Windows app on android? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I know I could technically play an app via any kind of remote viewer, but I don't think it would be able to use my transformers USB ports, unless I'm wrong.
What I'm aiming for, is using redsn0w, in ios jailbreaking app. It would be amazing because I have to run the windows program to boot my phone correctly.
Is there a way I can run a windows app natively, or at least could teamviewer use my keyboards ports?

Yeah I was really leaning to that one but I would need to upgrade from Windows 7 home premium from my understanding. I just might do it, as it seems to offfer sound and higher resolutions

Any cool app like this?

If you have games, especially cool gameloft ones.
You know how hard and frustrating it is to play with the fingers on your screen.
The only phone that lets you enjoy the game fully is the Xperia Play.
Is there and app where you can connect the PS3 controller via USB or Bluetooth wireless (how it connects to PS3) to play games?
Not like WiiMote that remote is confusing ......
It would be awesome if it was really especially if your phone has TV out support.
Well is there an app like this?
You couldn't use a ps3 controller with phones, because PS3 contollers are linked with their PS3's or PC via Mac Address, so unless there is a full-size usb-to-mini usb (or whatever the phone usb port is called) and someone develops drivers for the phone, you can't use a PS3 controller at all.
On a tablet running 3.1+ could use it wirelessly and wired but only them.

[Q]Webtop without external monitor

Is there anyway to use the webtop application or any sort of full linux on the phone instead of having to output on the hdmi?

As far as I know no there isn't, although I think it would be pretty cool.
Yes there is. I read an article where a man managed to run ubuntu and connect to it using a VNC viewer. Im not sure how but look around the forums. What u need to do is install ubuntu using the ubuntu install script available in the development forum and then install a VNC viewer from the market. Its been done b4. Its cumbersome and not much use, but it works.

So was the vnc viewer to connect to the x server or whatever I forget what the right terminology is im tired

Exactly. VNC viewer is used to "remotely" connect to X server since the atrix display drivers are configured specifically for android and do not support X at all. Like i said, its a cumbersome system, but it works.
So im guessing that would require a network connection and it would have the typical lag when using vnc

How come still we can't get to work external webcams to our android tablet?

I mean they are keybords that you can connect why are external webcam failing ?
Any ideas why?
Every webcam has different drivers. So there is no way to get that support in Android. I'm sure you could install the drivers by 3rd party apps but thats about it.
