NOTE: Arc/Neo users, the zip says Xperia play because it was intended, it being my current device! But works fine on both phones just remember you need same phone version!
UPDATE: This is an on-going project! By me!
A lot more is done in a more recent fix i have completed.
I'm also not responsible if you brick your phone, or mess it up in anyway, if you don't know how to replace system apk's and the framwork.apk don't you shouldn't be attempting to install this, i'm not going to tell you how as there is plenty of topics/threads on this.
This is for STOCK rom only.
Version: 4.0.2.A.0.42
What I have done/included:
. Replaced the SE icons with that from ICS,
. Status bar is partially themed to resemble ICS.
. Settings has had some icons replaced.
. Camera looks a bit more ICS style.
. Theres a zip containing the ICS/ Galaxy Nexus ringtones/notifications/alarms/UI sounds.
. Theres a folder with 2 ICS wallpapers and the ICS icons and some icons resembling the folders icon in ICS
.Toast notifications are now ICS style.
.Some notification icons are now ICS style (messages, gmail)
.Tick boxes and scrolle along the right hand side is now ICS style
.ICS overscroll glow.
.Headers are now ICS style
.Contact boarders are now ICS.
.Clock & Date is now ICS coloured.
. NOtifications title and description is now White (readable) some 3rd party apps may still have difficult to read text on the black background, that is down to the app itself not my theme.

The google widget is desktop visualizer with the ICS google search bar icon.
Simi folder widget with the folder widget icon included.
the dock icon for LP is included.

then there's something wrong with you,
i installed and it works well, im using .42 fw
just the camera doesnt change, because the app on the ICS theme named camera.apk , but the arc's named semccamera.apk (if im not mistaken),
so when u copy the camera.apk to system/app , there will be 2 camera.
i like the stock better
the contact doesnt change too much, so do the browser and the messaging app,
but the overall work is awesome
and the icons is super!
but i have 1 issue, when playing music with playerPro,
on the black notif background , the text is also black, i think its the playerPro's problem,
anyway it doesnt bother me much

yea i'm currently working on themeing the inside of the apps now... long on going process expect more releases in the near future moving house on friday so busy busy also it is playerpro's fault you can change it too white if you go into the settings of player pro and find the bit that says 'inverse notifications colours' something like that
as for the camera.apk the xperia play doesn't have sony ericssons stock camera app just the stock android app ^_^ as that's what i test my work on
How to install?
hello. excuse the simple question, but how do I install this theme? gotta install apk files one by one or is there something to install everything at once? thank you
Can i use this with Battery styles + power widgets bar, Reboot option - or must i do something else, thanks

U can't replace the framework and systemUI , it will change the UI..

Make sure u do the right permission.
framework-res.apk >> /system/framework
Bootanimation and audio files (from media folder) >> /system/media
But place it to the right folders.
No the rest of the files that ends with .apk in the ICS theme folderbelongs to /system/app
Example:
systemUI.apk >> /system/app

