Don't know if this is old news (searched for "maxx" and found no results) but TJ Maxx has a number of iPad accessories that they are dumping (as normal) and I found a Targus stand (AWE68TBUS) for 14.99 + Tax = 16.00 out the door.
They also had a headrest mount holder for $10.00 but I did not have the tablet there to confirm fit.
If old news sorry, if not pretty sweet stand. The rubber base rotates into 3 tilt positions and the dock connector fits in a cut out perfectly so all you do is line it up and plop it down and it is stable and easy to remove.
Thanks I will check it out.
TJ Maxx is YMMV.

So I went to Walmart after hearing I might find a stand for cheap and I was surprised at the results. I got a decent stand that fits the g tablet in landscape and portrait mode for $1! I did test fit the other ones but settled one the $1 and the $3 ones. I have to say the cheaper one is my favorite. I just put a bit of tape on the bottom so it wouldn't slide, even though it holds it firm. I would suggest this stand to anyone that needs a temporary stand. I have uploaded all the ones I seen at Walmart. Here you go, have a look.

Thanks man I splurged and got the 3$ stand. I liked it because I can fold it up. Definitely works like you said it does have a tendency to want to slide but other wise perfect. Thanks for posting.
I have been using a business card holder as a stand. Works great in landscape, but not portrait. $2 at staples.
Little glue does the trick
i picked one up aswell. But after doing a quick browse thru walmart's clearance aisle, i found a get-a-grip pad for $4.
So i cut the pad (4 strips) and super glued them to the stand. Now i have a no scratch/no slip stand. I love being crafty
I got one of those transparent stands shown in the first set of pics. Works fine, actually, and looks like it belongs with the pad.
The folding and lightweight nature of it is great too.
I might try this, thanx for the idea!
I bought a book gem from amazon. It works really well and it folds nice and flat so it fits in my case perfectly. I use my GTab at work so having it sitting up is a must. The position makes typing really easy and quick.
Another nice thing is that I'm able to use it in portrate mode and hang it from my steering wheel so I can read my book (Kindel app) while I'm sitting at Sonic having lunch.
Sorry, can't post a link, but here is what it's called.

I use the same exact stand and I love it. My fiancée was the one who suggested it would fit and I have been using it every day since. Love that it folds up and and travels in my back pack perfectly. Great idea with the get a grip, I'm doing that asap!
While the gtab is nice to hold in your while relaxing in the lazy boy, sometimes you need to work at a desk. As we all know, laying the gtab flat isn't the best way to use it. Enter our old friend Staples. For ten bucks you can get a desktop document holder. Stock it works fine but for the ambitious you can shorten it with a hacksaw and some sandpaper and it becomes very portable and quite stable. Cheap and effective.
can you throw up a picture/link, Mr. Hacksaw?
This is what I use.
Even though the description says it's for an iPad or Galaxy Tab, it works great for my gTab and it's highly adjustable.
Arkon Portable Fold-Up Stand
Got my Arkon stand a week ago and luvin it! Fits in the bag perfectly and supports the gtab either vert or horz.
I'm still curious about the hacksawed document holder referred to by the OP....
which bag? the official one made for the gtab?

I can say from experience that the Arkon stand does fit nicely in the Viewsonic/Case Logic $5 bag I picked up at Sears when I bought my gTab. It also fits nicely in my shirt pocket as well when I'm about to board a flight.
I just picked my one of these up from the post office
http://www.dealextreme.com/p/foldab...y-mobile-stand-for-tablet-pc-mid-ipad-2-70723
Works perfectly for the Transformer, even holds it high enough to plug it in safely.
Well worth the investment, the stand is good and sturdy, 2 positions, rubber is good and grippy and the price is right.
This one's from Amazon. I'm planning on getting this for my TF. Very similar to the one you got.

I'm liking this one because it can be used with the dock as well, if you're like me and have bad vision, and get quite a painful back if you're bent over a tiny laptop/netbook/tablet for a few hours.
Anyone have this Belkin?
I can't post links but it's at staples dot com, product_927864
In the US, only $19.99 but almost double here in Canada.

