i got my lumia 800 yesterday, and i have been trying to download a few apps through the marketplace and zune.
But when trying to download spotify it tells me my region does not match the region for my windows live account.
I have a dutch and english and irish account. I have tryed all 3 and have changed my region to match my account on my lumia and my pc but with no success.
Is anyone else having the same issue???
I have a dutch Omnia 7 phone with region set to UK and my live account set to UK and Spotify worked with no problems. Not that it helps much.
Good luck.
Cheers. I have a dutch lumia aswell. But no matter what i try it will not allow me to download spotify.
I have even tryed creating a new windows live account to get it working but again zune would not let me download it

are there any workarounds and tricks to get Nokia Music Mix running in Germany?
No idea yet. I'm going to try some things now. Perhaps we can do something about it. I havn't seen the app using your location so perhaps just changing the language? Or perhaps there's an extra german version of the app. No idea yet!
Hopefully someone finds a solution soon!
Has the Nokia Mix radio only launched in the UK so far?
I'm from Denmark and have bought mine through comtech.de and hoped the Nokia Mix Radio would work out of the box or will i have to wait till the official launch in Denmark Q1 12? Haven't recieved my Lumia yet, so i can't test it.
Have read that the service should be global and it has been comfirmed to come to Denmark aswell. Just thought it would atleast work in the countries that the lumia has officially luanched in?

-Deinstall Nokia Music
-Go to Settings: region+language and Change Display language and Region format to English GB then restart Phone
-Reinstall it form market or my attachment (not sure if it works if reinstalled from market)
-Start it and you will get Nokia Mix-Radio no need to login to Nokia Musik
-After that you can change to old Display language and Region format, Mix Radio will stay

Hi
In freshly installed Lumia uk firmware in Nokia music there was Mix Radio feature. And it dissapeared just after i loged in with nokia account (it is not registered in UK). Maybe someone knows hot to get back Mix Radio? Reinstalling or loging in with Nokia account that is from uk or changing locale to uk doesnt help. Any ideas?

Mine did, too, when I logged in with my old Nokia/OviSuite account. Later that day, it showed up again and now works fine.
It disappeared in my Lumia too after I perfomrd a hard reset.
Yep, same here, it disappeared after a hard reset.
The whole Nokia Music feature is missing for me. Is there any way to get it?
If you are unlocked you can search for nokia music xap

The older NOKIA mUSic version 1.6.0.0 had the radio feature inbuilt without location restrictions, but was withdrawn from later versions!
My Lumia 800 does not have streaming music, all it contains is my music and the gig section. Is this a location problem. I am based in Australia.

It probably is a location problem.
I know on my phone, UK country variant that I imported to the US, won't allow me Mix Radio if I reset and use my actual location for the region. Also, I cannot sign into my Nokia acct in Nokia Music, or I'll lose mix radio as well.
After quite a few hard resets, I learned that I had to allow the location to default to UK, with a UK timezone and the correct UK time. I was then able to launch Mix Radio and confirm it worked. I could then change my region/timezone back to Pacific and Mix Radio didn't appear.
Why don't you give this a try and let me know if it works for anyone but me.
My issue is I dont want to hard reset to get it back. Seems stupid that I have to wipe and lose everything to get a feature working.

So by just changing your region settings, you can use Nokia's Mix Radio? What about offline music playback in Nokia Music app?
I have a Telstra branded Lumia 800 and I can acess the mix radio, mp3 store, etc. in Nokia Music.
Is the region on your phone correctly configured? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

How can you install Nokia music app? I don't think it's on Windows Phone Marketplace.
About the Nokia Music Radio Mix, it depends from country to country.
Some countries have this options, some don't.
Nokia Music is only in the Marketplace for certain regions.
I found that changing the region on my phone wasn't enough to be able to get Nokia Music to install. I had to hard reset to that region, confirm Mix Radio worked, then change to my correct region (I need the correct region for other apps to work correctly).

Mhm, I can't find it on my Marketplace.
I've flashed the 12070 firmware for Netherlands on my device and got Nokia Music back.
I can confirm I can use Offline Radio Mixes Playback by changing region settings to UK.
Nokia excluded this option in Belgium (and probably in other countries too) due licencing stuff.
Hi I flashed the dft pearl rom for my friends tmobile us radar everything is fine however the marketplace is in chinese! Is there a way to fix this? Registry setting perhaps?

Markatplace region is assossiated with the windows live ID and cannot be changed. New ID is required. I dont know of any reg tweak about this

yup
my friend failed to tell me until now that she did not put in her original win live id, she created a new one and the region field was grayed out, once she finished and got to marketplace , duh the marketplace is in chinese, now i just sent her the idswitch.xap to go back to her old win live id, so hopefully it should fix
as tittle says i can't download Bluetooth and ringtone maker from my Lumia 800 . I updated yesterday via zune from 7.5 to 7.8 . still it says i have to upgrade or region is not supported . please help me with this.
thanks.
I have spoken with a Nokia Care rep about this and they said they've disabled the apps for further testing. I'm guessing more development and security on the lumias because those apps are also being cracked and installed on other windows phones.