REQUIREMENTS
CM6.1 for the HTC Legend
CM6.1-Gingertheme.v6.1.LEGEND.zip courtesy of Sympnotic - Download provided below.
LauncherPro (Recommended) OR Gingerbread Launcher
*** NOTE: Gingerbread Launcher 3D Free does not work on the Legend.
Icons (if using LauncherPro) courtesy of Benny879 @ the LauncherPro Forum - Download provided below.
Gingerbread Keyboard by Fabolous @ Droid Forums
LCDDensity
Livewallpaper from Gingerbread
*** NO METAMORPH REQUIRED!
STEPS
*** DO A BACKUP FIRST!!!
Flash CM6.1-Gingertheme.v6.1.LEGEND.zip
Select STOCK_Black theme in CM settings. (User interface --> Tweak Extras)
Flash the keyboard and select Android Keyboard in text input.
Open up LCDDensity and set to 240 then restart.
Open up LCDDensity again, set to 160 (default), and restart again (this is to fix the unusually small size of the new keyboard).
Use the icons to give the LauncherPro dock the Gingerbread look. DO NOT FLASH THE ICON ZIP FILE just extract it and customize through the LauncherPro menu. Alternatively, you can use the Gingerbread Launcher in the Market, but it does not have support for a 3D app drawer.
Set wallpaper to "Nexus" live wallpaper.
BUGS
Rebooting the phone will cause the keyboard to return to its small state again. You'll have to repeat steps 4 & 5 to correct it.
After flashing the theme from Sympnotic, the CM theme options may appear as a blank menu with one checked radio next to it. Check it again, leave the menu, go back, and STOCK_Black should be there.
After flashing CM6.1-Gingertheme.v6.1.LEGEND.zip I got stuck at the Cyanogenmod boot screen. I had to power it down then power it back up for it to properly boot. Everything was fine after.
"Add Call" button appears lower than the "End" and "Dialpad" buttons (See Post #5). Flash CM6.1-Gingertheme.v6.1.LEGEND.zip to fix. Thanks to Sympnotic.
MISSING FEATURES
New live wallpaper as seen on the Nexus S. Fake Nexus S live wallpaper added!
Official Nexus S live wallpaper.
Orange colour burst when reaching the end of a menu.
Sleep animation.

I'm just trying to learn this stuff too. Right now I'm relying on Sympnotic for the theme and I'm not sure if there are any plans for a transparent version. Maybe in the future if I can figure it out myself.
@jaStrom: Just want to ask you something. Did you sign framework-res.apk after you apply the theme? And did you zipaligne the modified apks?

No and no. I didn't create the required files mentioned in the first post. All I did was flash/install the required items, made sure everything worked, then posted exactly how I did it. I'm still in the process of learning about how to properly use the SDK, so I've been relying on more advanced users' work.
That doesn't mean that it isn't zipaligned or signed, I just don't know since I didn't make it. Why? Are you experiencing slower performance?

Hi, I did the theme, and no, i'm not signing or zipaligning it, I'm too lazy to do that as I'm always replacing things at the last moment before flashing and testing it, but I'm moving files from .zip to .zip to prevent issues concerning signing.
Properly recompiled (w/o errors) framework-res.apk using apktool (supposedly fake signed) gives me bootloops.
I'll grab the fake-sign java thing just in case and will find some infos about it.

Great theme. The only thing not perfect is the music player, Pandora and Beejive have black text in the pulldown that is almost impossible to see. Other than that, it works fantastic with Trigger and LP.
looks good but just a couple notes
Axura uses a different app storage structure so you would need a second download just for axura unfortunately.
also if you are using the dialer that crysis used for revolution you might want to note that the phone apk will force close on ending calls. if not please pm me with how you got the alignment right on the kb1 dialer its driving me insane.
you may also want to host this on multiupload so they dont disable your dropbox account.

OOOOOO now i feel stupid, lol. time to fix the fc issue in my version of crysis revolution and start on the evolution
if your friend flashed on axura all the framework apks would still change but system apps wouldn't as they are stored in /data/app_s not in /system/app like bionix or trigger
cheers.

1. Well since this is a theme not a rom, deleting the launcher included in the zip wont effect the outcome of theme overall, you just wont be able to use my custom launcherPro set up.
2. I wont add adw launcher because i fell that launcherPro is much smoother and stable.
3. For future references, themes only require the framework-res.apk and or the twframework-res.apk depending how much you want to theme. Deleting an app from a theme does nothing to the ROM, because what ever app is in the theme folder will be copied to the /system/app folder of the phone. Unless its an apk thats already there before the theme was applied then if you flash a theme, then some apps might overwrite another app located in that folder.
------ex Phone.apk already exists in trigger without the theme being applied
----------A theme might have a themed version of the phone.apk so when you flash the theme it overwrites the current phone.apk that was already there.
hope this helps

Go to you're setting and then application. Go to all and find icw. Reset to defaults. Hit home choose tw.
Roughed that up but I hope you get the idea.

