Guys, I can't find Google Maps and Google Plus on the market. I thought it's the phone so I installed market enabler, still nothing.
I'm now online, on the web market, and I still can't find them, all filters are off. Can you find them?
Can you think of anything about why I'm unable to find them even with the web market?
two options:
1. installing gapps.zip may help.
i dunno if its the correct link..but try flashing apps addon from here...
2. Go to settings - account sync- add gmail account.
hit thanks if i helped you.
after root, wipe and flash custom ROM i have installed the gapps, so i can see Market, News and Weathers, Car Home and etc. (well after i installed gapps i cannot see Market, until I add my gmail account, I did not sync it)
But i can't see google map. I tried to download from Market android through my PC, it says not compatible, try m.google.com/map in my phone to install it shows "item not found"

JEEZUS, the original post is so old!
I spent a few minutes coming up with an answer just to realize it's obsolete.
Please stop digging up dead topics, you post count hunters!
Hello All,
The topic says it all.
I am having Samsung Galaxy S2 with Cyanogen Mod which i recently updated to nightly build 7-11162011-NIGHTLY.
Even with this update and with the stable build whenever I go to the market to install Google Maps and Latitude, it always this application is not available in your country, which us kinda hard to believe.
Interestingly remaining within the very same country I can install and use Google Maps and Latitude Symbian version on my old Samsung Omnia HD i8910.
So does anyone know or have anyone tried to install all such google apps with country restrictions.
Thanks for your support.
Try using Market enabled app, its on the market but you need root access for it (I guess you have, if you have custom ROM)
It allows to fake the location to Market app, bypassing the location restrictions. Just open the app, press and hold the Network/Location you wish to fake and select fake the provider. Then just go to market app, restrictions should be gone.
Its very useful for this weird cases.
Hope it helps.

I had same problem before.
But my Jetstream is cool now.
Here are what I have done:
1 - Factory reset my Jetstream, it will be back to original Market.
2 - Connect to Network but don't touch the Market (it will be updated to Play automatically).
3 - Download latest Play Store from Web by Web Browser.
4 - Install the download (remember to check on Setting --> Application --> Unknown Sources).
5 - Play Store will completely replace the stock Market (Market will disappear, only Play Store exist).
The only issue has been noticed is my Jetstream seems to work slower. But it's ok, I can uninstall Play Store whenever I want.
Hope this will help !
Cheers from Vietnam !
How come, that Google Keyboard is hidden in Google Play from me?
I have three devices, a Nexus 5, a Nexus 7, and an older HTC One S with CM11. All of these are using Google Keyboard.
But searching for Google Keyboard in Play Store nothing shows up. Therefore updates for the keyboard is not showing up either.
I have a work around for this though. Start up an web browser on the phone, search Google for Google Keybard, click the first result, and Play Store starts up showing Google Keyboard - it's there. And if any updates are available, I can install these too without problems.
But why do I have to go through a web browser to access (and update) Google Keyboard on my devices? Why doesn't the Google Keyboard show up when searching in Play Store?
I'm living in Denmark, is this the issue due to regional restrictions? I know of other of my friends, who I have showed the trick of going through the web to update the Keyboard.
Did you figure out how to fix the issue? I have exactly the same problem and its so annoying Live in Ukraine, so it seems region does not matter.
You can try downloading from APK Mirror, it works well.

Nope, still same issue, auric88.
Sure, BingoseasonsCP, you can also find it via Google search, as I state in the first post, but you don't get automatic updates..
can anyone recommend an offline maps app that will work with the i5800 running cyanogenmod 7.2 mtd? all the ones i've tried won't load any maps. can access menus etc but the map is always just a black screen. google maps has no problem displaying maps and satellite images, but only with an active data connection.
i know there are old topics about offline maps for this phone, but the latest versions of the apps mentioned in them won't necessarily work on it anymore, so i'm wondering specifically which versions of offline maps apps work for you, so i can then find an .apk of that version. thanks!
Google maps can save maps for offline use.
Anyway, I am using Here beta from Microsoft. But I doubt that can run on Galaxy 3.
isn't only recent versions of google maps that allow saving maps for offline use? pretty sure i had to use quite an old .apk to get google maps to install.
