i've found app at the market, which creates a shortcut of 3d gallery which se had hidden. Also it's possible to do it with launcher pro or whatever other launcher.
Works fine ,but when i'm trying to launch camera shortcut which is located at the top right corner of 3d gallery it crashes. Any ideas?
P.S. is it possible to install mediascape on x8?

How the appendix the ALBUM, in System/apk is called?
How to refresh 3d gallery, if I move or delete files via sd explorer, 3d gallery won't update. Only way to refresh gallery is to restart phone. Any other way?
Unmount SD card, take then reinsert the SD card.

How to unmount/mount without having backcover opened?
EDIT: Found better solution. Just rescan sd with app from the market.
But it's also pretty annoying. Any more ideas?
For me it is updated automatically, but I delete through 3D-gallery, and to a picture box through a cable usb

Well, but if u download pic? then what?
Actually, it is updated automatically for me too. If I download a pic, it appears in the gallery without a re-scan.
This is a really cool app, it looks awsome... too bad that it takes a while to load, and that it doesnt support one finger zoom from X8 gallery app.

Can u upload apk of the version which u r using?
Maybe my gallery isn't updating because i've ticked that default app for viewing pictures is 3d gallery?

I simply lay down images on a flash card, I disconnect usb, I start 3d-galery from the menu, some seconds it think, and everything, the loaded images appear there, without phone reboot
Some1 who has properly working 3dgallery apk, share it.

Not fake. Installed without flashing, just decompressed archive and install apps one by one. Works fast, but its just another launcher ideea.

EDIT: Trying to install with Clockworkmod does not work. Everytime I try to flash the zip file it says some ''error 6: installation aborted''
Nice. Too bad it doesn't fit the entirety of the screen tho. bottom half and right-hand side of the screen are unusable.
Bet it would work awesome on a smaller res phone. Ill have to check it out on my aria. Ill put it on there when my girl gets back from school. Someone stole her phone so she's got it for the time being.

Can you please post full instructions on how to set the lcd density on the Dell Streak? I want full screen on it.
Because this looks really well made and I would gladly use it if it wouldn't be only half of the screen.

Got Home working, app drawer nice, but all widgets on screen are blank, and timescape keeps fc when trying to login

It does look like it would be nice on a smaller screen tho. I'm anxious for my girl to get back now so I can test it out on the Aria.

How much should the density be for the dell streak?
EDIT: Install an app for the LCD Density from the Market and set it to 240, now my Streak won't boot up.
EDIT 2: Had to pull out the battery. Density hasn't changed.
EDIT 3 (lol) : Tried the app again and it worked but looks even worse lol.
i've tried installing it through clockwork and it gives me "error 6". any ideas?

I've had the same error.
Solution: Open up the zip file you downloaded, and go into the system folder. There you will see the ''app'' folder. Open that and in that folder you've got APK files. Put these files into your SD card and install them using Astro File Manager.

The recent camera is unatractive and doesn't even have an option to make your pictures widescreen. I've tried all settings. Also, I need the shutter noise fx off etc. Just needing advice on how to completely delete/remove the camera off of 1.2 away and get back to the stock camera. Much obvliged guys, thanks. This rom is running flawless on my X2 btw! +1

You will not get blur camera to work. He has modified the system too much and blur camera is dependent on alot of framework. Next eclipse release is going to have the bionic camera.

I'm having no problem using the Blur Camera. I'm using the one from the Liberty ROM, works fine. Only thing is that it doesn't work with the gallery.

Yes blur camera WILL work.
Ho grab the one from the second.post in moto Ginger funk rom. U will need to go into the zip and push the apk to system/app. I don't think flashing it over eclipse will work.
U just won't be able to get to the aosp gallery from the preview picture button inside the camera app.

Last time I tried to push the blur camera into eclipse, I got the same results as EvilTim and nothing worked. Countess adbs and chmods later all I got was nothin' or FCs....
So, I took the blur camera from LibertyX2-RC1.zip, dropped it into one of the numerous flash-a-theme zip via BSR files floating around, and it worked! No more adb pushing, su'ing, deleting. copying, etc. File attached.

