Hi everyone, this is my first post, and sorry for my bad English in advance. I am currently using MK16i (Couldn't find its forum here...) and cannot connect to the ad-hoc hotspot created by Juikospot from my Nokia 5800XM. I used to get it work on a Dell Venue with a patch. After some search I found that Xperia stock ROMs do not seem to support any ad-hoc patch, so please advise if the CM7.2 ROM get this works? Many Thanks.
Hello? Is there anyone in help, please?
2.3.4 support it
Cyanogen is avaiable only for xperia 2011 line.
Also cyanogen dos not support hot spot.

Thanks in advance
Go to developer tools and crash the system server. And if you still don't get it try flashing a new baseband

Just tested it, and working fine.
Thanks sdk16420
But this method is usb dependent, and want to connect wirelessly.
Ah, I see, but what's the difference practically, as ad-hoc has about the same range as bluetooth?
want to stream TV contents from latop to my Neo V.
and it seems connecting them in wifi is best method to do that.
Edit: of course I can use wifi router but doing it without the router is more fun.

That's not just ad-hoc, ad-hoc is just using pc internet.

This seems like an amazing app. Unfortunately, it does not work on my Arc (running official ICS)
Does it work on your ICS Arc? On mine it says some kernel error, and ideas how to fix this?
Same problem as you. Are you rooted? Maybe because were rooted this won't work
I wonder if someone on nom-rooted 4.0.4 could make this work.
Sent from my LT15a using XDA
this is what i got
I think it's not running because of the old kernel Sony is using for ICS..
Sent from my LT15i using XDA
I am not rooted. Do you know if there's any other kernel that's newer? Or there's nothing to do and we just have to wait for Sony to possibly update the kernel?
is it using vpn ?
try installing tun.ko from the market and install vpn modules from that
see if it works for yo ..
regards ..
Works with AOKP.
sinkster©
Use opera mini or opera mobile with turbo mode or load tun.ko module for stock kernel or use a kernel that has tun/tap driver built in
what is the app for
Yeah.. Working with AOKP..
Sent from my Xperia Arc using XDA
so how did it go with yo .. ?
I've used it before , GREAT Is the PERFECT discreption for this app
but how did yo do ..?
Did yo try to find Tun.ko modules and did it work with yo or not yet .. ?
Let us know how is it goin..
regards ..

Isn't it working with you? I thought that the problem was the sony kernel.
Also for me don't work.. i'd like so much use it, because it's a good app
For me it also doesn't work. I have rooted my phone and installed tun.ko installer, but I fear all that the program does is create a tun.ko file on your sd card. I don't think it modifies the kernel or anything like that.. This works for DroidVPN and OpenVPN, but Onavo Extend is not made that way.
Now, all of a sudden, it's working for me! Using Miui (Portugual) 2.10.12, stock kernel, with this app installed: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...1bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5hZWQudHVuLmluc3RhbGxlciJd
EDIT: Looks like I spoke too soon, when I try to go to the internet using 3G my phone reboots.
Work on my ray
Stock kernel

Hi,
VPN on Sony devices require TUN.ko. Sony doesn't integrate it in kernel. You need a rooted ROM and have to "insmod" it.
Greets,

This app worked when i had stock ics on arc s, but it doesn't work after i've installed jelly sandwich
is there really no fix for locked bootloaders ??
thx for reply
My xda forum apps cannot login when this onavo is activated. Too bad. Other apps are okay so far.
