EVOPower Sync Dock with Spare Charger - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777

Site: Amazon Link
Sleek Design
Support phone while sitting at an angle
Charges spare OEM battery while docked or otherwise
LEDs to show charging status
Will not fit with a case on the phone. Best buy - buy a quickly removable case (such as TPU Cases)
I don't have stock rom so I can't verify this triggers the phone for Dock Mode. Somebody will have to verify!
Once the spare battery is charged I flip it over to just hold the battery until I'm ready to use it.
PS: Does not throw my phone into a boot loop!!!
Love the purchase.

I waa looking at buy this charger too. I was wondering if it has any options for size adjustment as i hate to remove the TPU case.
I was plannning on getting one for the office and one for the bedroom.

Not familiar with those batteries but most aftermarket batteries fir this phone cause it to boot loop when plugged in via usb or docked. Best bet is just to buy another oem battery. Can be found for $25 on amazon.

Thanks. I went ahead and just got the dock. See how that goes before dropping the cash on extra batteries.

It probably won't. I had their EVO 4G version with the slot to charge the extra battery and that didn't either.
if you have a case on your phone do you have to take the case off to make it fit when charging?
Seems like it, may work with the stick on decal skin though. Why can't they make an removeable insert like the iGrip car dock is beyond me....
I would like to know if it will activate dock mode on the phone.

Thanks for the info! I actually think I like that one better than the one I ordered off of ebay a few days ago. I may get this one too and then have one for work and one for home, but I use the Defender at work so that would be an issue...I dont know, just thinking out loud...
I had my eye on that one for about a month and kept searching for a US seller to buy it from as it would be easier to return if anything was wrong with it. I finally found one last week at Amazon that looks like the same one, but rebranded: "RND Power Solutions Deluxe 2nd Battery Charger and Data Sync Cradle / Desktop Docking Station for HTC EVO 3D".
Search Amazon for ASIN: B005DIJOZQ and you'll find it.
The one I ordered arrived today and I am now testing it. So far, so good. It does a good job of charging the phone and holds the device at a good angle for watching shows, etc. I watched two episodes of 'Game of Thrones' on HBOGo using this cradle tonight.
I like the spare battery slot because it holds the battery upright instead of horizontally and uses less desk space. I'm still charging a battery in the slot now, so I can't tell you how well the spare battery slot works yet, outside of noting it is a bit of a snug fit, even for the OEM battery that came with my Evo, but it does seem to fit.
There are two LED lights on the front. So far, the left light remains blue and the right light remains green. I haven't seen them change as I've charged batteries or removed phone or battery from the phone, so I'm not sure they do anything significant at all.
I'll report back when I've had enough time to charge the spare battery in the slot now. I am very interested to hear reports from anyone who buys the Kidigi branded cradle too. I need a second cradle so I have one for the home and another for work, and I'm waiting to buy the second until I've had some time to test this one.
Oh yeah, I can confirm that the RND branded cradle I ordered from Amazon only fits the phone in the original case or at least cases that add no extra dimension to the Evo 3D. Also, the spare battery slot would not fit an extended battery that is larger in dimension than the original battery.

The RND model I bought does not activate dock mode automatically. If it truly is the Kidigi model with rebranding, then I expect the Kidigi model doesn't either.
It looks nice...not a bad price either...

My eBay dock came in today and I love it! Big thing for me is charging an extra battery, which the eBay dock does. Also, my phone fits in the dock with either the HTC silicone case or the Otterbox Impact, but the charging nipple doesn't go in deep enough to trigger charging. I'm sure that could be modified to work quite easily though if anyone cared to, I don't....

After testing the RND dock I posted about yesterday, I have found that the spare battery slot doesn't work very well. You have to fiddle with a battery to get it to make a good contact and it's pretty unreliable for charging the spare.
The dock section for the phone works well, but if you are like me and want a dock that simultaneously charges a spare battery, pass on the RND model.
If someone has a better experience with the Kidigi model, I'd be interested in hearing about it. I still think it likely these are the same cradle branded differently, but I could very well be wrong. The pictures just look too close for comfort for me.
supposedly, the Seidio model, which does NOT have a spare battery compartment, does activate dock mode, and since there are removable inserts, will fit phone with some cases still on them..I ordered one, and hoping for delivery today or tomorrow
copped the kidigi model finally after going back and forth
I really wanted that one as well, but, I don't want to have to take my case off constantly to dock the phone when at my desk; I hope the Seidio dock allows for my otter box to stay on while docked..
I tried to order that Kidigi dock when they first posted it, but even a month ago, they were only saying "tentative" shipping in August...Let us know how it works for you!

Hyperion dual dock with extra dock for extra batteries! 19.99-24.99 eBay. MANY PICS!

I just received this from eBay. I paid $19.99. Buy It Now was $24.99 but I was the only bidder. I'm hoping this post will help others that might be looking for a decent dock at a great price with flexibility.
This dock is nice but for Naked phones only as there is NO room for any cases sitting either in the charger vertical or laid down horizontal. It has a 1.5V power adapter and can simultaneously charge both the Note and an extra battery. You can also add the included USB cable to the back and charge right from that. It comes with the charger, USB cable and dock. Packaging does not read Hyperion but the included "instructions" do. It also features automatic end on full charge and an LED that's Blue when done and Red when charging. Data sync can be done as well with the included USB so you can sync in cradle while it charges.
I've included many pics for your viewing pleasure. Of course none with the Note actually in it but you'll get the gist. Any questions let me know.