ok guys sorry again, but um i realized i have no messaging app for texts...cant find it anywhere. Any insight would be great
the 'messaging' app is the default for all android phones. You should have at least that installed. If you want something else a little fancier, you can download one of these:
https://market.android.com/details?...t#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5wMS5jaG9tcHNtcyJd
https://market.android.com/details?...ps#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEwOSwiY29tLmpiLmdvc21zIl0.
https://market.android.com/details?...GwsMSwyLDEwOSwiY29tLmhhbmRjZW50Lm5leHRzbXMiXQ..
Apparently the Messaging app disappears after flashing this, even though it is in the system/app folder. I had to use root explorer to push the original mms.apk from unnamed ROM to system/app

This is a tutorial on how to make your phone look like a Windows Phone 7 phone.
In this thread, I'll be covering the launcher, WP7 like apps, and custom fonts.
So let's get started!!!
Launcher
First and foremost, the launcher is the first thing that comes to our mind (at least mine) when we think about WP7. We need to download Launcher7 from the market. The dev made a really awesome job. It resembles WP7 very well.
You can customize it however you want. You can find custom tiles here and here.
To make it more believable, go to Launcher7 settings > StatusBar options and check "Use WP7 style statusbar". The rest of the options is your choice.
Lock Screen
For the lockscreen we will download an app from the market named WP7Lock. Customize it on your own likeliness. Simple step.
CM7 WP7 Theme
The theme is needed only when you're out of the launcher because the launcher has it's own status icons and drawer icons.
You can download the theme here (MDPI) [LINK IS DOWN, CHECK ATTACHMENTS FOR "MDPI FIXES"]. This is the original thread. The theme doesn't have a preview, so it's a little difficult to select it in the theme chooser.
Themed Apps
Time for the themed apps. Click the links to download the corresponding app.
Contacts and Dialer
Messaging
Music This music app is AWESOME!!!
Notifications
More apps here.
Boot Animation
You can download the animation from this thread. However, the creator doesn't provide a MDPI version. You'll have to go with the LDPI one (QVGA). It will appear in the center of the screen while the outer space of the screen will be black.
To install: Download the QVGA version and rename it "bootanimation.zip". Put that file into system/media/. To keep the old one, rename it to "bootanimation.zip.bak". Give the following permissions (to the new):
[V][V][ ]
[V][ ][ ]
[V][ ][ ]
Fonts
The WP7 SegoeUI fonts are just gorgeous. Check the zip file in the attachments. Download it, put it in your SD card, reboot to CWM recovery and flash as custom zip.
I know it says "Installing ROBOTO font". Don't mind about that. It is installing SegoeUI font, I just had to get an already made zip to use as a base.
Sounds and Ringtones
In this and this thread you can download the original WP7 sounds and ringtones.
And that's it! Now your phone looks like a Windows Phone 7. Enjoy your new phone!

The 5th is just the dialer, one of the apps listed. Do you mean the 6th? Those are the theme's icons.
Hey I saw your threads. Nice work!!!

Hey mate, great work! Working well on arconium 4.
If I may make a request, you should do the same thing with the messaging APk so both dialer, contacts and messaging are all the same look. Anyway, love your work on the dialer.

Thanks for the feedback. I will try to make it. Maybe tomorrow or monday but I not promise.
I was going to use this but had trouble after editing so went back to the stock S files, and I also noticed you've cropped your slider images in SEMCPhone which is why it doesn't look right when getting an incoming call.
EDIT: See attached for my edited pngs...

Thanks for the feedback. I not touch the slider. I just figured that the .png already like that in original Xperia S app. Maybe I take a different app. I already fixed it. Thanks again.

Sorry. I already check. It work fine on my phone. Actually my theme has nothing to do with the toggle. Maybe you should double check it. If you don't mind, tell me your rom and which toggle you use.

There's a modded version of semcphone.apk that's used by person in post above yours.
It contains small mod necessary for quick panel toggles to switch between 2g and 3g network.
And he/she is asking if you could do your mods of semcphone over already moded one, so both mods are inside.
That would be additional version of semcphone.