Tested this with the dock, works well to elevate the keyboard for typing, much like the legs on a full size keyboard
This thing: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0046SNNRY/.
I have a rooCase coming in next week, but I'm looking for something else for extra padding when I'm traveling and to carry accessories with the tablet.
It looks like this Targus bag should be about the right size, but I was wanting to make sure.
Yes I have one. I got mine at target for around 24 bucks. It is a perfect fit. I imagine the keyboard will fit in the other compartment perfectly but i have no keyboard.
The inside pocket might seem to small but it is very soft and it doesn't take long to stretch making a very snug fit.
It holds my prime and 2 chargers. I don't have a need to carry more but there is room for it.
I 100% recommend this bag.
Yeah, I saw it at Target a couple of hours ago for that price, which is why I asked. Thanks for the review!
I have it as well and second the perfect fit. When the dock is attached to the tablet it fits next to the inside pocket. When their separate, the tablet fits in the pocket and the dock fits right next to it. The padding is soft and not excessive. I included some pics for you. There's also room for the charger in the outside pocket and of course a cloth for the fingerprints.
I also paid 24.00 at Target but couldn't find online for that price. I 100% recommend
I almost bought it several times in the month ( felt like months) wile my prime was preordered. Then my wife bought me one for Christmas though I still had a bit of a wait. It is perfect for travel. It feels like it was made for the prime.
I picked up this at Best buy. Had some rewards points that needed to be used
http://www.amazon.com/Targus-CityGe...1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1326572391&sr=1-1-catcorr
It fits it well and it has the two compartments which fit it nicely if I detach the keyboard they can both be separated and protected if I choose or it fits fine as one piece. It has extra pockets on the inside for my mouse, cables and charger.

I got this one. It looks exactly the same but the two compartments are supposedly a little bigger than the one you posted. Yours is the TSM148US while mine is the TSM097US. It's a little cheaper too.

Check out this review:
Perfect for my ASUS Eee Pad Transformer and its keyboard dock, June 8, 2011
By L. Paquin (San Francisco, CA USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Targus CityGear Netbook Case for up to 10.2 Inch Netbooks- Black and Grey TSM097CA (Personal Computers)
I have been looking around to find a good mean to carry my ASUS Eee Pad Transformer tablet around and its Keyboard/Docking Station but not necessarily always docked. Most netbook carrying bag only have one padded compartment to put the netbook. I was looking for one which had two sections so that I can leave them undocked to quickly pull the tablet alone quickly (as opposed to pull the docked tablet, undock and then put the keyboard back in the bag).
Last weekend, I brought my Transformer and the keyboard dock and went shopping around for that perfect bag. I found the Targus CityGear Mini (TSM148US) and tried it. The form factor was definitively what I was looking for but one of sub-sections was a little tight. I still decided that it would work for me and that it might strech a little over time. Then, when I looked on Amazon, I saw that there was this model, the Targus CityGear Netbook Case for up to 10.2 Inch Netbooks (TSM097US), which had pretty much the same specs but was cheaper (always a good thing). So, I decided to try it.
I received today and quickly opened it. It is pretty much the same as the one I tried last weekend but the two sub-compartments are bigger. So, no need to strech them and they work out of the box. It is a great way to carry my tablet docked or not to the keyboard. The side pockets of the bag also offer enouch space to carry the charger (it is pretty small anyway) and also my Arkon Portable Fold-Up Stand (great stand for this tablet BTW).
So, all-in-all, I highly recommend this tablet. I had been searching for recommendations for the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer and did not find anything that stroke me. This is why I thought of writting this detailed review (and I will post pictures) for my fellow Transformer owners!

This case looks pretty cool. How much storage space is there in the other slot? Is it enough to carry say a mouse, charger, and sixaxis?
I bought this one.

(Can't post links yet)
It works for the most part just will for a little more pocket space in the other spots.
Hi
I found a hardcase for my TPT which is normally used for netbooks,
so a little bit bigger, but with shoulder strap and one outside pocket.
(where I put the "disassembled" charger and my slim tablet stand in)
It was important for me that it can get it transported save and it does not crack immediately when knocked with the case to a table corner or similiar.
Do you know different or better ones?
The case:
coolbananas BulletProof 8.9-10.2 "

roocase executive case for 1838
there arent any to be had on ebay at the moment.
this is an old auction (link will probably die soon)
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/rooCASE-Exec...ver-Lenovo-ThinkPad-1838-Tablet-/200672870938
The problem is- they're 99USD+shipping... which is infuriating
when US buyers can get one for 40 USD (incl shipping) at:
http://www.pcmicrostore.com/Executi...-Tablet--Black-ROOCASE/cat-p/c/p10518482.html
i'm looking into silicon covers at the moment- more info once i have it.
Thats a nice case right there. Thanks for the link.
