I´m looking for a modified lockscreen (sliders) for the Arc. Apps like Widgetlocker doesn´t work satisfying on the Arc, in my opinion.
Is anyone up for the challenge?

Download the theme, extract the framework, mod the images, add to your framework, push to phone, done.

Comapre to the files of the Arc. You should use the same resolution and format. And it should work.

Just wait for a system dump from the Xperia Ray and we will have it.
But to be honest the loads and loads of amount of widgets in the market already that look like this.

can not install on my Xperia arc!
Hmm it did install fine. But I can't seem to find it anywhere (apps/widgets).

Try "Android flashlight" and "xperia flashlight". You can found them in google play store. You'll have the on/off tool in your widgets.
If you don't like this widget and absolutely want to get the xperia-s style, you can find the Android Flashlight modified apk in the zip file of the X10S v8 Rom, but i'm not sure that it'll work.

looking at update 4.5 in particular... the dialer works like a charm, even the improved contactsprovider too and smartsearch all work
SEMCPhone has signal, but inside it's all HDPI files, therefore giving FC when making/recv'ing calls... if anyone can port just that file to our phone it would be great. even in that thread ppl are saying that SEMCPhone is giving FC
i've flashed it AFTER REMOVING the entire framework folder from the zip file due to obvious reasons... using SDE ROM now...

read above we're both using the files from 4.5 and the Phonebook.apk from 1.1, minus semcphone and the entire framework folder, just remove them from the zipfile... haven't tried the others tho since they're not important anyway
the SEMCPhone from 1.1 will have no signal and the one from 4.5 is made for HDPI which will give FC
They work on every gingerbread but you need infinite view(not 100% sure)
But as far as I know it works with any framework
Also the calendar from the same thread is alot better(although in landscape looks a lil' weird)

Dude, if you search well, you will notice that somewhere in that post is a fix to semcphone.apk
I want to give this a try but I'm not using SDE ROM. Is it possible?
Or do I need the frameworks of SDE? :\

tks, but if u read my posts properly u would know that i'm well capable of fixing it myself
just locate the original file from my rom zip file and push it back in
i don't want a "fix"... since the OP all i've been saying is if someone can port over SEMCPhone that looks like the one in 4.5 which only has hdpi stuff in it... not the one with the 4 corners, which, incidentally, is included in the 1.1 update

And its not widgets fault actually is because of the launcher with dock
Try to use bakabon's xperia s widgets and look in xperia mini/pro/active T&A for the xperia s launcher

just use app gif to live google it...
The live wallpaper you seek needs to be atleast 320x480 pixels.
GIF has half of that. It will be blurry.
