I know what you are talking about. Try unpairing and pairing your devices again. Somehow bluetooth connectivity in CM is not as fluid as on stock. That's my personal experience.

I also use that rom but I haven't had any problem like that.Like others have suggested,I too would suggest you to use another file manager...If nothing works, your last resort maybe a reflash.

I've been useing that rom too. Didn't have that problem. I was sending .mp3 files via standard File Manager, Astro, Root Explorer, Es File Explorer.
After read that post i flash again Kang CM and send from/to my Ace couple of .mp3 files.

use root explorer

I'm not facing any problems in BT sharing on this ROM.
Just used file manager apps such as Astro/Root Explorer from the market (it's free).

Problem with Typefresh

I've rooted my device, and trying to change the system font with typefresh. The app it self is working. But, somehow, everytime I've apply the new font and reboot, the font still doesnt change, no matter how much I try. So, does anyone know how to solve this ?
Thank you
Ive done it without typefresh...
Name the front in DroidSans.tff and then the same front again in DroidSansBold.tff( so you have two files) and copy them with rootexplorer into system/fronts...
It worked for me...

Hmmm...maybe i shouldnt use typefresh to change it. Gonna try it that way...
i have same problem with type fresh....please help
It seems the problem came from the permission it self.if it still no hope, than you should paste it directly by using root explorer.

What is the file ur trying to push? Link? Does the firmware match from the ROM ur taking it from and pushing it into? System is set to Read/Write?had to ask, lol

Yea its set as r/w nd the file im tryin to push is like a skin for the mms i downloaded it from the hemes and apps section it somethin called DARK MMS and it came wit a zip fike so i jst downloaded it directly to my phone extracted it nd trted to push it... and im using TRIGGER
Funny enough, that mms.apk doesn't work for me either.
Ok guys I tried some from all of these links:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=938465

most were already apk's just rename and push, one was zips just unzip and they were already named mms.apk for me push and done.
Only thing was you gotta remember to rename them Mms.apk then replace your original. Don't forget to make a copy of your original. Once you replace the original mms.apk you should not have to install it. Just back out and open mms app and ur golden. First run will prob lag a little reboot phone should fix it. Good luck!

yea i downloaded those apks and also followed the steps to push them and nothing happened.. again what i did was ZIP FILE-MMS APKS- EXTRACT-EXTRACTED FOLDER-MMS APK- COPY- SYSTEM- APP PASTE and once i select paste it takes me to the SD card folder and the mms apk doesnt replace the original one.. instead it gets pasted on the SD card folder so it kinda mskes me mad because i try and i keep tryin and i even rebooted my phone so many times and it doesnt work at all!!!
Hmmm very odd indeed.
What file explorer are u using? Root explorer? That's what I used.
Are you dling and extracting all on phone? Try fresh dl on pc and unzip extract .apk on pc. Move .apk onto phone and then try to push it into /system
*Edit* The first 2 links are .apk already so I assume you mean the 3rd link. I unzipped the "blue colored" & "blue nolip" werked fine for me. Which ones were you trying?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA Premium App
The third one..... nd yea what i did was extract the apk from the zip fike nd tryed to push it into the system-app and pressd paste and nothin happens.. i reeboot and it doesnt do anythin... nd yea i used root explorer....
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA Premium App
Ok so I assume you mean the 3rd .zip in the 3rd link which is the "Blue Mms nolip zip"?? If so thats awesome because its one that I tried and actually the last one I pushed. Here is the .apk from the zip I downloaded try pushing it. Maybe you got a bad download or a corrupt file during the unzip(prob not). Lemme know how it werks. If it doesn't maybe some screenshots of what your /system/app/ looks like in root explorer. Good luck!
Omg!! Thank u so much it looks awesome!!!

Q How to copy keyboard?

Hello do anyone know if it's possible to copy keyboard from one rom to other rom? To add a language.
Sent from my GT-S5830 using Tapatalk
yes its possible. but need to know which apk is the keyboard, also the lib associated with it.
I'm trying to find out about moving the keyboard as well. How to move the lib and the apk to system\app? I don't have root explorer..
what keyboard do u want to extract from the rom?
Hmm i didn't extract the keyboard myself. I got the DioChinese IME from a forum.
I just installed coderomv2x, but it does not have the chinese keyboard, so I downloaded it but not sure how to move it without rootexplorer..
well then, if just wanna remove stock keyboard from rom, just use titanium backup. uninstall/freeze it will do.
also if that diochinese keyboard u got is flashable zip file, u can just flash it via recovery.
Sorry but I'm new to this, so I don't really understand what u meant by flashable zip file. I have the apk and and .so files (which are the library files rite? :S) Is there a way to move these files to the system/app folder? How else do I install the keyboard? Thnx!
copy the apk to /system/app and the libs to /system/lib then give proper permission. permission for both the apk and libs should be rw-r--r--. then just reboot ur phone. u need to rooted ur phone and using any filemanager with root capability like root explorer to do this.
Thanks, i found Super Manager from the market and used it to move the files. How do i enable permissions? By using the superuser app?
dont know about super manager because never use it, but if using root explorer is long click on the file>Permissions. and it should look like this
Hmm icic my files appear as rwxr-x, and i can't seem to find a way to change the permissions...but i went back to the apk file and tried to install. It installed and the keyboard now works, but i think the handwriting mode got prob.
when u enter any filesystem folder using root explorer, on the upper right corner theres a button that showed "mount r/w", click it until it shows "mount r/o". only then will u be able to change the content of filesystem folder.

Do you know? Please tell then.
Keyboard apks normaly are top of the list and end in ime for instance AxT9ime.apk and if you deodex you can take libs from the apk its self hope that helps.

Is there a flashable .zip file for any file explorer ?
I i am using ics final rom and it do not include file explorer by default.
I know I can download file manager from market, but i want flashable file in-case,I do not have access to internet.
I tried few flashables file after googling them, but all giving me same error.
Amend scripting is no longer supported.
please switch to edify scripting to create working update zip packages.

let me rephrase "if" i do not have internet acess.(which was the case last night)
Just send installable apk of any file manager by bluetooth to ur cell and install it from notification drop down list. This worked for me. Before sending the file through BT, enable "Unknown sources" from Application tab in the settings.

Mate, you can just download APK for an app you like to use. Google is your friend.
Install APK > Titanium Backup pro > move app to system

[Q] My pc doesn't recognize an "update" on my phone

I noted this fact only yesterday. it isn't a problem with odin, but one more thing.
For example, if I have my pc on and I go with my phone in system/app and I copy an .apk file on sdcard/bluethoot, when I connect my phone at the pc, it doesn't find the .apk which is on sdcard/bluetooth, but if I go on the root explorer, there really is an apk file on bluethoot folder!
I think is a problem of my pc, but what problem? I have the drivers, even KIES, but there's this annoying problem, and I don't find problem with odin, only for this.
Now, I hope I have expressed myself correctly, anyone can help me?
Is your phone deodexed?
Have you tried changing location when you want to paste apk?
