I9100gdzkj2 - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
Anyone here updated your I9100G phone to the latest firmware which is 2.3.6 DZKJ2?
So far the system is stable? Better than 2.3.5 I9100GDZKI1?
Can you test for me the stock internet browser can play video?
Example, you go to android.com, and try to play the Android 4.0 video clip,
see whether the browser will exit or play the video normal?

so far no one using this firmware?

Hi there,
I'm new here, guess I'm one of the noob as mentioned in the video. just register in the site.
I'm currently using the Android Version 2.3.6 with Baseband Version I9100GDZJ2 which was updated OTA from my Samsung Galaxy S2. As for your question, I did o to the android.com and try to play the video as your post. It results in my browser exits and this happens all the time I tried to play that particular video. Hope this helps.

just to share for others..
direct thread to I9100GDZKJ2, maybe helpfull..

[Q] BBC iPlayer won't work.

Hi
I've used the search function and suggested, so please don't shoot me if it's already been posted.
I'm rooted on Wanamlite 8.7 and my wife is on 8.4 and neither of us have been able to get iPlayer to work. I was wondering if any other rooted users have had any problems? Both of us have Adobe air and latest Flash.
I can't find it on the Android market either.
Anyone else have the same problem? Is it DRM? probably.
Cheers
Richard
Both the app and the website work fine for me on Hyperdroid Androidmeda 6.1.17
V1.3 has been released today. It is now appearing on Market and running in my S2 (rooted, ICS LPH) where previously I couldn't see it on Market and running the previous version directed me to a website saying device wasn't compatible.

[Q] Video recording issue

Hi guys,
I have a big problem with my i9100 galaxy s2: I can not record video! Basically when I press the red button to record I get the loading icon for a while and then I get a warning that says: Reg. failed.
The rom is ICS I9100XXLPQ 4.0.3 (build version IML74K.XXLPQ)
Has anyone had the same problem and / or knows how to fix it?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for reply...but it's not the solution.
I think it was a camera firmware problem: I had camera firmware version ONEF01 and phone firmware version TBEC28.
I have downgraded camera firmware version to TBEC28 and it works now either in photo and video mode, but now I've focus issue. DAMN!

AllShare Application

Hi
I'm looking for a copy of the smasung divx (AllShare) app used for streaming videos from a LAN.
Running a custom rom on 4.0.3 and i cant load the previous version of the app onto the galaxy S2, I'm guessing due to compatibility issues.
Does anyone have a version of the app that would run in ICS?
Thanks
Glen.
I tried that.
In the end I just used Skifta.
I use this on MIUI V4 (4.0.3) and it works fine. It has to be installed using a root explorer, copy it into the system/app directory.
I am having some problem with AllShare in 4.0.3. I am on XWLPG and I can share photos and music. If i try to share video it hangs and then FC's.
Anyone else is having this issue ?

Older version of adobe flash

I can't seem to watch videos on the desktop version of YouTube on my s3. It always hangs halfway.
On my old galaxy s, running either stock gb or slim ics, the desktop site and videos on YouTube worked almost perfectly.
So, I was wondering if the latest version of adobe flash is not properly working on the s3. If so, is there an older version of the app which does work fine?
No problems here while using Dolphin and latest version of Adobe Flash.
Probably your wifi/data connection, have u tried restarting your modem or try a different utube app there plenty on the market
If you use Google and search you should be able to find an older version of flash .

Flash Player lags/stutters on ICS.

I bought a galaxy s2, updated Android to 4.0.4 using KIES and I installed Adobe Flash Player 11.1 from Google Play. Now flash videos on websites lag/stutter badly and not because of internet speed. It worked fine before I updated to ICS. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
So no solutions for this?
