Hi. Just flashed CyanogenMMatt 1.1 ROM and I have no root access. I noticed it when I was Installing other busybox version. I can't root the phone with SuperOneClick method, it shows "Permission Denied, FAILED". Flashing superuser via ClockWorkMod also doesn't help.
When I open busybox installer, it requests SuperUser, but after I allow it, the program can't see root access. Tried two installers - both don't work.
What's wrong, guys?
There was a bug with Superuser 3.0.1 binary on ARMv6 devices. Download this and flash it. It should work.
If it doesn't, try Gingerbreak.
try this method to root http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1200167
None of the methods above don't work, but anyway, already flashed mik's cm.
thanks anyway...

I just flash the homebase rom on my atrix. The binary updater says my su is outdated. I try to update but it keeps failing. It says "Checking current install path... fail!" How do I fix this problem?
Try updating superuser from market.
If doesn't help check if you got root with app that required root (like Root Checker or Titanium backup), if there isn't root - root with: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1255548 (Or if you want to try reflash rom)
I do have root and the old superuser works fine, but after updating the new superuser from the market, it can't find the path for some reason. I tried reinstalling root, but it failed because it said I already have superuser in my phone.
OK so uninstall it and root again.
This seems like a good place to put this, I have an HTC Wildfire S with S-OFF but after updating Superuser from the Android Market the Binary was outdated. I checked to make sure S-OFF was not now S-ON so that was ok. I then used recovery mode and installed the latest Superuser.apk with the binary from zip, found here -> megaupload.com/?d=8QI41EE3 and the problem was fixed. Hope this works for the Atrix 4G as well.
I have Xperia U awhich i had rooted with Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v18 withouth unlocking the bootloader.
Recently my phone failed to start at the screen got stucked on the Xperia logo so i had to repair the installation by updating the phone with ICS from update service.
After that my phone seems to be half rooted, it installs the root apps like SuperSu , busybox but it has lost the su binary files.
The SuperSu gives the error 'Su binary not installed and SuperSu cannot install it'. I know this is a common problem i searched a lot on it and the best solution i fiund was to flash the SuperSu zip file from Clockwork Mod recovery.
But i dont have CWM as i didnt unlock my bootloader while rooting and i tried to install it but it didnt get installed as there was no su binary.
I cant un-root my phone i cant re-root it. I have tried everything but nothing works.
Is there no way i can have root access again?
I rooted Celkon Ultra Millennium Q 500, but did not install CWM recovery. For some reason, I unrooted. Then I tried re-rooting. This time root checker says phone not rooted, a second root checker says I do have ADB root available. Why? I uninstalles SuperSu and busybox, re-installed both these. Now subinary updating fails repeatedly. How can I overcome the problem and root my mobile successfully?
I have used the naked drivers to unlock the bootloader, and then used the newest king root apk to root it, but it says it's already rooted, so i downloaded supersu and foldermount, but supersu says there ain't no su binary installed, and foldermount is stuck on refreshing "checking for root" constantly.
Have i done something wrong here?
Yes, 1. NEVER root with king root 2. Post your questions in the correct forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help
Flash a custom recovery and then flash the latest SuperSU update.zip.
i Have rooted my device and installed custom ROM. After a a few days some application thats need root access can't grant any access from superuser. Then I downloaded root checker and click on verify root and it says "Sorry! Root access is not properly installed on this device. Help me.
Back up data then factory data reset it then try root again
