i was wondering if there is an alternative to Super BT Mono. i tried btmono but neither seem to work on MIUI. they both work on 2.1-2.3.7 (CM and Sense) but yet i would really like to try MIUI, but not having this program is a no-go. any hack/app would be great, even if i have to pay for it. ty
I would like to know as well. I tried using miui on my triumph but the app didn't work. It is a MUST for me. It is probably something to do with miui.

Are there any apps available for the Atrix to play audio over a mono bluetooth headset? I have tried the Super BT Mono Froyo and BTMono apps from the android marketplace and have not been able to get them to work.
Any suggestions (Besides using an A2DP headset)?
I 2nd that! Device not usable to me w/o this option. I've been able to enable this with all my other devices for the last 4 years at least. Not allowed to have both ears covered at work, BT hands-free only option to listen to podcasts at work. Makes 10 hour days seem like forever since I got Atrix and lost this ability. Not sure how many others willing to pay for this, but I would commit a large donation for sure to anyone who has the ability to get something working on the Atrix.
I'd love to findng something that does this as well. Any thoughts?
BTMono works well for me, but I wish Android would support it natively.

I tried btmono but it didn't work for me. What's the version of your android?
It was actually a feature on the stock Froyo build but for some reason it disappeared when I switched to GB. I've always thought it was just my headset though. I had a Plantronics Explorer but I lost it around the time I switched so I don't know if that was the issue.

Has anyone used the NT to make a phone call in CM7? I've been playing around trying to add pbxes in the phone settings but I can't get it to take. Anyone had luck at this?
nope, wont work
you have to specifically contact the app developer and tell them to add Nook Tablet as devices to be compatible with
because the voice recorder app works and many other games work
Really? Neither Sipdroid or the native phone app that has voip included in the setting won't work no matter what? I haven't tried Skype as of yet but I'd imagine that and things like Fring would work. But you say not to bother and because they will not?
sorry, forgot to mention i am on the CM7 rom
and before when i was on the stock roms, no they would not work.
in cm7 though, most voice apps will work, except for calling ones since...(i dunno)
my experience is with groove Ip
I have tried everyone I could find (with a decent rating) and results were no mic or no speaker. Could not get both to work on any voip/sip app at the same time.
I am running the latest CM9 by Jokersax (0.5.0). I noticed that the DSP manager is not working with music players (I've tried PowerAmp, Winamp, Double Twist, 3) other than the stock Music app. The the AROMA installer by Jokersax has the option of adding the MIUI music app but even that does not work with DSP. DSP worked nicely with all of the above music players on CM7.
I've seen similar issues being raised with CM9 rom on other devices too, but from what I've read it would appear that this is both device and rom specific issue.
Can anyone confirm that this happens on their CM9 build too? Anyone found a way to get DSP to work on non stock music app?
I also tried using the DSP Manager on CM9, but using Turl1's build. Didn't work, at all, tried a few different things for it, such as wiping, flashing the ROM again, switching through a few different ROMs and back to CM9. I eventually installed Volume+ and that worked just fine. I was more looking for something similar to the Beats Audio that I had installed a while back on CM7, since I don't really feel like messing with an equalizer/I'm too lazy to figure it out. With Beats Audio the sound from my phone through headphones and through my car were much better than with Volume+, as it seemed to balance out the audio. I would look into Volume+ if you want an equalizer for CM9, it's pretty comprehensive.

I can confirm that. DSP only works with stock music and google music.

Well, since it's not just me having this issue I sent a pm to Joker and he said he would look into it. As we know him, this can mean one thing only-he'll find a fix

Hello, I have an Atrix 4G on AT&T. Rooted , stock rom and kernel. I rooted to make minor tweaks only.
I have the MW600 Bluetooth headset by SE, which has a display for track info.
The thing is that the atrix does not seem to support this feature. I tried google music, poweramp, songbird and the stock music player and none of them work. So is this hardware or software related? If its hardware, then theres nothing I can do. If its software though, is there anything
i can do that does not involve flashing custom roms? If that IS the only option, tell me which rom and i might just do it. Thanks again.
its software. i have sony ericsson liveview and besides the connection issues everything worked perfect. you could try another rom like cm7 or nottachtrix. it should support it anyhow.

So, I've used Viper4Android for a time, but it has become so buggy that even running the app is a hit or miss (sometimes wouldn't even process the audio even after freezing AudioFX). That being said, I am looking for other audio mod alternatives.
As the topic implies, what are the audio mods that you guys are using and tell me the reason(s) why. I am interested to know. Thanks!
Hi, i personally use viper4android and i feel its really good, i had some ringer volume cracking issues when using stock rom, but everything works fine on miui. If you want alternative, i suggest Dalby Atmos, but it has less functions than viper4android.
