It means that sony has released the playstation certified software development kit. Allowing third party developers, to develop original software for the playstation suite.

They said they would around these days. Eventually re games based on it will appear in Q2 2012.
Possibly couldn't this help devs trying to port psp games? (a small part of me hopes that will happen sometime )

Probably not as this is geared toward making games foor buth android and the Vita and the Vita can already run psp games. Porting those games would not be necessary for a significant part of the audience you try to reach.

Good post guy!
I think what he is asking, do any browsers support the java plug in so that you can play java based games on sites like Pogo.
What he said ^^^^^
I'm trying to think but nothing happens.
Yeah , just like cruise said . To play java based games .

Haha thanks for telling me but draw something is actually a game. Friends can draw something and you need to guess what they drawed. So you get points etc etc.. it's really funny.
But there is no-one who can help us out or maybe port it to the wildfire?
Email the developer and ask for qvga support. Oh and its an awesome game, I like trolling my friends on it. Its the mobile version of draw my thing by omgpop btw

Sended an email. I will tell their reply here!
I've sent an e-mail aswell!
For those who wants to get help with this game, there is a tool for you at drawanswer.com It's pretty cool!
reply from OMGPOP - draw something
I tried it too and got this error: "Error (Marmalade v5.2.1 [300266]) - This build does not support SW rendering, and the device does not have HW support."
Also tried the new patch 1.3.6 Final. Still not working. same error.
So I made up an email to OMGPOP, and got an automaticly generated reply which contained something about the facebook plugin which will be patched soon because of the crashes. And a message, "one of the developers will reply soon".
(Attached the 1.3.6 patch, Maybe someone got a solution?)
I think we're doomed with our Wildfires
I still don't got a replay
Anyway, which email adress did you contacted?
I got the same error btw.

Uhhmm, searched for Developers email. Just found this on the market page (also known as Google play since ?Yesterday?) [email protected]
Any news on this yet?
I'm quite new to all this rooting stuff but I got the same error message as mentioned above. It's a great game and I'd really love to see it working on my poor old wildfire!

I sended like 5 times an email but yet no response. Anyone else?
I've seen the game on other phones, and judging from the effects and transitions etc, I think the game requires OpenGL ES 2. Our phone doesn't support that. Maybe we could ask the developers to create a "Lite" version without those effects, for older/cheaper phones like ours. I don't think they'll do it (as they don't even respond to other emails), but it's worth a try.
Hey guys I got finnaly my reply today. And it's good news
This is what they said:
Joseph, Mar 22 14:13 (EDT):
Hey Mark,
We are looking into supporting more devices and platforms in the future. There are some cases that will need to be solved by an app update we're working on. We're working as efficiently as we can to push out the next update soon! The Wildfire request has been very popular, so we will definitely work on it!
Thank you for your patience!
Best,
Joseph

Saw something about this game on BBC news the other day, it has been sold to zynga for an obscene amount of cash so the original devs are probably too busy spending and partying right now!

This is not about the operating system or the cpu, this is about the gpu,the graphics chip. The Wildfire doesn't have one, so it doesn't support OpenGL ES 2 (the grapics API which Draw Something uses), so it doesn't work. More expensive phones do have a gpu which supports OpenGL ES 2 and therefore can run Draw Something and other games, even if they have the came cpu and operating system as the Wildfire.
I want this game too
the reviews are really nice..
Been a while since i posted here as my wildfire died, i have a galaxy mini now, i decompiled Draw Something to try and re-size it for my phone, couldn't manage it, gonna try again.... but best to email the dev's and ask for it to be supported
When Galaxy Ace was released we had ports of Good Game titles like NFS Shift, NOVA, Modern Combat, etc But now our phone is just flushed as piece of poop by developers and no official company support for us. M not talking about ROM and scripts. Just Games I know Ace is not for gaming and whatever.
What do you guys think.
We just wait for support

All mobiles have a short shelf life. Look at Iphone 3 etc. New versions come older ones with decent specs get cheaper. Thats progress and all electronics companies would soon go bust without it. We do what we can until our 18mnth/2yr contract expires. That doesn't make the Ace a bad phone in it's price range otherwise why did the knockers buy it at the time?
Penguin your SII will be out of date in 3 months or less won't it?
The Galaxy Ace was a mid-range phone from the beginning. Power users and gadget geeks got the Galaxy S II which will be obsolete in the near future. The smartphone industry is advancing at a breakneck speed similar to the early days of the PC. If you wanted to play the latest 3D games you had to upgrade every year.
The real question is: Does the phone in your hand still work and do what you need it to do? Can you still browse the Web, access social media sites, etc?
It means Galaxy Ace is dumped in poop and outdated now

I dont think SGA was overpriced at the time I bought it(a few months after its release), not in Sweden nor in Hong Kong. That's probably why so many "noobs" uses SGA, since they bought for the pricing in the first hand.

I'll just keep writing Sony to remind them of the Tegra's quadcore as opposed to the PS One's classic game chips. Not gonna be happy until they share their PS3 games! God of War for starters, I want the hero to look like John Slade of Shadowgun and just as witty. And while we're at it, I want Sarah reincarnated as a life sized wood nymph as his tormentor instead of that old hag. Keep it up John!
While earlier the game cheat apps used to work pretty fine (including game cih, game guardian, game killer etc) but nowadays the devs are incorporating measures so that it cannot be cheated
can anyone suggest an alternative method
I really need it for in app purchases
