Hi all, naybody knows if is possible to enable as HDMI our USB port? Maybe for a custom ROM...
Don't think it's possible due to hardware limitations I'm afraid.

Doesn't have HDMI-out I'm afraid. Lets you connect USB devices to the phone, but the HDMI-out is from the phone itself - which the Ray doesn't have. Only way I can think would be to sell it on and buy an Arc or similar.
I have a related question - has anyone ever used the DLNA options for streaming video from the phone? Does it do pictures too?
I just got my Xp Ray yesterday and haven't had time to back-up my current phone and move everything to it. I also need to root and partition a microsd card, too. But I'm looking forward to using it soon - it's a very elegant phone. (Got the gold.)

The only utility of the livedock is the possibility to keep in charge the phone while other usb devices are connected, cause it already handles the usb devices (I connect an usb dock with mouse and keyboard on it without problems, but I can't charge it at the same time^^)
does anyone know whether the xperia ray supports MHL?

Not that specific one, but the one that Sony sells. Works like a charm. But any cable should work, no matter what brand.
Not necessarily EVERY cable will work since there are actually two variants of the micro-USB standard, but the vast majority should work.
This is the one I got and it works like a charm: eBay

for the 10.1 dunno if it works?
From Amazon it is presented as for both 7/10. Have a look. It is not a Samsung make, but made for SGT2 devices. It costs just over £6 including shipping. Sadly it takes 7-23 days to ship. Talk about trying my patience!

I dont know about p3110 but its working fine on p3113 and p3100. its too cheaper than any other OTG solution on market.
See thread posted by me = http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=27555721#post27555721
I am 99% sure that it will work on your p3110. Try it, $7.50 is not a big deal , if work please tell me, i will update original thread to help peoples.
Has anyone bought a micro-usb to usb adaptor (female) and attached a usb thumb drive or similar to the x10?
Does anyone know if it works?
I have just purchased one from ebay and I am awaiting its arrival in a couple of weeks. I am keen to try it and see if my phone will recognise it using Astro.
Will it break my phone?

OK - I just took my Archos into the shop and the micro port is shot and they can't fix it!
So my question is: Can I charge my unit with a USB cable plugged into the 3G port and connected to the wall charger?
Or is my unit officially a "brick"?

Thanks for the response. I have a 6GB 101G9 running ICS (or rather was running ICS).
You don't happen to have any suggestions, do you?

They said I could send it in (and most likely would be replaced). But because it's out of warranty, it would be over $100 to do so. This was actually a gift to our church from Archos because we are not in a position to afford a tablet with our budget (its a brand new church plant) nor justify the expediture to have it fixed/replaced.
I think if we were going to put out that money eventually (within the next 6-8 months), we'd look at getting a new tablet somewhere else.I just really miss having one and thought there would be a way to get it bqack to working order.
Thanks for asking and for your help