I almost bought a similar dock from Dealextreme (I like the 2 docking-positions combined with extra battery charger), but I also was looking for a cheap dock with audio-out to use beside my bed as charger / alarm clock (combined with compact speaker).
I found this dock on ebay (seller is i-mail, as is more than clear from the included picture...) for $ 24 / € 18, which combines these functions with a charger for a spare battery.
It looks as a knock-off from the official Samsung dock, only with the extra battery charger included "hidden" behind the docked Note.
The dock can be placed in portret and in landscape position and the phone slides in easily.
Limitation is that only the naked Note really fits.
It misses the extra usb-port from the Hyperion dual dock, which would have been very useful in my situation for keeping the connected speaker powered (now I have to charge its included battery every 2 days).
Another impractical point I just experienced is its size. I wanted to take it with me for the weekend as I expected intensive use of my Note and would need to recharge it and a spare battery. The above described Hyperion dual dock is flat, so easy to pack, whereas this dock is as high as it is wide.
I got the same deal as the OP. I am very happy with the quality and the price. Thanks for posting all the pics. Nice job!

Ok so one concern with this dock. Although it shows AC charging on my battery widget, it never goes into deep sleep after charging. I've even tried the old turn on and unlock prior to removing the phone. Only way it deep sleeps is to reboot after removal.

Official desktop dock and car dock...are they rare?

I might be getting a HTC Amaze soon (and paying ~$150 on top of the hassle of selling it for a One S isn't worth it for me), and I'm considering getting the official desktop dock and car dock while they're still available...but is it worth it? Seems like getting them in-store is about the only place to get them (if the store has it period), as I only see like two eBay listings for just the car dock on the entire web. I get that they're not too extraordinary (desktop dock particularly), but I don't want to be with the Amaze a few months down the line and not being able to find either for a reasonable price.
i have not even seen the desktop dock anywhere i just got my amaze today from tmobile didnt see it in the store. On another note if you want to trade your s for my amaze let me know lol
I have both the car and desk dock personally. I have them in my store available for purchase, but i know not every T-Mobile store receives them
I wonder if someone who has the car dock would be willing to measure the diameter of the suction cup on it? I have a dash friction mount that I would love to attach the arm of the official dock to, but I don't want to buy it if the suction cup is larger than the surface on the friction mount I have.
Yes we have them in, I'm mad we don't get much amaze stuff but dock is cheap for 49.99
Sent from my HTC Amaze
This is interesting. I had no clue there was a desktop dock for this phone. I've never seen it in store. I may have to pick it up and do a bit of modding to make a very useful car dock for GPS navigation as the one I have is a bit.....
I'm sitting on an extra OEM desktop dock that someone didn't end up paying for. Willing to sell for 30 including shipping to US or 40 to Canada. Send me a PM if interested.

Received the items yesterday. It's the real deal. OEM Car and Desk dock... still with the T-Mobile price tags attached. The desk dock is listed at $49.99 ALONE!
Since I could never find the car dock, I went with a different solution. I already had the Trident Kraken AMS case so I was able to buy a part from Trident that uses the AMS feature to turn into a car dock. The part is only $15, so if you have a Trident Kraken case, pair it up with a car charger and you are ready to go!

Thanks. I probably won't get one of either, but I wanted people to see where to find them.
- for the car holder, I have not been able to find a charger that will keep up with the battery drain of the Amaze when using data, GPS, and keeping the screen on. I use Google Maps navigation by connecting the BT and turning off the screen. Otherwise this would be a great setup.
- for the desktop, I keep my Amaze in a TPU case. Still I might consider it for home use at night...
Ah, what the heck, I went ahead and bought the car model - what a deal!!

[Q] Extended Battery! Protective case anyone???

Mugen makes an extended battery (http://www.mugen-power-batteries.co...-samsung-galaxy-note-2-with-battery-door.html ). I am happy to see it, I have used extended batteries on all of my last three Samsung smart phones going back to the Galaxy S, the only problem is no one makes a good protective case for them. Anyone have an Idea how we can get a company to produce one?
I just got one for x-mas its made by zilu tech. I think att might be the only place that sells them but im not positive. You can turn the charger on and off and charge the phone and the case with one plug.

I need a wireless battery cover

What the best wireless battery cover for my note 3, need to use the new option in 05 camry.
Thanks
You can find the Samsung OEM wireless charging battery cover on fleaBay for around $15.
I notice that there are also Mugen "wireless ready" covers that fit their extended batteries for $20. Kind'a cool if you don't want to ever be concerned about how much charge you have - and don't mind a fatter phone.
I'm pretty sure that neither the OEM not the mugen will work with any of the "standard" cases.

It works through a thing TPU/gel case, which is my preferred type.
I use this one with stock back and with S View cover (fully functional), and there is a slight bulge but not bad. With the stock back, no issues in any of my cases.

The retail Samsung wireless charging back consistently gets 25-30ma more when charging. Not really enough to make a difference. Wireless charging takes ~3x as long as using the stock Samsung adapter and USB 3.0 cable IME. I swap batteries when I need to be fully charged. I use wireless just because it is so convenient to set my phone down on a qi dock at my desk or my nightstand.

CZ Eddie, yup, kickstand4u kickstands are back in stock - yours was shipped today! Thank you for your order and support!
FYI, I have a Sprint LG G3 (rooted) and a LG G4 (stock) both with wireless charging backs with a kickstand installed and a 3 coil TYLT charging stand - they both work fine, but it seems that the LG G4 is not as finicky in placement on the stand for a good wireless connection.
I bought the sview wireless charging cover approx 1 year ago via amazon, around £35. Highly recommended, works beautifully. You wont regret paying the extra cash.
