Hi,
Does anyone know how i can Close / EXIT all the applications that are running in the "Multi-task" window on my Galaxy Tab 10.1V
I have tried downloading the Task Manager (Advanced Task Killer) but its doesn't seem to help.

The only way of doing it is to restart your Tab... Or at least that I know of.
I don't think their really running... It's kind of a most recently used apps list.
But again the only way I know is to just turn off(power down) your Tab and then turn it back on again.

Got my Flyer yesterday and I'm having issues finding Google voice in the market. I was interested to see if others are seeing this same thing. I have the US Wifi only Flyer.
Yep, not there. Gues the thought is that with lacking a 3G radio, it is not wanted/needed.
its easy to install it, back it up on your phone "android phone" then email it to your self then install it. works great on my flyer.

Yea side loaded the app but I wanted to see if others saw this too. It just seems strange.
Like I said in a post before this 2.3 is in limbo for a tablet OS, between froyo and honey-comb apps. cant see certain apps on both sides on the market to download.
I have been side loading some of the tablet apps from the zoom, icona and asus trans forums that you cant get on the market because the spread out in duel panes in landscape mode as some tablet apps should.

Like which ones? I was hoping to find the CNN or pulse apps that have been shown off on the xoom.
Blaw most apps detect that the flyer is not using honeycomb so they revert to froyo installed devices screen size, which does not use double pain landscape mode or "optimized for tablet screens" this sucks till honeycom comes out for the flyer.

I think it's actually limiting apps based on location. I think the Market thinks we're in Europe.

I had exactly the same problem. I found a free app called "MyAppSharer" and emailed the apk to myself, and BAMM I'm texting from my Flyer. Installed a few other apps as well! Give it a shot, worked for me!

Awesome! Downloaded the apk from 2nd link and worked on my Flyer like a charm, thanks!

The device has to be rooted
TouchWiz brings a camera app - at least in the 10.1v test rom - there's a button on the toolbar for taking screen captures now

On my galaxy tab under /system/bin/ there is a program called screencap which works perfectly fine.
You can run it either from a terminal emulator on the tablet or using adb shell.
screencap -p /mnt/sdcard/filename will save the screen as a png.
Words with Friends (Update issue)
I see an update is available in the app itself. Though when I go to "My Apps" in my market it does not show any updates for Words with Friends. I have a Droid Incredible 2 by the way. I am a bit curious if there is something wrong with "My Apps" in the market. I haven't seen any updates for my apps in the last few weeks except for one app called, Battery Indicator. Is there a possible issue with my My Market and apps. I can't seem to even figure out how to do the update for Words W/ Friends (as of today 7/6/12). Would really appreciate any help! Thankyou!
I normally used 'Shootme'
...also requires root, but does not work on the 10.1 (works on Tab 7" with 2.3.3). It does complains about root (although I am rooted) and something about 'low level graphics access).
I guess I'll have to look for something else too.

Does anyone know how to properly use the app Google Sky-Map with our device? I'm not really sure how to hold it correctly to where I'll get accurate results. How should I hold it in regards to the accelerometer? GPS Settings? Other recommendations?

When I used it I just turned it into landscape and use like that also the app should be set to automatic somewhere in settings. Just hold it up to the sky and what ever it shows is behind your device.

Hmm, alright-- what do you mean it should be set to "automatic"? And does it shake the screen constantly for you as well, as in it's not fluid whatsoever and jumps around?

I'm sorry to bump this post, but I recently downloaded Google Sky and initially had some finnicky problems with it, it kept bouncing with what direction I was looking at. Had to download "GPS Tools" app, reset the GPS and recalibrate the compass, and it seemed to work a bit better. Good luck!
Hello, as the title said, my phone was steal this week, so I think, is there anyway to install an app from the playstore in my browser and it gets installed on my phone that if the phone use the gps or the wifi it send me a notification of were it is?, I don´t know if it exist or even posible after it get stolen, but if you know something, please help me.

The phone was a Galaxy Ace, everything original on gingerbread.
Don't think you will be able to do this as person changes the sim card and sets up new profile you are no longer in control of the phone..... If you done this before then you could shut down phone,find it using gps etc.
But not a chance now.

Download link works for me. App works with live streaming of cable channels, plus remote control of cable boxes in my home. As the OP described, you need to clear the app data and sign in each time you run the app. Good find.

I am so happy, im sitting here watching sports center on my Tablet (Zenithink C93 ZTPad)
When I tried to use live TV feature with the App in google play it says that my device is not supported. This one works perfect on my 10" tablet.
now im really happy. because this is much nicer to watch on than my 4.5" phone screen.
The next thing I need to figure out is how I can watch the optimum app on the road. (not on my home router). They say to use VPN, I can see that working, however Id like a simpler option, if at all possible.
Anyone have any ideas?

So it works fine when u install and run it first time. once u close out of the app and restart it goes back to saying "not supported". Why is this? is there anything we can do to make this work. I think it might be VERY inconvienent to constantly uninstalling/reinstalling everytime i have to open and close this app.
any suggestions ppl?
EDIT:: Ok i didnt read thoroughly the first post. that i have to clear the data everytime. i guess that will have to do then. not the most inconveient scenario. i just wish optimum didnt have to be such a **** about it. they obviously have some sort of kickback from Apple because they have supported apple devices including ipad for years before the Android version was released.
and considering the EARLIEST android version of optimum app works fine with my tablet, it is obvious they are holding us back on purpose.