I had the FC problems only when I tried to use the blur_camera.apk I saved/copied from stock rooted. I believe the problems came from the apk NOT being deodexed and I didn't bring the .odex file also.
Sounds like the same issue I had until pulling the deodexed one from the motogingerfunk add-on
And u could have prolly just pushed the apk to system/app change permissions to rw-r--r-- and reboot.

Yes, you are right... did the push & chmod dance too many times in previous versions of eclipse and blur camera I had to try something new.
pulled these APKs from liberty-31. they are the Blur camera and hacked preview gallery. This will give you the stock camera w/ ability to preview pics, but still keep one gallery,the 3d AOSP one, on your app tray. just unzip, copy to your /system/app/ folder and correct permissions. simple as that, and you get the best of both worlds.

Thanks for the zip, but gallery won't open with it from the camera... So I want to get rid of it and just use the Eclipse one. Now I have two, how do I remove a flashed zip? I can't simply uninstall it...
Reason for wanting a seam lined camera that boots quick is because I'm ALWAYS taking pictures and even have it load up from widgetlocker and need it to boot fast like the stock one (bought camera360 and vignette, amazing but too slow booting and takes forever to process the image). Thanks guys.

I have both an having the blur camera alongside doesn't hurt AFAIK. I dragged both icons (eclipse camera and blur camera) to my homescreen but eventually deleted the eclipse icon and kept the blur camera icon. But if you really want to delete the blur apk from your system/app then you can use root explorer, or adb shell and mount -o remount rw /system then just delete blurcamera.apk manually.
[I must be one of the few who use QuickPic instead of Gallery.]
Or maybe the next version Bionic camera will be so awesome, no need to push blurcamera.

What I would like to know is how fast u mean when u say it opens quick. My stock camera takes up to 5seconds or more. Feels like forever lol.
Or do u mean eclipse stock?

For example if I witness something and need a picture FAST, I would launch my camera from my lock screen and it would be ready almost instantly. 5 seconds seems too slow, your ram free enough?
This isn't a problem in any eclipse rom, I just liked the eclipse cam "interface" on 1.1 better and it allowed me to adjust to widescreen pictures...

This is not really a question, but more of a suggestion for those who can't stand to use the current Camera on Liquid and Jesters Roms. Personally, I take a lot of pictures with my phone and the quality from that APK was quite bad when it was dark compared to what it was.
So after a lot of research, here's what I did:
Downloaded Root Explorer from the Google Play.
Browsed to system/app
Mount R/W and deleted Camera.apk
Downloaded this camera apk from MIUI: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=15307536&postcount=167
Installed it and voila - working camera with focus.
Note: Camcorder still doesn't work
I'm not sure if it's required to uninstall the Camera.apk (chances are no), however it's what I done.

didnt work for me, i enter the app and it shows the controls and all features of the app but not the camera itself
AOKP will fails on Camera and I tried fix it. No success.

You mean it shows the controls, but a blank screen right? You have to take one picture like that, and after that it displays the screen and it works fine. You'll have to do that each time you start up the app unfortunately, but still it's better than crap quality and no focus.

for me new camera (video recording) is laggy and panorama doesn't work..
With CMX running on the Defy, the camera works (and panorama, no sphere thingy, it force closes)
But no nl dictionary. Why???
Yet to install but I hope it got AZERTY nl_BE keyboard. (it is changed in the AOSP master after 4.1.2 but you never know...

It support s azerty.. go in language and input setting->advanced setting-> custom layout->add layout-> azerty

Very nice, i use swype normal as standard keyboard, but this feature with the word over the things you wrote is better than swipe ever! And now the keyboard is faster and fits better the look of jb.
Edit: i test the gallery,looking nice but not all work on latest CM10 the camera not change the orientation automatic,u had to turn on the rotation. U can not edit the picture if u click on the button that is shown after u take a photo and swipe right.
