following settings for the Data APN:
Name: T-Mobile
APN: fast.t-mobile.com
Proxy: <Not set>
Port: <Not set>
Username: <Not set>
Password: <Not set>
Server: <Not set>
MMSC: <Not set>
MMS proxy: <Not set>
MMS port: <Not set>
MMS protocol: WAP 2.0
MCC: 310
MNC: 260
Authentication type:<Not set>
APN type: default,supl
then create a new one as this:
Enter the following settings for the MMS APN:
Name: T-Mobile MMS
APN:
Proxy: <Not set>
Port: <Not set>
Username: <Not set>
Password: <Not set>
Server: <Not set>
MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MMS proxy: <Not set>
MMS port: <Not set>
MMS protocol: WAP 2.0
MCC:
MNC:
Authentication type:<Not set>
APN type: MMS
Ensure the APN is selected (if you go the last route, the T-Mobile one will be selectable and selected, the T-Mobile MMS one will be non-selectable but should automatically take over when you send an MMS.
