Any one .....???????
Well SMS tone works on Notification sound, so keep it on higher side if you want loud SMS tones.
Otherwise you've to select a high pitch tone or a longer one.
You've no reply because no one finds the SMS volume low, me? Mine is always on vibrate.

I have problem with WM6, when you in call with someone,if there is a SMS coming in, the SMS notification will play via the earpiece instead of speaker, but the problem is that the volume of the notification is too loud to hear clearly the conversation!
Is someone can help to decrease the volume of SMS notification during a call? Thanks a lot.
did you have such issue?
Which rom are you using?
well, I am using a chinese version,WM6 version is 17913.0.3.0
Well, I am using PDAViet 4.0.0.0.5a Cross and I don't have that problem. Maybe you could change?
On the other hand there might be a much simpler solution.
Hi all.
I noticed some weird "incoming call" volume behavior with my SGS2.
I set the volume to the highest. First 2 seconds when someone calls me, the ringer tone is very low, then it becomes very loud (to the setting I put it). I have a MP3 that has the same volume through out the whole song, but the first 2 seconds of the song are very low.
Does anyone know what this could be?
I'm running a unrooted KF3

It's the standard "increasing ringtone" behaviour. I know quite a few people don't like it (I do though) so there could well be a modified version floating about.

It's called ascending ringtone and it is normal on the SGS2. You can flash a custom ROM that removes it or there might be a way to remove it on an unrooted phone.
Thank you guys for the quick and good response.
It's silly though to not have a option to turn this on/off in the "Sound" settings.
If anyone knows a way to turn this off without rooting or flashing a custom ROM, please let me know.
Hi, everyone!
I have an Galaxy S2 with cyanogenmod 7.1, in settings at volume tab, ringtone is set to maxim, after i receive a call, the volume decrease at 60%. How can i stop this "back to defaults after incoming call" at my phone?
Thanks in advice!
Nobody?!
It's really annoying with this "problem" ...
I still have this frustrating issue with my phone, i try different settings, no good.
Nobody has this problem ?
I've found the problem!
Profile scheduler!!! stupid app
Okay i searched alot for this problem and didn't find any suitable answer fix or 3rd party app for it..
I have a motorola fire xt311 when it rings i rarely hear it specially when it's in my pocket..
And yes, the ringing i did the setting for the ringing volume to the highst available value, so anybody knows any app that would make the ringing volume LOUDER ?
Thanks in advance
You could TRY using a really loud MP3. (Like take an MP3 into SoundBooth or CoolEditPro or something and artificially increase its volume and use that as your ringtone?)
