Hey guys,
I have a request after watching a review of the Galaxy Note. Could someone possibly port the launcher to the SGSII? It appears to be 5x5 as opposed to 4x4 and that would be great.
Please don't suggest a third party launcher, I have tried all of them and I prefer TW.

It's the launcher from the Samsung Galaxy S phones. It runs on MDPI screensm but it's not quite right because the Galaxy S phones are all HDPI.
Bumping this thread. It would be nice with TocuhWiz on Legend.

You can get very similar look with using ADW launcher, and download Galaxy S theme.
Adw launcher is nothing like touchwiz..

The answer is no. The question is however why anyone would want to use that dodgy Samsung software

The menu aint the same, even if you use launcher pro?
I found that my ROM (RCMix v2.2) have something called Home Screen Selector. I can change my homescreens between: HTC Sense, Orange Homescreen and Samsung Galaxy S Homescreen (but without widgets ).
Which is better:
CyanogenMod 9 or Apex Pro Launcher?
I've been trying to compare the two but can't come to a conclusion.
I can't try them out for myself for I am awaiting the 4G GSIII to be realised here.
I'm not sure which of the two has better customisability and I am wondering if it is better to keep the GSIII's TouchWiz UI and just use Apex Pro Launcher instead
or just through TouchWiz out and use CyanogenMod 9 all round?
Any thoughts or comments will be appreciated.

I was looking for the stock weather widget that was implemented in GN2 to use it with my GN1, because the one in GS3 is designed for 4.8 inch display and it is disappointing when I apply it on my phone.
So please in anyone can extract it and make it to work with 5x5 grid.

Is it possible to have UX 4.0 on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge instead of TouchWiz? I really like the UI of UX 4.0 over TouchWiz and was wondering if I can have that in the S6 Edge.

If you are familiar with porting, yes. But to get that giant thing over here, you really need to know how to get it done. Otherwise there are Launchers or you can actively seek out people for the project.
I would suggest choosing another theme from the theme store or installing nova launcher from the play store if you're going for the looks. On the other hand something that i desire from ux 4.0 is the camera apk because i want to test the available settings and controls (i.e shutter speed control) on my galaxy s6 edge.
