Downloading apps that are not in the market

Since we cant patch the market in GINGERBREAD i miss some apps. Anyone know where to download free apps, i.e. 2player, icq, amazon mp3 etc.
I mean to download directly, not over the market....
Androidzoom and appbrain launches the market, so ist can not download these apps...

ROM Manager Premium

I have a question guys.... I had purchased ROM Manager Premium when I first got my Vibrant and since I have been flashing it I currently don't have a backed up copy of the application. To reinstall it at this point do I have to purchase it again or if I got to the market and click "buy" again, with it remember me and allow me to download it again without having to pay for it again? Thanks.
You shouldn't have to purchase again. It should just say download

Any App that you buy off the Android market is tied to your Google account. So if you use the same account that you bought it on, all you have to do is search for it, or go to My Apps under settings in Market, and just download it again
When in market hit your menu,go to my apps from there you should see rom manager premium and beside it will say "purchased".
Meaning you've already purchased it click on it and it will reinstall at no cost to you

Purchased apps

How do you reinstall purchased apps when you upgrade your phone?
I'm just thinking about the new 2.3.3 upgrade I will lose all my applications how do I reinstall my paid apps without having to pay for them again?

They can just be reinstalled after you upgrade.
Or if your phone is rooted use titanium backup from market.

How does the market know I paid for them. By using my email address?!

Yes. I constantly update roms and reinstall paid apps all the time. If you paid for them it will be logged into your market history. You can also log in at market.android.com on a PC/Mac and view or install apps directly from your computer. It's all the non paid apps you will lose! Back them up with titanium backup and you should be good.
You won't lose the unpaid apps the market.android.com will show them but any apps that are sideloader will not be shown and apps that SE doesn't want you to have will not be shown. Also apps you carrier doesn't like will be be not found.
So if you have stuff like game emulators or tether apps you will need a app backup application. If you downloaded stuff from Amazon you may have to call them to get the app reloaded to your phone..

TB is your best bet, but know that some apps are not cross ROM compatible. most paid apps will be.

Market

Does anyone know how to "full" market on the optimus v? Many apps are not available for the optimus v and you cannot rent movies from the phone, (but I did get the Google videos app). I want to know if I can get the market as it is on a galaxy nexus or galaxy s 2. Any ideas?
-Thanks!

I dont know if it works out for you too. I had installed AppBrain App market and from there make a search for the desired app and click install. It will open up the respective applications' page in the Android Market and there the download and install button is available.
be thankful that market shows you only supported apps.on applanet for example you don't know what supports ur phone and what doesn't so you gotta try them all and at some point you get bored, especially when you're not that lucky.Download apps/games from rusian website, they ported lots of game and unsupported stuff for o1.
Ill try the things suggested, just for clarification I mean I would like to see ALL apps, like if you go to market.android.com
EDIT: none of them have worked, I'm not really sure how to use market enabler, I ran it, allowed super user and picked a carier market but nothing was different.

why would android only make some items available through mobile? strange.
Run the "market fix" from chainfire 3d pro.apk (rooted phones only) then u will be able to see many more games in market.
