My mobile is unlocked.
Now i'm living in Argentina with movistar , but i can't have access to 3g or 3g+ . I have only edge.
How can i fix it please.

been covered a million times. SGS2 will not work on tmobile USA. you will only get 2g gsm. no 3g.
I search overall forum for a solution and i did not found the answer. Here my problem:
I have a Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant T-Mobile. I root the phone and now i have the ICS Passion v10 BETA from neobuddy89.
I have a Telcel provider with an EDGE connection.
I did the *#*#197328640#*#* "trick" to enable the 850Mhz 3G Band. But it did not work, i still have the EDGE connection.
I have the correct configuration in the access point.
In several threads i read that Telcel and T-Mobile bands are not similar. So my question is Can i use a Captive modem (AT&T model) to enable the band?
How can i do that?
There is a tutorial to do that?

How did you configured internet EDGE for telcel?
I have a Vibrant in telcel, but no matter what I can't have access to internet
i can seem to get any data connection on vodafone uk with my HDC S4 Legend no 2g or 3g vodafone uk uses 900/1800 gsm and 900/2100 wcdma yet still not even edge confused.

Hi, I live in Argentina and have a AT&T I717 unlocked with ISC official rom.
The problem is about loss signal. When I turn on the phone its show Movistar with 2 or 3 signals bars but after few hours Movistar dissapear and I cant use the phone to make calls. I have to turn off and on the phone the resolve.
I used the simcard in another phone and never had the problem.
Any person with this problem ?

I used the tmobile modem since movistar uses the same 1700/2100 bands. You also have to change your APN settings.

AT&T is one of the Top Mobile Service Providers in USA... like Vodafone in UK, MTN in Africa, Airtel in India..
